Set in the fictional working class town of Highbridge, a family prepares for the funeral of Janey, killed in a hit and run. Will her brother Joey discover who killed his sister? Is Janey's husband Luke coping as well as he seems? Why is cousin Billy not invited to the funeral? Who are the mysterious figures on bikes following the funeral procession? A good taster

Slick, fast moving. The characters come alive right from the start and you can feel empathy for them right from the start.
Will definitely read Highbridge.
