Awesome book...I seriously can't wait for the rest of the series!!! !

I also love when Dev's "sassy" side comes out and she sticks up for herself.
She's one of my favorite "heroines" that I've come across in a longgg time. Most of the heroines in books just annoy me, but not her. I actually understood her thought process and actions and I liked that she stood up for what she wanted. She never annoyed me once in the book, which is saying a lot.
I hear the next book in the series is taking a major turn to the dark side and we're in for lots of suspense and a lot of time with a new character/possible villan.
I'm excited!!!

This was a good dark read that I liked a lot. Tristan Blake he's controlling and sexy alpha male. Tristan makes a deal with his father when it comes too Dev. I liked both of these character's a lot. Dev was sassy sexy and smart. These two had really good chemistry and the sex scenes were hot. This book had a lot of twist and turns in it. This was my first time reading this author and thus was book 1 in a new series to me. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading book 2 of this series.

This book was ok but the main character Dev annoyed me. She is about 30 but acts much younger. She is all over the place with everything. It made not much sense that her real father wanted Tristan to marry her off the bat he says no but then wants her. They supposedly gave her up to protect her. She has had multiple foster mothers that just abandoned her which makes no sense at all. If the parents are paying them and paying them alot of money why would they just leave her. She met Tristan all of 3 times before she got all territorial about him. A person who works so hard to become a nurse and has a caring personality does not just up and leave their job out of the blue because someone recommended you visit a place just saying. In New York she meets this guy at a gallery turns out hes the owner. Right off the bat this guys asks her 2 be arm candy and she just trusts him shows up at his house um no. And on top of that his boyfriend lends her a very exspencive dress as he is a fashion designer and they are bestfriends right away. This book annoyed me abit it seemed like teenagers not people in their late 20's almost 30's. That being said I plan to read book 2 not sure if I'll read 3 but we will see.

Another amazing start to this roller coaster ride of a series. This author never disappoints. Tristan makes a deal with his father when it comes too Dev. Dev hard it rough growing up and refuses to get close too anyone. After she meets Tristan sparks flies. The chemistry between these two is incredibly hot!

Twisted Fate is about Tristan and Devonna. Tristan is a rich guy that gets what he wants and his eyes are set on Devonna. He sees her at a troubling time and decides to intervene. Devonna is a girl that is trying to find herself. She moves forward into her life that will show her who she is. They both have secrets and once they're out they will find out just how much their fate is twisted.

No HEA. Ends on cliffhanger without warning.
Very disappointed in the end. I normally don't insist on a HEA or mind a cliffhanger but this one ended in a bad place. I also prefer a warning when there's a clifhanger.

This is a short review that is unedited because I am very behind on my reviews because of this author and her amazing talent. Every now and then, I just wander around the books at Amazon and by doing that occasionally I find a treasure. That's what happened when I found this treasure and I don't mean this book or series. OK, yeah, eventually my initial treasure lead me to this one but my initial find was this author. I found her latest book and fell head over heels with her writing and her ability to weave a gritty, angsty, but romantic love story that will make you feel every emotion. You will be catapulted into the story and you know what that means... HUGE FEELS. After reading her latest release, I wanted, no I NEEDED, more so I proceeded to read everyone of her books and now I'm in awe. I'm confused why no one has found this little gem of an author.
So Twisted Fate was my next one. If I thought that Blame It On The Pain rocked my world, I have no words for this series. This first book shows the author's flawless character development and plot development as well as her story building skills, all of which puts you in the story so you feel. Even with this first book in the series, there are twists and turns that you will not see coming. I loved the way she weaved humor into her story and I'm talking about a giggle or smirk here and there but rather full out laughter with tears. There is no insta-anything which goes back to her flawless character development and story building skills. No one who actually read this book and has a decent reading comprehension can say that there is insta love because Dev pushes Tristan away from the beginning and then runs from him as in quits her job and runs to another state, all the time lying to him about where she is moving. Half way through this book she is running from him and pushing him away.
While this book is full of angst as well as many other feelings, it's not dark. BUT. The series is Dark. This is the first book in a series and while it is a great read, the best, you aren't going to get your closure with this one. That doesn't come until Twisted Love. The journey for the closure is dark so if you don't like being plunged into the darkness before you are brought into the light or if you have triggers, please walk away from this one. This author has amazing talent and does not deserve bad reviews because of ignorance or because someone ignored her warning. And she does warn the readers. She has a trigger warning in the blurbs, including this one, and at the beginning of the book.
A word on the cliffy and series thing. I know some of us HATE it. I'm totally with you but here's the thing you have to know. First they are all out and she prices them very low so by the time you've purchased all three books, you have paid what most authors charge for one book that is half as long as this one. That brings me to my next point. These are full length books with no filler. Its 100% story and its intense and very involved. This series is not a money thing. Reading it as a series really is the best way. So you pay 6 bucks for the series which is 761 pages. Tell me what other author has a regular priced book or series with over 400 pages?? So yeah, I detest series but this one is my exception to the rule. You will not be disappointed. If you are like me, don't walk away from this EXPERIENCE just because its a series.
I couldn't write a short review if my life depended on it, not for books that I'm so passionate about. I recommend this book, this series, this author and everything that she writes!

Why are you busy reading reviews and not reading this book?!
Honestly, I can say I'm slightly obsessed with all of Ashley's writing. This book is a perfect example of why that is. As someone that's reads excessively I can say you will not find many books that have sex, love, suspense, crime, and make you feel this many emotions at one time.
This book is full of OMG moments,and I can't believe they are that tied to each other parts. The two main characters really do have their fates twisted together. I must be twisted myself to read these books knowing I'm going to love them but hate that they make me feel at the same time.

I loved this book!! It has a great story with suspense and humor and anger and love. I totally recommend this book and hope you will check it out!! I've already read book 2 and believe me you want to keep going!! So buy this book, find a comfy chair and enjoy!!

3.5 STARS! Great book that was an easy read and leaves you wanting more. This story has great characters, insta-love, drama, suspense and a rich and sexy hottie that sure has a way with words. Ends in a major cliffy.

This was a great story filled with twists that kept my attention the whole way through. Twisted Fate tells the story of Devonna and Tristian, two individuals who are linked by their pasts and are drawn together by fierce lust and a strong connection. The author did a great job with the sense of mystery in the story, setting up a storyline that is sure to explode in the coming books. I enjoyed both Dev and Tristian's characters, both of whom were well-written. Dev was a great combination of sassy and vulnerable, and Tristian was the epitome of an alpha male with his possessive, controlling nature. I look forward to seeing how things will play out between them in the course of the series. I really enjoy the author's writing style and look forward to continuing with this series.

Didn't make it past the first chapter. The plots dumb. So an adopted (known killer) in the mob is requested by his former boss to marry the guy's hidden daughter. All to protect her from knowing the truth of who her father is? Yeah. Not quite believable. She's 29 and needs this guy's protection? Let me guess, she's also virginal or maybe has never been around any man except that first and only time. She probably hates sex and avoids it like the plague. That is until she meets that guy and falls for the ruse that he actually loves her and wants to marry her, out of the blue.

Wow! Where do I begin and what do I say about this wonderful, awesome, fantastic book. Ashley literally pulls you into the story from the first page until the end. I love this book and it has everything from drama, suspense, action, fear, twist and turns, tears, love, passion and hot steamy sex that will put your panties on fire. I love Tristan and Dev and can not wait to read the next book of the series.

With a mystery in the prologue alone,you know it's going to be interesting. The plot twists and turns and just as you think you have and idea of what's going on, you discover you don't know a thing! Great characters, great plot. Great writing!

I liked this one enough to want to read book 2 immediately, but book 2 ruined the series and the romance for me.
