They're single, they're rich, and now these billionaire bachelors are heading to Sanctuary Island, where love awaits.

Leo, Zane, and Cooper made a pact to stay bachelors and enjoy the single life forever, and when they receive an invitation to their friend Miles' wedding, they head down to Sanctuary Island determined to talk some sense into the errant groom before he makes a life-changing mistake. But Miles knows his own mind, and he makes a vow of his own: before he walks down the aisle, he'll have Leo, Zane, and Cooper changing their tune about matrimony. Because Miles knows, better than anyone, that all it takes is a little Sanctuary Island magic to turn romantic cynics into true believers.

4 - "Sometimes the only way forwards is to leave everything you know behind." Stars!

I am a BIG fan Lily Everett, and every book/novella that takes me back to spend a little more time in Sanctuary Island.

Three Promises
is a mix of both, in that it’s a book containing three previously released novellas (The Fireside Inn, Bonfire Beach & Lantern Lane) and all of them are set on the island.

Match-maker Miles Harrington, is due to tie the knot with the woman he loves in a few short weeks on Sanctuary Island, and in giving his three Groomsmen tasks related to the wedding, sets them all on the path to finding their own 'Happily Ever Afters'.

"When you find her- the one woman, the special one- don’t screw it up. Don’t let her go. Fight for her. Because if you lose her now, you’ll regret it for the rest of your life."

Leo, Cooper and Zane, as all you’re a-typical Billionaires, and I would be lying if I said any of the novellas offer up anything in the way of new and unusual tropes. But Lily crafts such charming stories together with some really likeable characters, that the three novellas combined just offer up a great few hours of reading pleasure.

"Show me what it’s like to be wanted."

You have the Aristocrat and the Librarian, a second chance reconnection, and opposites attract tropes used in the stories told and each one was equally as good as its predecessor. I loved that the author also provided a combined epilogue at the end to tie the stories together and give us a little follow up on everyone that was involved as well.

As with every book I finish that takes me to Sanctuary Island, I hope that I have the opportunity to visit again soon.

Please note: This book contains 3 novellas published in 2014. This is not a new original story!

This review can also be found at Carole's Random Life

I really enjoyed reading Lily Everett's Billionaire Bachelors novellas so when I was offered an early copy of the fourth book in the series, I grabbed it right away. When I actually started to read this book, I figured out right away that this was not a new book at all. This book is really just an omnibus of the three novellas that I read two years ago with an added epilogue. I jumped ahead to the epilogue and didn't find it to be worthwhile at all.

If you haven't read the novellas, they are really nice stories that can each be read in a couple of hours and I would recommend this book. I remember reading each of them while I sat with my mother during her chemotherapy treatments and they were a nice way to pass the time. If you have read the novellas, you will want to skip this one because there isn't really anything new that adds anything to the story.

I do think that the way that this book is being presented is very misleading. It was marked as book #4 in the series on Goodreads and at every retailer that I checked. The description does not mention anything about this being a repackaging of works that were published two years ago. I really do wish that publishers would be very clear any time a new publication is simply a re-issue of previously published material. I really feel bad for any fans of Lily Everett that purchase this book only to find that it contains material that they have already read and purchased.

I received an advance reader edition of this book from St. Martin's Press via NetGalley for the purpose of providing an honest review.

This is a collection of 3 novellas about 3 friends who are visiting their friend Miles for his wedding. Miles bets his friends that they will fall in love on the island like he did. His friends don't believe in love or marriage. This book is three novellas, one for each of Miles 3 friends. I really enjoyed this collection and each novella had different elements that made it special. I look forward to reading more by this author.

Three Promises by Lily Everett is part of her Sanctuary Island books, and is really three previously published novellas now gathered together in one book telling the story of the billionaire bachelors. Miles Harrington makes a bet with his three billionaire friends that by the time he is married their hearts will have become entangled for ever with someone. If anyone is able to hold out, they'll gain his private helicopter and all its privileges. He asks each of them to come to the Island at least four weeks before his wedding and gives each of them a task to accomplish for his wedding.

He asks Leo, a British lord, to find and present a secular reading at the wedding. Upon arriving at The Fireside Inn, Leo proceeds to the local library to ask the help of Serena - head librarian. She agrees with the proviso that he helps her to have access to the Harrington family, so she can canvas needed finance to keep the local library going. And so they get together, although the going is not easy and there are obstacles that almost send them apart as they touch into hurts from their pasts.

Bonfire Beach is the next story and is about Zane and Felicity. Felicity is the wedding planner and Zane has been set the task of helping her. Right from the start they clash in ideas. Felicity wants romantic, Zane wants anything but. As they begin however to be attracted to each other their pasts again intrude. They have a history of guilt and loss. As well Zane is unable to depth a relationship. In the end they retire to their own corners, and split the tasks.

The last story is Lantern Lake and is a second chance love story. Vivian Banks left Cooper on their wedding day back when they were in college. Now at Miles and Greta's wedding, Cooper takes the opportunity to spend some time with Vivian and punish her for what she did. There positions have now see-sawed, while he is no longer a hard-working poor student but a billionaire thanks to a smart app, she has lost all her wealth. Spending time together in an old fixer upper, it soon becomes clear there just might be a second chance for them.

I enjoyed all three stories, they were well written and fun. I loved the epilogue at the end that tied all the ends together, and proved that Miles knew his friends and Sanctuary Island very well.

This is a compilation of three previously released novellas (The Billionaire Bachelors). Three very wealthy friends of Miles Harrington arrive on Sanctuary Island for the wedding of Miles and Greta. Each determined to get in, attend the wedding, and get out! Once again though the magic of Sanctuary Island intervenes on the best laid plans.

Fireside Inn - Leo Strathairn may appear like a playboy aristrocrat but once Serena Lightfoot, Sanctuary's new librarian, really gets to know him she finds he is so much more. This is a wonderful sweet romance that develops as these to get to know each other.

Bonfire Beach - Zane Bishop may have plans for a bachelor party to end all but just as determined is the wedding consultant Felicity Carlson to keep that from happening. This two are perfect for each and this is a funny entertaining story.

Lantern Lake - This is a wonderful second chance story as Cooper Haynes arrives for the wedding and discovers that one of the bridesmaids is the only woman who has ever touched his heart. Vivian Banks tries everything to stay away from Cooper but in the end she can't resist.

Three wonderful stories of determination, hope and love. I highly recommend this collection.

This is a collection of three previously released novellas set on Sanctuary Island. It features a group of billionaires attending their friends’ wedding. I hadn’t read them before- so I enjoyed this nice easy read set in a luxurious world and the sparkly romance of weddings. The island weaves its magic on the bachelors and romance is given a chance once they confront demons in their past. I will definitely look out for more books by Lily Everett.

Note to readers, this is not a new book in the Sanctuary Island series. It is simply a compilation of three earlier novellas and a new epilogue that brings the stories together. While I did thoroughly enjoy each of these novellas when they were first published, I dislike when books are repackaged as though they are new stories.

Setting: Sanctuary Island
(East Coast w/wild horses)
Accidentally broke my rule and bought a book with billionaire in the title, actually subtitle, but anyhoo not too bad!
The first story with Leo who suffers from dyslexia was interesting and then Cooper and Vivian’s third story were my favs in this book. Also.. the resolution of Zane and Felicity’s disagreement was quite satisfying:)

This was the first book by Lily Everett I had read, but I will certainly be looking into more of her books. I love her writing style and the way the story flowed. This is not the first book in the Billionaire Bachelor series, but is a combination of three novellas previously released. It involves Leo, Cooper, and Zane, each billionaires in their own right, as they get involved with a bet and planning the wedding of Miles Harrington, their friend and a Billionaire Brother from one of Ms. Everett's other series. Miles bets them his helicopter and landing pad that each of them will fall in love and find their lives changed forever on Sanctuary Island while helping to plan his wedding. I really enjoyed meeting some of the Sanctuary Island ladies and watching these stories develop. There was the perfect amount of romance and heat in each of these stories.

Received an ARC from NetGalley for an honest review.

So this book is a compilation of the three novellas that came previously, which threw me at first since I had read the first already. I do think that Everett has made some edits because the first story was a bit better than I remembered.

I loved watching each of these guys meet their match in terms of women on Sanctuary Island, especially since they were each so convinced it would never happen. Leo is hiding a pretty big secret and has to turn to the island's librarian for help. Zane is insistent on living life to the fullest and has to help plan a wedding with a girl who insists on thinking everything through. And Cooper, well Cooper is confronted with the woman that left him years ago.

Each of the guys puts up a fight but these women are strong and are each a force to be reckoned with. It's a great compilation of short stories.

Judging a Book by it's Cover:
Calming colors, comforting scene. Synopsis combines the previous blurbs without specifying that this is, in fact, a compilation of previously released novellas.
-----------------------
Looking Deeper:
As noted about, THREE PROMISES brings THE FIRESIDE INN, BONFIRE BEACH and LANTERN LAKE together into one novel-length book. The only difference I can find is that there is an Epilogue listed after the three novellas. that was not part of Lantern Lake.
-----------------------
Billionaire, Miles Harrington (Island Road), is getting married and has laid a wager to three of his fellow Billionaire friends. The prize? His custom helicopter and restricted access to the helipad at the Biltmore Club.

"I am betting that each of you will find the course of your life forever altered by your trip to Sanctuary Island. In fact, I'm wiling to bet each of you will find love there. -- Whoever is still single and unattached by the time I march down the aisle gets the helicopter."

Each friend is asked to help with the wedding process is some capacity, now they have 4 weeks on the island to make it happen.
-----------------------------
THE FIRESIDE INN - 4 stars
The Fireside Inn is the first of three novellas, featuring Leo. He has a way with words, thus he's been tasked to find or create the perfect reading for the ceremony. Leo will do anything to help make his friend's wedding perfect, but this task is going to be much more difficult than anyone can ever know.
Hoping to find a solution to his inconvenient problem, he goes to the island's public library. There, he meets Serena. Her vitality and passion for books intrigue him. He presents her with a proposition: Help him find a passage for the reading & he'll supply a donation to fund the struggling library for a full year.
-------------------------------------------
BONFIRE BEACH - 4 stars
Bonfire Beach is the second novella in the series.
Zane is the billionaire playboy entertainment mogul of the three bachelors. He's all about the party and fun times, but that's only on the surface and only as a result of some deep-seeded childhood guilt and trauma. He's been tasked with helping to make the reception party fun and memorable.
Felicity landed the slot of wedding planner and it's her first major gig for her new upstart business. Knowing this wedding could make or break her future in the business, she takes this job very serious. Too seriously, if Zane has anything to say about it. But the ideas coming from Zane absolutely horrify her. A disco ball and live heavy metal band? Fireworks? These two will have to work together to remember that the event should be a reflection of the newlyweds and find a compromise that suits them all.
------------------------------------------
LANTERN LAKE - 5 stars
This is the third book to the trilogy series.
Leo (The Fireside Inn) and Zane (Bonfire Beach) are already deeply entranced by ladies on the island, but Miles knows he's going to have to get crafty with Cooper.
Ten years ago, Cooper was left "standing at the alter" by the love of his life. He's harbored some serious anger issues towards her since.
Vivian, a longtime childhood friend of Miles, left the only man she loved to appease her controlling parents & entered into a loveless marriage that left her with nothing.
Now, face-to-face, emotions run high. Situations are reversed. Revenge and guilt are nearly overwhelming.
Will Cooper win the wager and walk away with Miles's helicopter? Or did Mile's carefully orchestrated setup pay off?
---------------------------------------------
EPILOGUE
A nice way to wrap the trilogy and see how things are going with the couples in the above-mentioned stories. Each novella provided a heart-warming, comfy contemporary romance. The characters are very likable & the interactions are very feel-good. The novellas sort of need to be read in order, as Miles' bet is the catalyst of sorts for these stories. Ms. Everett's writing style is comfy and cozy, but not shallow.... the fluidity is smooth as melted chocolate. A pleasure to read.

I love the Sanctuary Island series by Lily Everett, and in Three Promises, the author returns to Sanctuary Island in the Billionaire Bachelors series. Although all of the books can be read as a stand alone, it is highly recommended by me to read the entire series. Lily Everett has great character development, and I love seeing the characters from previous books reappear.

Three Promises is actually 3 novellas....Fireside Inn, Bonfire Beach and Lantern Lake. The book starts with Miles Harrington meeting with Leo, Zane and Cooper. They meet Miles at The Biltmore Club, where Miles announces his plans to marry Greta...a woman he met on Sanctuary Island (Island Road...book 3 of the Billionaire Brothers Series). Miles asks each of his friends to do specific tasks for his wedding. Of course, they can't say no to him, and agree to go to Sanctuary Island for the wedding. During their conversation, the fact that Miles has his own helicopter and exclusive access to landing on the roof of The Biltmore is mentioned. Miles decides to make a bet with the three bachelors...go to Sanctuary Island and they will find love before he says I do to Greta. If anyone is still single and doesn't find love, Miles agrees to give that person his helicopter and landing privileges at the Biltmore. Of course, the 3 bachelors think this is a sure thing...one of them will definitely win the bet! What they don't realize is that Sanctuary Island seems to be the one place guaranteed to find love!

Fireside Inn is the story of Leo and Serena. The chemistry is definitely there between these two characters right from the start!! Leo needs help in finding something to read at Miles wedding, and turns to Serena because she's the librarian. Both characters are reserved, but seem to read each other completely. As their story unfolds, a secret that initially comes between them ends up bringing them together.

Bonfire Beach is the story of Zane and Felicity. Both are tasked in planning the wedding, which is how they meet. Zane is determined to make it a party, and Felicity wants to give the bride-to-be the beach wedding she so desires. They are constantly butting heads in the beginning, but eventually work together. I absolutely love the whole opposites attract dynamic between these two characters!!

Lantern Lake is the story of Cooper and Vivian. Their story just happens to be my favorite of the three men. Cooper and Vivian have a history...one that ended abruptly ten years earlier. While Cooper is still angry and just wants to move on, Vivian is still nursing her broken heart. There are a lot of unanswered questions that finally get answered. I love any stories that involve second chances, and this one is beautifully written. My only regret is that it honestly would have made a great full length novel!

I would definitely recommend this book! Lily Everett always has great characters, great storylines, and great story and character development. As I mentioned earlier, this can be read as a stand alone. However, I would highly recommend the entire series, starting with the Sanctuary Island series, The Billionaire Brothers series and The Billionaire Bachelors series.

I received an advance copy of this book from. St Martin's Press and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a collection of three novellas taking place on Sanctuary Island, written in the same time frame, and that compliment each other. These stories were previously published individually, but now they are in one collection. Plus, this collection has a brief introduction in the beginning, setting up the trio of love stories, and a short epilogue at the end wrapping up this love fest. This collection was great for me, as I had not read any of these stories before, so this was the perfect format to have them all in one place.

The Fireside Inn
I found this to be a surprisingly thoughtful and touching story. Leo, billionaire son of a Duke, has been requested to do a reading at his friend Miles' wedding, which leads him to seeking the assistance of the local librarian, who happens to be sweet Serena. What starts as a simple request for help turns into a simple love affair that turns into something much more complicated. As hearts are changed, the deep secret Leo holds tightly to eventually must come out, and it's up to Serena if she will be able to cope with heartbeak, or break down and see what's sitting right in front of her. I really enjoyed this story. I was moved by Leo's current predicament, his loveless upbringing, and his hollow childhood. He was charming and suave, but layered with insecurity and self-deprication. I loved how he was finally able to open up. Serena was such a delight to read. Her enthusiasm as a librarian was contagious. Her passion and tenderness was fun. And the way she and Leo finally broke down each other's barriers was wonderful. They were a lovely match for each other and just the compliment the other needed.

Bonfire Beach
Zane and Felicity are tasked with the planning and prepping of Miles' wedding reception. This might be an easy task if they didn't have such glaringly different opinions. But the real issue was Zane's heartbreaking past, and the catalyst for how his life has gone ever since. This was a touching story of two opposites coming together and finding so very much in common. Two walls coming down. And two hearts finally opening up to the possibility of love and future with someone else. Zane a Felicity were very sweet, and what a great couple they made.

Lantern Lake
Cooper and Vivian's story was a real kicker. In this story, we don't get two strangers. We get two broken hearts with a history with one another. Two soulmates who've been apart for far too long. Two people who've had a lot happen in the between years, a lot of growing up, a lot of finding themselves. And in this second chance love story, we find out how deep that love was and what lengths they'll go to in order to understand one another, forgive one another, and see if there is enough left between them to finally get their happy ever after. Cooper and Vivian's story was a great end to this trio of love.

Story #1 Originally published as The Fireside Inn

I've loved the Sanctuary Island series since reading the very first novella.

I loved Leo, Zane and Cooper from the moment we met them. I was super excited to get Leo's story first, as I knew there was something behind his concern of picking out the perfect passage to read at Miles' wedding. I knew he had met his match as soon as he walked into the library and meet Serena. The attraction between them was there from the very beginning, yet Serena was hesitant because she had been used by hot men before because of her brain.

Serena and Leo worked as a couple for me. I loved their connection and how protective Serena was of Leo even when he messed up royally. He does know how to prove he is sorry in the most romantic way. The poem from the wedding is so beautiful and I loved how he was speaking to Serena the entire time he was reciting it.

Story #2 Originally published as Bonfire Beach

I'm a huge fan of Lily Everett and want to go visit Sanctuary Island...especially if Zane is there.

I loved Zane and Felicity as a couple. They seem to be so opposite to one another, yet worked so well for me. Zane is pretty free spirited and Felicity is pretty by-the-book, each because of something from their past. The chemistry was amazing between the two of them and I was cheering for them to find a way to get past their differences.

There were a couple of emotional, tissue required scenes for me in this book, as well as many laugh out loud funny scenes. I loved the romance of this book, even when Zane was turning up his nose at the very idea of romance. I love books that pull many emotions from me, and Ms. Everett totally delivered with this book.

Story #3 Originally published as Lantern Lake

I've loved watching each of the billionaire bachelors fall in love. I wondered as I read the first 2, who Cooper might meet on island, and loved that Miles and Greta had Vivian, who happens to be Cooper's one and only love, be in the wedding. While Cooper's idea of revenge seemed harsh, even knowing Vivian had left him with no notice, I loved how quickly it backfired on him.

I loved the connection between Cooper and Vivian from the moment they saw one another again. I knew their history could be a major stumbling block to getting back together. Cooper was still angry at Vivian when they first met again, and she was totally and completely eaten up with guilt. Watching them build a new and stronger relationship was both sweet and painful as Vivian revealed what had gone on while they were apart.

I really loved all 3 of the billionaire bachelors and especially loved watching them fall head over heels in love. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Sanctuary Island very soon.

These charming contemporary romances give glimpses of three very different men who are driven to succeed yet have significant handicaps that form chinks in their armor. The unifying element of their friend’s wedding along with an island that has evidently exerted its influence on multiple budding romances bestow a wonderfully romantic background on tales that celebrate love triumphing over all obstacles. I had no trouble reading and enjoying these stories despite being unfamiliar with the main series. The breadth of challenges faced give a nice opportunity to see how each main character has grown and allows them to show both vulnerability and strength, and keeps each of the men from being cookie-cutter billionaires. I think I was most enchanted by Leo and his journey, despite the fact that his romantic interest was such a cliché, but that is probably because I identify with her rabid championship of the books in her care, lol. This was a fun, light read, and I plan to look for the other books in the series that underscore the magic to be found on Sanctuary Island.

“Three Promises” by Lily Everett is a collection of three novellas which are part of the ‘Billionaire Bachelors’ series, centering around three men who have been invited to Sanctuary Island to attend the wedding of Miles Harrington. They each are assigned tasks according to their nature, but will they win the challenge with Miles that pits his beloved custom helicopter against their hearts, or will each succumb to the magic of the island?

“The Fireside Inn” tells of Leo Strathairn’s search for the perfect love poem to read at the wedding, complicated by his long-held secret. Librarian Serena Lightfoot wonders if the prickly gentleman is going to be the answer to her prayers asking for a way to keep her library funded, but she never dreams that he is going to make her face her worst nightmare, which is only fair, since she returns the favor.

“Bonfire Beach” details the tug of war between wedding planner Felicity Carlson and Zane Bishop, who is supposed to use his considerable savvy to plan the execution of the wedding and reception. The only problem is that Felicity knows the bride really wants to use the beach and Zane refuses to step foot on it.

“Lantern Lake” follows Cooper Hayes as he deals with the return of Vivian Banks, the woman who broke his heart, leaving him standing at the altar. His decision to assuage his persistent disappointment with her by giving in to the passion between them is challenged by his insistent need to help her as she struggles with the negative repercussions of heinous actions by others.

This book is a basically three novellas packaged together into one. They are sweet, clean romances that tug at the heartstrings.

Miles Harrington is getting married. He ropes his three protégés, Leo, Zane and Cooper into being part of the wedding, luring them to Sanctuary Island with a bet that their lives would be forever altered by the trip, and that each would find love.

The Fireside Inn

“You taught me to read the secret language of your heart.”

Leo has been tasked with finding a reading about love to recite at the wedding. His first port of call is the local library where he meets Serena. Serena has always been unlucky in love – men pretending to like her so they can take advantage of her brain. However, Leo happily admits that he wants her knowledge, as well as her body, but he’s hiding a secret. The fact he has a secret and has lied by omission may ruin his chances of a future with Serena.

Bonfire Beach

“You wanted romance. And I wanted to give it to you.”

Felicity and Zane are opposites. She is serious-minded and doesn’t let herself go enough to have fun. He is all about the fun and doesn’t let himself get too serious. Both have lived through traumatic events in their lives, which shaped the people they are now. They acknowledge their attraction but is there a future for them after they’ve finished organising the wedding of the century?

Lantern Lake

“The first moment I saw you again…it all came rushing back to me.”

Cooper and Vivian were once in love and on the verge of marriage. Ten years later, they are estranged but their desire for the other burns just as brightly. Cooper sets out to take sweet revenge on Vivian who turned her back on him, thinking that after one night with her, he can finally be free. However, he finds that he can’t leave her. As the days pass and they fix up the cabin she bought, they start finding their way back to each other, but can Cooper let the past go to find true happiness with Vivian?

Three stories about a group of billionaires who agree to go to Sanctuary Island to win a bet and get the personal helicopter of another billionaire. When Miles Harrington (from the Billionaire Brothers series)tells his friends he will be getting married on Sanctuary Island they all make snarky remarks and Miles ends up challenging them o come to the island and resist its healing charms.
In the first story, Leo is tasked with finding the perfect reading for the ceremony. Leo has a secret that makes this request a huge issue. When he decides to seduce Serena Lightfoot, the island librarian, to get her help, he doesn't realize how deep his feeling will be involved. Serena has been used before for her brain, and when she finds out the truth, all heck breaks loose.

The second story is about Zane Bishop, a billionaire nightclub owner gets involved in the wedding planning, he disrupts the tasteful and elegant affair that Felicity Carlson has begun arranging. Felicity is hoping to get her business off the ground with this wedding and doesn't appreciate Zane's irreverent attitude. Just like Leo, Zane has a big secret that becomes an issue when he and Felicity start to click.

The last story is one of lost loves reuniting. When Cooper Hayes turns to see the bridesmaid he is walking down the aisle with, he is shocked to see his one time love Vivian Banks. Vivian left him standing at the registry office and he has never forgiven her. He wasn't wealthy like her family and now that he has billions he realizes he ca finally get his revenge. Vivian, is reeling form a terrible marriage and shocking betrayal by her family. Little does Cooper know, he has all the power in this situation.

I loved these stories just as much as the original series. All three have a minimum of spice in them but they are great reads. The couples have a tough road to their HEA and it makes the endings so much more satisfactory.

the first thing I should mention is that hopefully anyone seeing this trilogy will realize that it is NOT new materiel except for the few pages of epilogue that kind of closes a couple of open threads.

Now with that out of the way let me say that if you have NOT read this trilogy of novellas then you are in for a treat, it is light and fulfilling stories that warm the heart and have just enough serious plots to them to keep them from being total "chic lit" and decent romantic drama with heartfelt emotion.

In case you have any doubts, I have read EVERY story she has written using the Sanctuary Island setting (that is 6 novellas and 4 novels I think without looking) and if you read my reviews you know that contemporary romance is not my chosen genre. These are good stories and when I need a break from my more paranormal and action oriented books, these are what i like to read.

Bottom line: Highly recommended reading when you like something with a bit of drama but leaves you with a warm feeling. The "Billionaire" tag really adds or takes away nothing and could just about as well been about 3 well read plumbers :) 4 Stars and highly recommended reading.

Leo, Zane, and Cooper are all bachelors and have past that seem to haunt them and they are more then happy remaining single. When Miles there really good friend is getting married and they all enjoy teasing him oh to much about it. When Miles make a bet with the three of them they are all to happy to take the bet knowing they will win and he will loose something precious to him. So off to the islands they go to help Miles as requested with the wedding and win the bet in the process. But what they didn't expect is Miles has other plans and knows that he will win the bet or at least he hopes so.
This book is 3 books in one, usually I am not to keen on books like that being they are not tied together however these are all tied to together and put together nicely. I likes how the other chose to keep them separate instead of writing one book with to many characters to keep track of. I love the stories of each one of the guys, they all have a past they are running from and some are forced to confront the past in order to help. The stories don't leave you wondering what happens and is tied up perfectly at the end. This book is well worth the read.

4 STARS
This is a reissue with a new epilogue, but I have not read them before.
This has three novellas in one story. Miles Harrington is getting married on Sanctuary Island. He wants all three of his young friends to have the magic of Sanctuary Island. So he has challenged them to a bet that before they are done they will find love too. Miles has given them each a job to help with the wedding. The one who wins the bet gets his custom helicopter and access to the roof of the Biltmore club.

Even though they are all Billionaires they have problems too. Cooper gets to plan the honeymoon. Leo gets to find the perfect reading for the wedding. Zane the wedding reception.

It is fun to see them fall in love and not to get there way. Lots of drama, romance as they plan there part of the wedding. We do get to see the characters from previous books but just minor. For shorter stories they are good. Some sex scenes. Pretty scenery. light and fun to read.

I was given this ebook from NetGalley and St. Martin's Press. In return I agreed to give a honest review.

I like Lily Everett's books. This story is condensed from three books. I read them awhile back so it was good to visit with old friends. Miles is marrying Greta His friends are to come and they make a bet to win his helicopter. Leo is to give a reading. He is terrified. Major Spoiler. He asks the librarian to help him. She falls for him and he is an Earl. Spoilers! Zane owns a Party Co. Felicity is to prepare the reception. She wants the beach. He vetoes it. Then he tells her why. Spoilers! Cooper travels the World and is in charge of the Honeymoon. He runs into an old love who dumped him. He didn't even know why. Her husband joined a money account business and sucks the money away. She is destitute. He finally finds out what happened. Spoilers! I love Lily's serial stories. They get you right in the midsection! I hope you would like to read this book. Enjoy reading your story! I have this book for an honest review for NetGalley.

I received an ARC from the Publisher and NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

"Three Promises" is a compilation of the first 3 Novella's in the Sanctuary Island series. If you are expecting to read new stories you will be disappointed. I enjoyed reading Three Promises and the love stories of Miles friends. Zane, Leo and Cooper. The author did provide a little new material that helps the reader tie all the individual stories together and how Miles friends all fell in love on Sanctuary Island when they were asked to be Groomsmen at his wedding.

A light and entertaining read for readers of the romanctic romp genre.

no one talks the way the characters in this novel (especially Miles) do in this book. I was willing to buy the dialogue but then I met the characters- I found this so implausible! What is it with romance authors who think a lonely librarian will end up in deep romantic kisses with an incredibly handsome man within an hour (or whatever) of meeting him? I tried each of the three segments - which I now understand are previously published novellas. I liked the women (especially Felicity) but for whatever reason, I just did not like this book. Thanks NETGALLEY for the ARC.

As we return to Sanctuary Island for Miles wedding, he bets Zane, Leo and Cooper that they will fall in love. The three love stories center on the wedding and three lovely ladies that live on the island. Well written and slightly predictable this is an easy enjoyable read. I haven't read the previous books in the series and had no problems with the stories. I'd love to visit Sanctuary Island and enjoy the calming, soothing beaches.

Three promises

Miles is getting married, he makes a bet to his three friends that are bachelors. They have been set up with women to help with the wedding. If they don't fall in love he will give them a helicopter. This is three separate stories that involves each bachelor. I was given a copy from netgalley for a honest review. Enjoyed the book. Who will win the bet?

I am quite a Lily Everett fan, and believe everything she writes is great! This book follows through on what the earlier books in the series deliver. I liked the characters in this one, enjoyed the storyline, and thought that she presented it all in a wonderful setting! Miles is a great character!

This was the first book by Lily Everett I had read, but I will definitely be interested in reading more by her. I enjoyed her writing style a lot.

I have to mention: This is not the first book in the Billionaire Bachelor series, but is a combination of three novellas previously released.
