Losing both parents to the cold Bay Area streets and a brother to the system, Jason can’t help but shake the fear of being taken next. Can't wait for part 2.

It’s a bit challenging to write a review on this one. The women in this book made me angry, and I hated how the men treated them.
From the premise of the book, I expected it to be significantly different. I thought Italy was going to be the main character. Instead, it was Jason. I liked Jason’s personality the best. He's a good man and seemed like the smartest one. He endured a lot and shown proper character development.
I am not likening that it ended in a cliffhanger with the expectation to read Part 2. Not sure if I will read, and if I do, it will be a while.

Another great read
I was completely hooked on this book, the characters, the storyline is deep and I can't wait for the next.

Faces of lies
