Frequently asked questions about craps strategies
In our guide you learned what makes a good craps strategy. Still, it may be that you still have questions - that's perfectly fine! Even so okay that we have put together a FAQ for you. The FAQ includes questions that keep coming back to us. Jump over to https://www.bestcrapscasinosites.com/ to find some great craps casinos.

What is the best craps strategy?
The smartest way to go about craps is to always bet on the pass line and take the extra odds bet with you. The house edge of the pass line bet is 1.41%, the odds bet does not even have a house edge.

Are there craps strategies and betting systems that actually work?
No. There are no craps tactics or systems that guarantee you winnings. Don't be fooled by texts on other websites that promise you the blue of the sky.

Under no circumstances should you spend money on supposedly foolproof craps systems - only one earns on these systems, and that's the shady seller.

Is craps a game of skill or a game of chance?
Craps is clearly classified as a game of chance. In games of skill, skill must have more influence on the outcome of a round than luck. With craps, the only skill is how you place your bet.

You cannot control which numbers the dice show, even if we promise the so-called "Dice Controller" on the Internet. Since your decisions can only lower the house edge but never leave them behind, craps is a game of chance. If you win, you're lucky - your skill plays a subordinate role.

Which craps bets have the smallest house edge?
In fact, the Don’t Pass Bet has the smallest house edge with 1.40%. The Pass Line Bet is hardly worse at 1.41%. Betting on the numbers 6 and 8 brings a house edge of 1.52%.

Best of all is the additional odds bet, where you win if the point is confirmed before a 7 appears. This has a house edge of 0% - yes, correctly read, there really is a zero! Betting against odds (that the 7 is rolled before the point) is just as profitable.

Why should I bet on Pass Line?
Although betting on Don’t Pass is mathematically a little better (albeit minimal), you should always give preference to the Passline bet in casinos. This is because Don’t Pass only wins when everyone else loses.

Since you may hardly be delighted when everyone else is in trouble, you should be able to safely give up the 0.01% advantage you miss.

Playing craps is exciting
Learning craps is not as difficult as you might think. In fact, it is easy to remember the craps rules and if you master some tips, it will be even more transparent. Craps is played with two dice that are thrown on the craps table. You can of course buy extra craps cubes, but normal ones do too. Before a player throws, the other players bet on whether they will win or lose. Then, according to the craps rules, the dice are thrown and the numbers that appear on the dice are waited for.

If the total number of eyes on the dice is 7 or 11, the player wins his bet.

If the total is 2, 3 or 12, he has gambled. It is a craps, according to the craps rules.

In the case of a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, the total of the eyes rolled is his point and the player has to roll the dice again. When the point is reached again, he wins.

However, if he rolls the total of 7 before reaching the point, he loses. This is how it has to work, because even with craps there must be a house edge, that is the craps rules.

You already know your way around the craps table?
So that you can really play with a good craps strategy in craps, we are now telling you which bets are possible. Of course there are also Craps German with understandable instructions, but you also need a little practice to use these bets wisely.

Unfortunately, the number of players who only know part of the rules in craps is too large. Who is the shooter and who holds the dice? It is one and the same player. However, all other players can still place bets on the game and that's what most newbies don't understand. Would you have thought that?

Pass line, don’t pass and numerous other bets, which even exceed the complexity of blackjack, should be known when playing for real money. You can find out more about this now.

Good book

I got this knowing nothing about the game of Craps. In one quick reading, I learned enough to play confidently in a casino. I will re-read to really learn the non-basic bets. Thanks. It's a game I always wanted to learn.

Great book for the beginner

Love this book. Make the game easily relatable. Simple steps on the different bets are easy to understand and connect. I still go back to it for refreshing my memory on different bets, and I’ve been playing for a couple of years now.
