06/05/2016: Ok, I collected my thoughts and I think I'm ready to give my opinion on this one. Final verdict: 3 STARS.
Now, before anyone starts throwing stones at me, let me tell you that it hurts me more than you to give this rating to a SK book. However, after the last CON books, there are some things I cannot get past anymore. It's one thing to leave your reader mildly confused and wondering what you mean because they are consumed by the mistery. It's an entirely different thing to make your readers feel stupid because they do not understand what's happening and feel like they missed a book between this one and the one before. And that's how I felt while reading most of this book.
First of all, you cannot drop bombs in the first two pages of the book and pretend like nothing happened. You cannot take for granted that the reader will connect the dots and fill in the blanks and then act like if it's the most natural thing in the world. And yes, I'm refering to the fact that
Following that thought, the genealogy on this book got too much confusing. I had to literally take a stack of post-its to take notes of what I was reading along with the journal I was writing on to make this review. If I have to take notes like I'm studying to read a book, dear author, you're not doing it right. When I come to a SK book, I expect it to be a fun time, not a chore; not like I'm writing a paper on the genealogy of the Summerian pantheon or whatever. While this info-dump on ancestry gave many answers to questions I hadn't even asked, the problem remains in that it's basically info-dump. SHOW, DO NOT TELL. AND THE EYE OF ANANKE DOES NOT COUNT AS "SHOWING".
Next point, the characters. Surprise, Nekoda is still here, I still do not know why because she literally adds nothing to the story, and oh, yes, now I cannot get rid of her because she's predestined to meet Nick across time because timey-wimey-reencarnation-thingy . Yes, you can see I do not like her. I have never considered myself a hater of anything, but Nekoda is one of those characters that baffle me. If I cannot find a reason to think of her as interesting after 7 books, gurl, you're not it. Next in line is Nick. I like Nick, I get it that everything that is happening to him is more than he can take and he resorts to sarcasm and awkwardness, but it's been 7 books. You're almost 18, I think? Boy, take something seriously. I always say the same because I still hope that SK will give me that Nick in the next book, but I better just keep hoping. Also, his obsession and posessivenes towards Nekoda is not pretty nor romantic. Your woman? Your girl? You're a teenager, and you already think of women as your posession, way to go Nick.
This book relies heavily on secondary characters, through who we discover all this mess of genealogy that I cannot keep track of. That's good and bad. Good because it gives depth to the characters, we can connect with them and finally care for them. It's bad because that's basically the whole book. There is no distinct plot, nothing that really compels the reader to keep reading except be done with the book. If you like character-driven stories and can really keep track of SK's mythology, you're gonna love this book. But if you like some story mixed with that, this book is going to frustrate you.
I'm giving this book three stars instead of two for 2 main reasons: First, it's the guest starring of classics such as Kyrian and Acheron. I actually think that we did not need a whole flashback for Kyrian's story. We've been told that tale a thousand times in both series, DH and CON; repeating it just takes space away from more important matters...like a proper plot. However, any book that has any classic DH, and specially Acheron (because Acheron is my bae no matter what), gets an extra point from me. I'm that lame.
The second reason is the epilogue. Let's put this out there, the only real piece of story worth in this book (apart from all the info-dump that could have been done better) is the epilogue. The epilogue is the only reason I'm still craving for the next book. The book left me so numb and overwhelmed at the same time that even the Dark Hunter progenie that makes an appearance here could not shake my from my stupor. BUT THE EPILOGUE IS LIFE!
So, would I recommend this book? Well, if you're invested in this series and in the Dark Hunter Series, well, yes. I would. It's not a terrible book, I'm just a bit disappointed because SK has me used to a different type of story. So yes. Even though my review is a little ranty, all over the place, and the rating is not that great, I think people will still enjoy this book and have their minds blown with the pieces of information that SK gave us here.

EDIT 16/02/2016: I made my preorder the other day. AND NOW THEY'VE PUSHED BACK THE BOOK A MONTH. I'M NOT HAPPY.
EDIT: HABEMUS COVER, YAY! It's messing with my OCD that the title and symbol is not centered, but the cover is prettyyyyy.
Instinct hasn't even come out yet and I already need this one.

I did not understand this book.I was totally into the whole series in the beginning but now I'm just confused with all this information dump and names I just can't keep up with. Everyone's related to each other, everyone is some form of demon or hunter like seriously is ANYONE normal. I was upset because SPOILER seven books in and we find out Nick isn't going to destroy the world, yay...but his son is. I don't need another malachai and the new kid- Nathan, I'm convinced it's him and it's making me mad. I skimmed this book, and even then I feel like i got the main gist of the story, bring on the next book, I really don't care

Como todas las fuerzas malignas que vienen detras de Nick, lo menos que espera es que Aeron desaparezca y el saber que el alma de Zavid esta atrapada otra vez en el inframundo. Y si eso no fuera poco, hay algo nuevo que esta drenandole los poderes, y eso los pone en la peor situacion posible. Ahora, el y sus amigos deben encontrar la manera de liberar a Aeron y Zavid de la prision donde estan, y buscar la forma de evitar que sus poderes vuelvan a desaparecer.
Pero mientras busca la respuesta, encontrara nuevos amigos, conocera un nuevo futuro, y aprendera que no solo su vida y la de los seres que mas ama esta en peligo, sino tambien la de sus hijos y los hijos de sus amigos.
Pronto vendra la lucha final, sera Nick capaz de deterner a quien sea que esta detras de todo esto? Evitara convertirse en el Malachi que todos temen? o se convertira en otra cosa?
Este hasta ahora, ha sido el libro que mas desarrollo ha tenido en la trama, si obviamos la brincadera en el tiempo, la cantidad de personas, panteones, demonios y definiciones nuevas, esto podria ser el libro con mas avances que he leido hasta ahora. Aqui conocemos un par mas de "guerreros" malditos, compañeros de Aeron, ademas de "conocer" a algunos de los futuros hijos de ellos, pero tambien nos platemos el tema de quien mas esta alterando el tiempo, de donde salio ese nuevo "hijo" de Nick del que nadie sabe nada, y nos dicen, por fin, quien es el hermano de Nick, que no podia ser Malachi.
Sin embargo, siento que la trama en vez de aclararse, se oscurecio mas, todavia no entiendo a donde quiere llegar el autor con esta serie, quiere que Nick se convierta en el Malachi bueno? o quiere que se elimine la maldicion de los Malachi? quiere que se restablezca el equilibro entre el bien y el mal? o quiere que triunfe el bien? Que va a pasar con esta cantidad de personajes que esta agregando ahora? Va a haber otro spin-off pero con demonios?
En fin, todavia queda muchos puntos abiertos, y muchas dudas que responder, asi que voy con el ultimo libro de esta serie, esperando que al final, se aclaren la mayoria.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I mean, I love Sherrilyn Kenyon's books, but lately I feel I can no longer keep up with them. This book is full of information and sometimes I didn't know if all that the author was telling me was something she had written in a previous book or perhaps it was a new thing I couldn't remember at all, I think part of the problem is that each book comes with a year apart. Another thing that drove me out of orbit, was to keep up with all the characters, are sooo many and at this point, I need a family tree to find out who is the cousin's uncle's brother Nick's grandfather. Really!
While I enjoyed reading Invision, because there are many surprises along its pages; I have admit that I feel we didn't got anywhere with this novel. As if Kenyon told us much but the story itself, the great life story of Nick doesn't seem to go anywhere, as if he had solved nothing. And I really think it's time Kenyon, have Nick matures a bit. I love that he has a very relaxed personality, however, sometimes I felt it was too much, and even how some of the characters interact with each other made me think of teenagers rather than warriors with hundreds of years of age.
Although InVision is much better than Instinct, it fails to stand out. Just leave a deep desire for the next book, but not because all of this was wonderful in itself, but because the end is too open and as a fan of the series, it's logical I wanna know how it ends, but honestly, I hope Kenyon do something for this series shine, because otherwise, it will pass unnoticed.

No estoy segura de cómo siento respecto a este libro. Es decir, amo los libros de Sherrilyn Kenyon, pero últimamente siento que ya no puedo seguirles el ritmo. Este libro está lleno de info y en ocasiones no sabía si todo lo que la autora me estaba diciendo era algo que ella ya había escrito en un libro previo, o si acaso era un dato nuevo que me estaba soltado así como así. Creo que parte del problema es que cada libro sale con un año de diferencia. Otra cosa que me sacaba de órbita, era seguirle el ritmo a todos los personajes, son tantos ya, que a estas alturas, necesito un árbol genealógico para poder saber quién es el primo del tío del hermano del abuelo de Nick.
Aunque disfruté leer Invisión, porque hay muchas sorpresas a lo largo de sus páginas; también debo reconocer que siento que no llegamos a ningún lado con esta novela. Como que la autora nos dijo tanto pero la historia en sí, la gran historia de vida de Nick no parece ir a ningún lado, como si no se hubiera solucionado nada. Y realmente creo que ya es momento que Kenyon haga que Nick madure un poco. Me encanta que él tenga una personalidad muy relajada, sin embargo, a veces sentía que era demasiado, e incluso, la manera en que algunos de los personajes interactúan entre sí, me hacía pensar en adolescentes en lugar de guerreros con cientos de años de edad.
Aunque Invisión es mucho mejor que Instinct, no logra destacar. Sólo deja un profundo deseo por el siguiente libro, pero no porque todo ésto sea maravilloso en sí, sino porque ese final es demasiado abierto y como fan de la serie, es lógico que desee saber cómo acaba todo, pero honestamente, espero que la autora haga algo para que esta serie brille, porque de lo contrario, pasará sin pena ni gloria.

This was a pretty good installment of the Chronicles of Nick series. If you loved the dark hunter series and Sherrilyn Kenyon or supernatural stories, definitely check this series out. It is recommended that you read Infinity and the rest of the series before you read this one. It is available at your local library and wherever books are sold.

This book is all over the place. It has multiple information dumps as if the author needed to fill in the empty spaces of the story, so she decides to give us every character's back story all in one book. The repeated flashbacks were tedious. The words "filler book" seem to be appropriate, but let's face it...this series is the one that won't end. Even Rowling stopped at 7 books.
It is odd that she chose to give some major information about characters who really have more of a role in her adult series than her YA series in the confines of the YA book. (Though I'm sure her adult fans read both.) This has always concerned me. Young readers who want to know more about these characters will naturally be led to the adult books which are steamy romances that discuss what grown ups do with other grown ups and not what a younger YA crowd should be reading.

This is definitely my least favorite in the series so far. The plot didn't progress much at all. The author decided now was the time to info dump all of the different types of beings and how they're all interrelated to each other which was too much. And Nick's characterization changed a ton for the worse. He was raised by strong women who instilled in him an enormous amount of respect for women, but now he views them as "his woman" or "his girl", and it doesn't sit right. I hope he gets an attitude adjustment and the books start coming with relevant family trees and an encyclopedia of supernatural beings.

Ok so this installment gave some great background on some of the main demon characters of the series, but this ending has my head reeling. I have to see how this plays out but I am a tad hesitant because of the reviews on the next (and final) book. A lot of disappointment by readers but will obviously go ahead and read it since reviews never stopped me before. I think the reveal on Caleb’s family connection to Nick was probably my favorite part of this book, and though it had some battles I was not as into them as I was the revealing of some of the demons’ pasts.
My quick and simple overall: a good installment that covers more of characters. Now on to the final book!

I have said before and I will say again, I love these characters and this world so much. And this book was no exception. We saw Ash, Simi, Styxx and Kyrian and it made me so happy. Also we got to see Nick and all his squad, whom I've grown to love.
I love being inside Nick's head, he's so sarcastic and funny. But my favorite is Caleb, the more I know about him, the more in love I am.
I loved all the flashbacks in this book, also the flashfowards. I love seeing our character's pasts and their kids in the future. I just wish they would have been happy instead of in a warzone.
One thing I hate about this is that with so many characters and mythologies and everything I get confused. Sometimes a name is mentioned and I know I've heard about that character before but I can't just keep track of them all. It's so confusing. After a while I catch up, but really. It's really confusing.
The spoiler, more than my opinion is details I'm sure I will forget and I think they are important for the next book. Feel free to read them, but they are more notes than part of this review.

OMG, my head is spinning, don’t know which way is up or down, I feel like I’m on some funky acid trip right now. That is the only way I can sum up Invision by Sherrilyn Kenyon for you. It’s a wild, crazy, information overload adventure filled with our favourite characters and Kenyon’s overly imaginative mind. My note taking skills were seriously put to task in this one. In true Kenyon fashion she continues her CON series by answering questions from the past book, creating new questions and dropping bombs on us we don’t see coming. These bombs leave our head spinning, jaw hanging open, and in the words of Achmed the Dead Terrorist yelling out Holy Crap!!! I don’t know how many times I said that, along with my other favourites I tend to shout out; ‘No way!, Oh come on, seriously???? I thought my jaw was going to come unhinged by books end from all the shock factor she generates in Invision. However, as much as Kenyon drove me crazy and made me feel like this book should’ve been longer for all the information she tossed my way, I did love this addition to her CON series. There was never a dull moment in this one.
Speaking of which, the information comes at us fast and furious and there really are moments when you will find yourself re-reading a paragraph or page 2 or 3 times to make sure you read that right. The bombs Kenyon drops on us are mind-boggling and you’ll just have to read this one to find out what they are, because as you all know I don’t like to spoil plot lines and those types of reveals. I prefer to let you experience those reveals as I did, and enjoy Kenyon’s gift for wowing the audience. Some of these bomb drops include;
-learning more about Cherise and Kody and just what they mean to Nick and his Malachai
-the reveal of Xev and Caleb’s dad and their connection to Nick, yes Xev and Caleb are half siblings
-the reveal of who Jared’s parents are and his connection to Nick
-the reveal of Xev’s mom
-we finally learn just who and what Verlyn is
-Nick’s connection to M’adoc the Dream warrior, and what it would mean should Nick fall before having a son
-Apollymi’s brother is…thus connecting her to her Nick as well
These reveals left me shocked and sputtering and needing to remember to breath!!!! One event Kenyon finally explains and I don’t feel I’m spoiling anything for you if I tell is how the first Malachai – Monakribos came into existence. It’s no wonder the Malachai is one pissed off preternatural being. Monakribos was in love with Rhubati, but he was tricked into killing her by Grimm and Laguerre because they drugged him. Once the drugs wore off, he saw what he’d done and went crazy, took her blood and painted the Malachai symbols on his body and using magic damned all the world and everyone in it to hell until they fixed the wrong done to him. Hell I’d be pissed too if that was done to me, and you can’t help but feel for the guy and see where he’s coming from. We also learn that from Rhubati’s death Bathymaas springs forth from her body at the moment, but is a shell of Rhubati because she’s missing her heart. It’s not until Bethany is reborn from Bathymaas, and Styxx falls in love with her giving her back her heart that Rhubati is finally complete. So this is why Kody has felt connected to Nick from the very beginning of the series.
We also learn more about the Eye of Ananke and just what it does. It shows you the ‘why of the matter or person’ and it can’t lie or distort the truth. What you see has either happened or will come into being. Thanks to the eye Nick keeps having these visions of events past(Monakribos/Rhubati), and events to come. With events to come Kenyon launches us into the far future where we meet everyone’s grown kids; Kyrian’s, Nick’s, Simi’s, etc, all doing battle against the Malachai Ciprian. Ciprian has freed Noir and Azuza by opening the Gates to Azmodea, and we also learn that Simi’s son Lucien is in love with Nick’s daughter Charity, but never find out who the father of Simi’s kids are because Kody says it would’ve altered the future if Nick had learned that tidbit. Now I really want to know that answer, but in true Kenyon form she doesn’t speak of it again, arrrrr, so frustrating!!!! I guess we just keep reading the series. By books end another bombshell is dropped as we learn Ciprian is Nick’s kid as well, but I was completely stunned and pissed off by the reveal of his mother. There’s no way Nick would get together with this female if she were the last female standing. I’m thinking he had to have been tricked like Monakribos was before becoming the Malachai. I really wish the next book were released already. Why must Kenyon make me wait another year to find out more about this reveal and everything else she dropped on my head in Invision.
Oops, before I forget, one little tidbit we find out that is funny, but answers a few questions about our zombie hunting fave Bubba, his dad is actually a former Hellchaser, but that part of Bubba’s blood is dormant and his father never told him about it, but feels guilty because one of his dad’s enemies is the one responsible for Bubba’s wife and son’s death. His dad feels guilty over it and keeps a close watch on his son now. No wonder Nick and Bubba hit it off so well and why Bubba is attracted to Nick’s mom. Yes, once again the plot thickens. No wonder the guy is a little cooky, but we love him all the same. That part of the book had me howling with laughter along with many others parts of Invision.
As I said at the beginning of my review, I felt like I was on some crazy acid trip by the time I was finished this one. Invision is everything you come to expect from a Kenyon novel; well developed characters you can’t help but come to love, humour and sarcasm in bundles, twists and turns you never see coming, and reveals about characters that leave you stunned speechless, or yelling like a loon at you Kobo e-reader. I don’t know how Kenyon plans to pull everything together past, present and future by the time this series ends, and we get Nick’s adult DH book, but one thing we can count on, we’ll be in for a wild ride to get there. For all you Menyon and CON fans out there Invision is a must read and great installment to the series.

Nick is feeling a little overwhelmed with all the possible futures he can see through the newly acquired Eye. When his powers start draining, he and his friends must figure out who is responsible. They are forced to ask for help from unlikely sources. When Nick travels forward in time to try to contact Ambrose, he is faced with a future that is even more horrific than he was led to believe. It brings more questions than answers.
I think I liked this book the best so far. The Eye gave him the power to see things in the past and future, but I like that Nick has begun to question whether or not he should try to change what is going to happen. Sometimes it is better not knowing and just making the best decision you can at that moment. Unfortunately, by the time Nick has begun to wonder about this, he has already gone forward in time and the questions raised by what he sees can't help but tempt you to keep reading the series. It might be a little while before I can get the next book, but it's definitely going on my list.

I love this series and I can't wait for her next Dark-Hunter book to come out.... I love everything that she writes and she's one of my favorite authors aside from J.R. Ward, Lara Adrian and lots of other authors that I'm just discovering....I can't wait for the next on her Dark-Hunter series and I'll be waiting if there will be an 8th on her Chronicles of Nick series... I did enjoy reading this one....

Book 7: Sort ofs
(Spoilers Alert)
New kid Nathan comes to St. Richards. Not sure who this new kid is but Nick is getting bad vibes from him. Meanwhile his Sarras Nisiara, Dagon, and Aeron has disappeared.
We find out more about Grim, his powers, his past, and his hatred for Noir and Malachai. Noir captures Aeron, relishing absorbing the powers of the Malachai through his Sarra. However, it is short-lived. Nick falls ill with a fever and loss of his powers and Noir is weak soon after.
We meet Bubba's dad and discover he used to be a Hellchaser thus explaining Bubba's closeness to the preternatural but his blood is dormant. Caleb is attacked and Xev summons their father Jaden aka Verlyn to heal him. We find out Verlyn is the son of Chronos and Tiamet and Nick ask him to send him to the future to speak with Ambrose since obtaining the Eye of Ananke has done nothing to help him cause but give him migraines and more doubts. He is sent too far into the future and encounters his daughter Charity along with his comrades' children.
In this future, Nick isn't the last Malachai; could he have a son he doesn't know about? Xev is dead and Liv takes his Sarru-Dara title. The other original sarras are reinstated by the new Malachai Cyprian. He releases Noir/Azura and opens the gate to Azmodea. It doesn't mesh with Kody's memory of the future.
We learn the history of the Malachai, the beginning and all the sons after, however, we do not see what happens to the first. Verlyn tells what happened to him and Rubati; from their blood Bathymaas is made; from the first M's blood his son comes forth.
Something is draining Nick's powers. He's burning up and freezing cold. Meanwhile Nick's gang gets bigger and bigger. With Verlyn's help, he returns to Azmodea and breaks Aeron and Zavid out for Nick. Back at home, Nick is again framed, this time for murder. The worse thing for demons is getting in trouble with human authority like how Adarian was framed with mass murder for bodies that don't disappear but the souls remain, like the demon Div.
Nick meets Takeshi and learns about time jump. Sees that he hasn't strayed far from his fate but someone is messing with his future timeline. Possible reason, could Ambrose have suceeded? Can pith points be changed? From the last book we learn that it is difficult for M to trust his allies; he is always able to trust Ambrose, the ultimate question now is, can he still trust his future self?

Chronicles of Nick #7
I think I should have re-read the series or, at least, the previous book before I read this book because I was having trouble remembering what happened or who certain characters were. Sherrilyn Kenyon has written such a wonderfully complicated and complex series and has so much action packed into the books that I am having trouble keeping up with everything. Also, although this is a spinoff of the Dark-Hunter series, events have been changed because Nick has been forewarned about them by his future self so I get a little confused sometimes. And because I have read many books in the year since the last book came out, I just can’t remember everything. Besides stopping a few times to look up a few things, I loved this book.
I adore Nick with his Cajun drawl, smartass mouth, tacky Hawaiian shirts that his mom buys him and his loyalty and love for his friends and his mom. He cracks me up most of the time with all of his sarcastic remarks and his thoughts. He has such a heavy and dark load on his shoulders with trying to save the world from himself and all, yet he keeps a good or mostly good attitude towards life. He’s just an all-around great character.
A ton of stuff happened in this book. Let’s see if I can summarize it. Nick was devastated when his friend Zavid died in the last book but at the beginning of this book he discovered that Zavid was still alive in Azmodea, the underworld and, of course, he wants to go rescue him but he just can’t go march off and save his friend when he has to go to school and maintain the illusion of a normal teenage life. His mom has no clue that he is the Malachai demon or that his friends aren’t human or that his cat is really his great-grandfather and an ancient demon. He doesn’t think his mom could handle the truth so he hides it all from her. Plus, he is determined to beat his destiny and have a normal life.
Meanwhile, Noir is abducting all of Nick’s protectors which is making Nick weaker and Noir stronger. Dagon and Nashira went missing without Nick even noticing. He didn’t even realize anything was going on until Aeron disappeared. Nick starts feeling achy and sick which should mean that Noir is getting more powerful but when Jaden and Kaziel go to rescue Aeron and Zavid, they notice Noir is also weak. They are baffled. No being should be able to weaken the Malachai and Noir at the same time. They wonder if another Malachai is in play except there can only be one Malachai at a time.
As I mentioned, the plot and characters are complicated. I get so confused at who is related to whom so I started keeping a chart. I think I have most of it straight but I’m still not sure. I patched most of it together from this book. If you have not read the series, you won’t understand.

Jaden is Xev and Caleb’s father but they have different mothers.

Apollymi is Jaden’s sister.
I hope I didn’t get anything wrong. One of greatest loves in genealogy but my ancestors are all dead. They aren’t gods, demons, or immortals who have lived thousands and thousands of years and still look like they are in their teens or 20s.
Sherrilyn Kenyon never disappoints me. She is a literary genius and keeps me wanting for more with all her series and books. She is still my favorite author and will probably always be. It will be hard to wait for the next book in this series.

I’m getting kind of tired of these messed-up Chronicles. These guys are just too annoying. They’re teen-age, bumbling idiots, even the so-called grownups are strange. There’s too much angst. You’d think after all Nick has gone through he’d be a bit more mature and responsible, instead of whining all the time. If I didn't like the rest of the Dark Hunter’s series so much I’d probably drop it. At least it reads fast.
There’s not much real plot. Some people get lost then rescued. Some people are forgiven and reunited. Some people just run around trying to figure out what going on (Nick & friends). A few short good battles. That’s it. The only real series plot advancement I can see is the addition of a few new characters and a friend ‘might’ have been possessed. But something is still out to kill Nick and/or take his Malachai powers. Yawn.

Which is crazy since we who have been reading the series still have trouble understanding it.

Another Sherrilyn Kenyon series deteriorating to garbage. Last book, Cody was related to every fricking character that popped up--this book, Nick is suddenly related to every character, including characters from previous books WHERE THEY WERE NOT RELATED. Characters just keep getting piled on to the plot line, characters are referred to by multiple names, Nick is jumping around in time and the plot/story keeps being completely changed--it's just becoming a hot mess not worth the brain power it takes to try to untangle and decipher.
I read the books because I cared about the characters and their self-made family. They are turning into such over the top, over done comic book versions of what they were that I find they hold little interest for me.
At least for the audiobook version the narrator corrected all the horrendous english poofster accents he had given characters in the previous book. Unfortunately, he is now making Simi sound like Yoda.
...and if I hear "boyo" one more time i'll turn in to a homicidal demon.

Le pongo 5 estrellas porque la Sherry lo hizo de nuevo, me dejo con una jodida migraña con tanto enredo e información que pone.
Primero que todo, creo que Invision revela mucho de Jaden, así que nuestros rezos han sido escuchados; además que abre la puerta a lo que sería su libro en un futuro próximo, especialmente si es el encargado de cerrar con la segunda parte de la saga DH.
En fin, creo que este libro me dejo boquiabierta en muchas partes, es demasiado lo que nos da la Sherry, y cuando pensamos que Nick no puede pasarla peor, pues PUM, la pasa peor efectivamente.
Ese final es como: Dioses ¿Por qué?
Yo pensaba que estábamos lidiando con Nick siendo el destructor del mundo, pero nop, viene Sherry y nos cambia los papeles.
Me encanto porque tiene todo para explotar tu mente. Literalmente explotarla.

July 5, 2017To be honest, I don't remember a lot happening in this book. It felt like another intermediate chapter to stretch the series out.
Kenyon's writing is certainly getting better, or rather, she's becoming more comfortable writing Y/A. While I do think this has the best writing in the CON series thus far, the plot felt incomplete and was hard to follow. A lot of new names and ideas that are disorienting. This is most likely a case of "the manuscript was too long, so we cut it in half," which would explain the fairly short length of this novel. A lot of questions raised by the plot were left unanswered and over all it didn't have the action that the previous books had. There was a good amount of backstory revealed and the revelations made so I guess it worth reading.

Update- this was hilarious. I literally lLaughing aloud at some parts. I love the narrator, especially when he does Simis voice.

Hey guys, so I finally finished Invision (Chronicles of Nick, #7) by Sherrilyn Kenyon. And all i can say is WHAT?!?!?!?!??!?!!?!?!? THATS THE NAUGHTY PARTNER> ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Yeah, i nearly dropped the book. I think did smack it. That ending, I SWEAR. OKay...*takes a few deep breaths* besides that reaction, a lot of this book had me very confused, regarding all the timelines and blood relatives. Honestly i cant keep up anymore, its a struggle, really. Im just like "yeah....of course they are related" It honestly shouldnt even surprise me anymore to learn about origin stories and whatever. But i was really confused in this book, but i made myself just continue reading and not focus on the nitty gritty details and on the bigger picture And even then....speaking of origin stories, we learned ALOT about some of nick's friends, which was kinda cool, actually. They were always dancing around certain subjects so it was nice to read about how some things actually occurred. And of course, Nick was his great humorous and witty self. I just love him so much. THe story was pretty good, despite all my confusion. THough i thought the issues would be resolved more? NOt just lead to more questions, or just be dissolved like that? But whatever...maybe it was a bit rushed? Or maybe that was me?? Either way, it still had the same heart and soul of any Nick Novel. ANd i always love his friends, and family. HIs loyalty and strength never cease to amaze me. And his honor and his friends who are willing to die for him, literally. That always gets me a bit teary eyed. Anyway, i know im being very vague about the plot, but its because this far into the series, i cant have spoilers. If you want to know, read the book, or the first if you are interested in this series. It is really great. And yeah, it was a novel I enjoyed and I cant wait for the next one, thats going to be interesting. I may add more to my review later, but for now, ive probably rambled long enough. Engraçado como a autora decide fazer revelações importantíssimas, nesta série spin-off, a questões levantadas na série Dark-Hunter. Só por isso já vale a pena. Fiquei pasma quando: 1º, Jaden, o protagonista do 2º arc aparece inesperadamente neste livro e 2º, é revelada a sua ligação a Jared!, que me tem dado voltas à cabeça há tanto tempo. Estou parva com as ligações entre personagens reveladas em Invision.

So good!! It's been a while since I read the last book so I was worried I would forget things but this book did an awesome job at recapping what's going on with out actually saying what's going on.. if that makes sense.
I'm not going to write a full review right now because the book just came out today and I really don't want to give anything away. I will say that it kind of started out a little slowly. It picks up pretty fast and a lot of things happen that I totally did not see coming. I was constantly like "what the f*#&!" Oh and Jaden was in it!!! I have been obsessed with him for awhile now and I finally got to learn a lot about him! I can't even explain how excited I was by that. That made the whole freaking book for me.
And that ending!!! ahhh. Im talking like the last 5 sentences of the book. Blew my mind! I can't believe I have to wait for the next book! Well done Sherrilyn Kenyon!

This seventh story of Chronicles of Nick is confusing. It's the usual "one day in Nick Gautier's life", when everything is happening and at the end you can't believe it was just one day, not even 24 hours.
This time around someone, somehow deflates Nick's Malachai's powers and Nick sees all kinds of strange flash back or flash forwards about the people around him or about himself. He can't be sure anymore whether those flashes are real or possibilities. He gets useful information about person's pasts and about surprises from future. And as usual he keeps collecting new ally from surprising places, he's collecting then like stray dogs :).
But there is somebody who wants to change the future even more than Nick and he and his ally are two steps ahead of Nick.
As always, it's an interesting story but now I'm questioning all I have known about Nick and Ambrosius so far and I'm looking for a book about Simi and Madoc ;).

Invision… giving insight.
I find it quite challenging to write reviews for this series. The books are always five-star reading. But it’s hard to think of what to say that won’t expose the whole plot to the book. In this latest adventure into the Chronicles of Nick, Nick is dealing with visions current, past, and future that leave him reeling from a deluge of information about those he loves and what may come to pass in the coming future. These visions provide insight into the pasts of this outstanding cast of secondary characters. They provide twists in an ongoing storyline that keeps the reader on the edge and suspensefully waiting for a resolution yet to come.
Invision is a great addition to the Chronicles of Nick and as usual, I’ll be impatiently waiting for what Ms. Kenyon comes up with next.
