I took a Chance on my bad boy stepbrother...

...he took me on the floor. At the hotel pool. The beach.

My innocence.

We had a deal. Just one time, and nothing more, and I'll never forget the memory of his rock hard body over mine, his hard muscles clenching as he claimed me, as he made me scream out in pleasure.

I don't need some MMA cage-fighting bad boy thinking I'm his, even if he makes my panties melt.

I definitely don't need to be sharing a room with him on a family vacation for two weeks. Alone.

But then things go horribly wrong, and Chance is the only one who can get us out.

Before, I hated wanting him.

Now, I just hate that I need him to save my life.

---

I turned a good girl bad...

I'm not looking for a wife, just a hot lay.

I wanted a taste of Cassie the second I saw her.

Hit it and quit it never sounded so damned good.

If only it stayed that way. Now, she's my stepsister, and knowing she's off limits just makes me want her more.

I can't even look at her without wanting to tear her clothes off and feel her uncoiling around me.

Without wanting to take every sweet inch of her again. And again.

When I hear her old man's gotten her into trouble with the mafia, I lose it.

I'll do anything to protect her, make her mine, and tame her lips for good.

Nobody endangers what's mine. I'll never abandon what's mine.

DNF at 20%. Didn't like the heroine and I guess I've read too many of these type of books -- I want more story and a lot less sex and talk about sex. I guess my age is showing.

ARC given in exchange for an honest review

Holy hotness. I really enjoyed this book. The author did a great job on keeping you hooked and focused from the beginning. This is a steamy stepbrother read that will keep you hot. There are different emotions that will run through this book and love that forms between two people unexpected.

Cassie & Chance will take you on a journey from the first time they meet and continue until the very end. Cassie will be going off to college overseas in the UK and Chance is a MMA fighter looking to go Pro. The battles that they will face along with struggles just brings them closer together.

This book has a plot from the beginning and stays till the very end. It's a book that you won't be disappointed with. I highly recommend. Great job to the author.

3 stars for attention to detail and of course, the alpha male hero (Chance). I don't know how accurate all the MMA jargon and specifics are but I was really interested.

Other than these two things, there was nothing to distinguish Unleashed from other MMA books. The writing was good but the story itself was unoriginal. The sex was mediocre. The heroine (Cass) was irritating and self-righteous. Although Chance was sweet and protective of Cass, he was also on more than one occasion an unapologetic ass.

Finally, Chance did not come across as a 20 year old. Based on his life experiences, I would've pegged him at closer to 30 but that's just me being picky I guess.

All in all, Unleashed is an ok read. Now would I recommend it to my friends? Maybe.

This author is now on my radar. I read Uncaged and LOVED that the H was so crazy about the h. I'm a sucker for that. This book was no different. The h was IT for the H. He was so HOT and only obsessed about the h. He was even stalking her a little bit. (sigh) I want more of these heroes please!! Plus, the sex scenes are SMOKING HOT!! The best I've read in a long time. Unfortunately, I HATED the h, she was so incredibly bratty. She responded to everything with such attitude. She was super annoying. This book and the last one was stepbrother books. They were a little too similar. I hope the author doesn't keep just writing about this theme. Please write faster. I want more!!!

I'm disappointed. I was hoping for something different. It was almost the same storyline as Unraveled (a book written by the same author). Unfortunately, just like in Unraveled, this story was full of edit issues and a few other issues. I enjoyed the previous book, but reading two books by the same author with such similarities and issues brings my rating down. I still hope the author fixes the issues, and continues to grow as an author.

Where does it all go?

I received Unleashed and Uncaged in my copy of this book.
Unleashed and Uncaged are standalone books although the 2 main characters from Unleashed make a brief appearance in Uncaged.
Both stories are funny interesting in how the parents and up married and their kids have a relationship. Unleashed: The father make a stupid mistake that gets his whole new family in trouble. His new stepson has to get him out of trouble and save the women. Luckily he has had s thing for his stepsister for a while and going to London helps them grow closer. Will he win or lose the match and the girl?
Uncaged: Girl follows her dreams to another country and randomly meets the son of her father's girlfriend. He falls for her and has to save her by fighting in a fight he does not have a choice about. Will he win and save the girl or lose her and his life?

Basically the same story line as Unraveled. Bad boy MMA fighter and shy/studious girl. Can't say I would recommend or read again.

Chance was a fighter, an MMA pro-prospect just graduated from high school. He had been training for eight years and was going to be a world champion. He had been with almost all the school females but now his attention was on Cassie Shannon, another student, and he wanted her all to himself. He found Cassie Shannon a very different and interesting Miss. Smart, Proper and Prim. Cassie knew Chance was a bad boy and very dangerous to her. Yes, she felt some attraction to him but she can’t think about that. He was all she had to avoid and she needed to stay in charge of her life. She had all planed for her future and she can’t become sidetracked. But Chance had his mind set and the flesh is weak so, Cassie surrender to his charming and passionate ways. They were totally caught in their passion when suddenly Cassie’s father returned from his trip to Las Vegas with a woman at his side and news about his change of status. Chance reaction was very different from Cassie’s. He was not worried and was thinking nothing changed between him and Cassie. But Cassie’s father had changed and for the worst and soon they were involved in a situation that was endangering the lives of all of them. Would Chance and Cassie survive the risky situation? This story is full of suspense, intrigue and action and hot sex. Chance and Cassie characters were strong with a good chemistry and dialogs that made the story flow and caught the attention of the reader. Chance remember me the alpha shifters who found their mates: to cherish and protect above all. As he said: he would never leave, he would never abandon them as his father did. The challenge appealed to him as a good alpha and that added to his strength and desire to win. Cassie, besides accepting her feelings for Chance, as soon as she realized that Chance really needed her she set her mind to help him. She overcame her fears and was a really asset for Chance. Liked their preparation and team work. Enjoyed and learned somethings about the fights with this story. Very good story and I will look for more books by this author. Received the ARC for an honest review.

Pretty easy, quick read. When I started this book, I wasn't totally sure how I was going to feel about it. Chance comes off as an arrogant prick at first, and not the delicious, arrogant jerk, but the cocky asshole, arrogant jerk, but a few chapters in, it seems like the author tones all that down a bit. I also found Cassie to be a bit pretentious, totally prude-ish, and honestly, quite snobby. She didn't get better for me until about halfway through the story, but once she settles in to her relationship with Chance, she gets much better. I liked that Chance was pretty aggressive in going after her, but felt like her reactions to it were either way too naive or all of a sudden sex kitten. I kind of got whip lash from Cassie more than once. One thing I really didn't like about this book at all was all of the inner monologue from both POV's. I feel like as the reader, we miss a lot of the connection to the characters because we are so busy reading their inner thoughts rather than the two of them having conversations and building a relationship. I went pages and pages without any actual conversation. And a lot of the inner thoughts could have been taken out because it just seemed like boring filler. I don't think we need all that much detail about cage fighting strategy or anything else that they seemed to yammer on about. That got boring and I found myself skipping huge chunks of pages just to try and find another piece of conversation. I also felt like the end came up pretty quick and since it was so fast, I would have liked more information in the epilogue and possibly further into the future. What is her relationship with her dad like now? What about Chance's mom? Those details aren't super important to the story, but I'd still like to know. Other than that, this was a pretty pleasant read!

I was given this book for an honest review. This makes the second book I have read of Emilia Kincade. I love her work. She has a way in pulling you right into the story.

Cassie Shannon I felt sorry for. Here she was on her graduation day and her own father would not even show. He should of been right by her side beaming around that his daughter worked so hard and was valedictorian. But now here she was making her speech with no one who cared for her sitting listening and watching a very important moment in her life.

Chance Hudson was known as a player. Had women dying to be with him and he done them left and right not even remembering their name. He was handsome, sexy and a MMA pro-prospect. The one thing people did not know was the moment he say Cassie he heart was stolen. Other women just did not even matter to him. He wanted her and knew one day he would have her.

Cassie though found Chance drop dead gorgeous knew that guys like him did not go for girls like her. She was the girl that kept her nose to the books and never would give a guy the time of day. She was what most thought to be a snob. So when Chance decided to make his move it surprised and. What really threw her off her rails was when her dad came home from his Vegas trip married to Chance’s mom.

In this book you will find not only is Chance this sexy bad boy but he becomes very protective of Cassie. Things happen that put Cassie and Chance’s mom in danger. Chance is the only one that can protect them. Will Chance be able to pull it off?

This is a hot and sexy taboo story about step-siblings getting it on. You will have some pretty hot and heavy parts in the book. To top that off you have a bad boy MMA pro-prospect fighter who is damn sexy. It is defiantly a book that you will want to check out.

This is a terrific MMA fighter book written by Emilia Kincade . Chance is a student who took a year off high school to fight in Europe and now here he was back in the States. After taking a year off , he was able to finish and graduate HS—but his mom didn’t show up to his graduation—in the same boat was Cassie –she was very smart and her dad didn’t even show up to her graduation. Chance had been with pretty much every girl in their HS but Cassie. He has always had his eyes on her but never made a move on her. Chance gives off a dangerous air and Cassie was one of innocence –when they meet up on their graduation night, commiserating over how their parents dumped on them—its seems an attraction formed . They ended up surrendering to their passion and in the midst of that, Cassie’s dad comes back and with a new woman who happens to be Chance’s mom—AND THEIR MARRIED. OH MY—now Cassie is confused, thinking that they can no longer be together—Chance doesn’t share her concern. He thinks they can continue their affair with no repercussions—But there is danger coming and BIG Twists and turns coming and its how Chance and Cassie maneuver this , will determine how they come thru this.

I really enjoyed reading the suspense and action of the story and how Chance grew up in this story, passed his tomcat ways. Also, Cassie , too, grew up and grew into a very mature woman who took what she wanted with a firm hand. These two had some great chemistry together. Their past made way for a terrific future together and I enjoyed the ending which was looked to be a terrific HEA for Chance and Cassie.

Another exceptionally well-written, gripping and sensual MMA stepbrother story from the author about Cassie and Chase, and their journey of love. It is the day of graduation and Cassie and Chance lament the fact that neither of their parents are there to see them. Cassie is devastated; she has worked so hard and is the best student in the history of the school. Chance is a fighter, one of the top five upcoming wrestling stars in the country; whether it’s wrestling, cage fighting or boxing, he gives it his all. Chance’s popularity with girls is renowned, but all that stops when he sees Cassie; she is the only one he wants and he tells her so, even though he has been teasing and tormenting her for a whole year. When Cassie’s father returns from his business trip, he has a new wife – Chance’s mother. Deciding to vacation in London, Chance unexpectedly comes across an illegal underground fight, but more importantly, and surprising, is what he discovers about Cassie’s father and the danger his actions have put his family in. Working together Cassie and Chance have to outwit the one person who has the potential to ruin all their lives. Chase’s coach has always told him that he was talented, cocky and too technical – now it is time for him to think outside the box. After all their futures are at stake. I enjoyed this story immensely and would have no hesitation in recommending it. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this MMA fighter book written by Emilia Kincade. Chance is a student who took a year off high school to fight in Europe for a year. He is back and graduating and ready to get involved with a girl he just can't get off his mind.

"She doesn't really know me, she only thinks she does. It's like that with her for everything. She's got this confidence that I adore, and a stubborn pride in her capacity to judge people correctly...There's a fire in her, a spring of self-assuredness."

Cassie Shannon is the girl Chance wants and she was annoyed to find Chance in almost all of her classes after his year way. She notices him, but "He's been teasing and tormenting me for a whole year."

"His broad-shouldered, narrow-waisted body, all muscle and not an ounce of fat, towers over me. I'm quite literally sitting in his shadow."

The back and forth dialogue with Chance and Cassie was fun and flirty, as the story progresses and Chance breaks her barriers down one by one. The story is original and exciting and surprising. "I'm just trying to ignore you so I don't ruin my day." Cassie says to Chance.

I don't want to spoil the story for anyone but there are twists and turns, that put a damper on the new relationship. Travel, a wedding, and MMA fighting are highlights from the story which I truly enjoyed reading and found it hard to put down once I was in the middle of it.

Great job by this new talented Author, Emilia Kincade.

Cassie has always prided herself as someone who knows what she wants in life and works towards it. For now, getting good grades and getting into a good college are the highs in her list. Cassie denies her attraction towards Chance despite him being good looking, sexy and a MMA fighter. It is precisely that he quitted school to be a MMA fighter that she kind of looks down on him.

Chance has girls all over him but there's only 1 girl that he is interested in.

A surprising turn of events led to Chance and Cassie becoming a family and they went on a trip to London. It was in London that Cassie and Chance grew closer especially after one night where they ran into some drunks while on the streets.

Chance unwittingly found out that Cassie's dad was involved with the mafia and some illegal dealings that would endanger Cassie and his mum. He decided to intervene to protect them.

I enjoyed the relationship build up in this story. Cassie's feelings for Chance deepened after knowing what he put himself through to protect her and his mum. I especially enjoyed the chemistry they had when they were studying the fight moves, the support that Cassie gave and how she was his right hand man during the fight.

This is my first book by Emilia Kincade and definitely won't be my last.

Only read the first book..

Chance and Cassie had great chemistry from the begging. I'm happy the author did not obsess over the fact that they were step siblings. Sometimes with stepbrother books it seems like that's all the author talks about but it was refreshing that it didn't happen in this book. Overall the story was enjoyable but there were some things I found super annoying throughout the book.

First I don't really get why the author added in a bunch of white dots in between each chapter.. It added 2-3 pages of blank space between each chapter. kinda seemed like the author was just trying to make the book seem longer than it actually was with a higher page count. In my opinion that's just deceitful.

Secondly I'm not sure if this author is American or not but I noticed the characters would sometimes make comments that Americans wouldn't. I don't know if it was supposed to be the characters trying to talk like they were European or if the author just didn't realize that isn't the way Americans talk. For example referring to the elevator as a lift. Another example referring to LSE simply as university, Americans don't usually refer to schools as just university. It sounds weird in American English. Just found all the random slip ups super annoying.

I was gifted this book for an honest review and have to say I loved it because not only is it a step sibling romance kind of , but it also has some suspense to it. Cassie meets Chance while in high school, but what neither one of them know is that at the time of Cassie's graduation her father would rather be in Las Vegas with suppose to be his companies partners then at her graduation. Now Chance he has liked Cassie every since he came back from Asia and an MMA fighting tourney to finish his education. He has a way of getting under Cassie's skin. They both can no longer fight their feelings for each and the next day they find out that their parents got married while in Vegas. They head to London to check out Cassie's school she is going to be going to. Chance get's into an underground fight seen and notices that Cassie's Dad is there and things go from there. The author Emilia Kincade did a great job writing this story and I would recommend it to any one that likes a good romance with some suspense to it cause this book is worth the read.

Chance is the bad boy at school and Cassie is the good girl, and you know what they say about opposites attract....

After their high school graduation Chance notices Cassie waiting for the bus to take her home and decides he's finally going to make a move. It's actually pretty funny the way the bad boy is a bit nervous about making a move, he has been with most of the girls in school but there is just something about Cassie that is different.
The chemistry was really good between the two and I really liked the way he was protective of her and did everything in his power to shield her from being hurt.

At the beginning of the book the two are not step-siblings that happens a bit later and after a relationship has started between the two of them. If you get icky feelings thinking of step-siblings growing up together and then they start a relationship there is no worries with that in this book.

As I have said in the past, I am a HUGE sucker for MMA Fighter/Bad Boy Romance stories! And this book certainly delivers all that and more! I love the whole suspense/thriller aspect that was worked into this story. This book is very well written, the story flows well and the characters are very well developed! It has everything that I consider a must in a 5 star read. It has a great story line, it's well written, full of suspense, drama, action and top all of it off with some hot-as-hell sex, that is way better than any cherry at the top of sundae, anyday! Just when I thought I had the HEA all figured out, Ms. Kincade would throw a curve ball into the story that would make you have to stop and reconsider and think that maybe the HEA isn't going to happen. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and I look forward to reading more from this author and am honored to have received this ARC and would be delighted to receive future ARC's. Regardless, I will definitely be reading more from this author!

Love it, is sucked you in from the beginning, heart pounding, page turning addiction. Chance is a Pro prospect in MMA, just won amateur tour in Asia and now he’s back for finish high school and graduates but first day in school he sees Cassie and he has made up his mind and she is the only one he wants and will find a way to get her. Cassie is top of her class, valedictorian, and got into a London Collage, very hard to get into type of collage. She has been advoiding Chance since the first day he started school, he was 2 grades ahead but now she and he are in the same and she has to deal with his smirks, looks and flirts. Until a night they got together then the next day her father and his mother comes back married. Oh that not all there is some big secrets that are hidden from Cassie and Chance discovers them and there will be hell to pay.
Ms Kincade is bring Uncaged and this story together in a series type events

My first and only complaint about this book is that it was advertised nowhere that there were actually two stories in this book. I thought I was getting one story. At 50%, when I saw the epilogue, I was a little pissed. I just want to know what to expect. Even though there was a natural and normal conclusion to the book, I felt duped that it was already over. I had been wondering and predicting what was going to happen next, wondering what twist was going to take place to take up the next portion of the story, and then BAM! It's over.

That complaint aside, I really liked this story. What I liked most is that once these characters were United, nothing broke them up. There wasn't some stupid misunderstanding. There wasn't an ex that got in the way. They were together and they battled their issues together, united. You don't often see that in romance books these days. It made me happy. I liked both characters. They were strong, honest, good people.

INCREDIBLE READ
First off, I loved the dual points of view. It always makes the story much more interesting. Chance gives Cassie a ride home after their graduation that neither Cassie's father nor Chance's mother show up for. They decide to have one night together and that will be the end of it. The next morning upon their arrival back from Vegas, her father walks in with his new bride, Chance's mom, which means they're now step-related. Their attraction only intensifies and is very hot. To add to the mix, her father did a stupid thing and borrowed some money while in Vegas that Chance needs to help him with to protect Cassie and his Mom. It's action-packed with drama, suspense, and twists and turns. You'll have to read it to see what happens. I received this book as a gift for an honest review. Patsy Sacco

This is a twist to a stepbrother romance. What you may think about it will surprise you.

Chance is a amateur MMA fighter. He is just graduating high school because he took a year off to do a fight tour in Asia. Now he wants to turn pro.

Cassie goes to school with Chance but never really cared to much about what he did. She had a plan. She always planned for everything. But what she didn't plan for was when graduation happened so would her thinking about Chance.

Things really got changed when Chance's mother and Cassie's dad come home from what they each thought was separate business trips to Vegas married. But that isn't the nly secret Cassie's dad is hiding. What will be revealed on the family trip to London? Will Cassie throw out her plans and just go with the flow with Chance?

I received this book for an honest review.
Cassie is graduating and her father isn't even there to see, but he's not, he's not there to watch her walk across the stage or give her valedictorian speech.
Chance is the player, he has women groveling at his feet and once he's done with them, he doesn't even remember their names. The moment he sees Cassie, his heart isn't his anymore, no other woman matters.
Cassie though knows the Chance would never even look at a girl like her, he's gorgeous and she was the 'nerd' so when he made a move she was taken off guard and what's worse, her dad comes home from his trip to Vegas married to Chance's mom.
They are put through some trying times where Chance steps up and is the protector.
This is a great book that I couldn't put down.

Cassie and Chance are students at the same school.

He came back to school after taking off a year to fight out of the country. He is an MMA fighter.

Cassie does not like Chance because of his cocky attitude and his manwhorish ways and she is annoyed that they have many classes together. He has been tormenting and teasing her for a year.

He approaches her after graduation and after back and forth banter he ends up giving her a ride and they end up at the beach and things get steamy. Even though Cassie wants to fight it they are drawn to each other. Chance does not fight it because he wants Cassie and only her.

The book is well written and has a few twists.

No cheating
No OW/OM drama

Unleashed was a tension fraught with sexual want for Chance and even Cassie tho she isn’t quite aware of it right away. Chance knows what he wants and he’s going to go for it. I loved the internal dialog and play that gave us a glimpse of the inner workings of both Chance and Cassie. It helped better understand where both were coming from without making either seem snobby or arrogant. I loved how they were both drawn together and stronger for it. Things moved fast for them, but they weren’t embarrassed for it. Unleashed wasn’t what I was expecting. It was a grab hold of you and not let go until Chance has what he wants read.

So an unlikely surprise, leaves two recent HS grads to end up being related. Cassie is the bright nerd who excels and finishes school early and there is Chance the pro-prospect MMA fighter whose only goal for the last eight years is to make it to the pros. Chance has always liked Cassie and sets his sights on her right after graduation. You can see where this is going but there are some really good twists and turns. The suspense and writing is great. Really good story that you will want to keep reading.
