Moving to a new city and starting a new life was supposed to help Angela move on with her life. With the recent discovery of Steve McCallister's past and her roommate, Thomas's strange behavior over the recent weeks she now has more stress on her plate than she can handle. Both men have to go. When Angela tells Thomas's she needs her own space and is moving out, he suddenly seems to morph into a man she doesn't even recognize. The stress becomes so overwhelming that she begins to have bizarre dreams about Thomas...and she is waking up very soar in all the wrong place. Will Steve be able to convince Angela of the truth or will her longtime friend and roommate Thomas continue to weave his web of lies?

Thomas is definitely the fly in the ointment, a Machiavelli with a twisted desire for for his 'best friend' Angela.
The problem is that Angela still thinks he's one of the good guys - she's a bit slow on the uptake to be perfectly honest.
Steve took the breakup hard but hasn't given up - as far as he's concerned it is only a matter of time before he gets her back.
But with Thomas secretly interfering in almost everything involving Angela it is not going to be plain sailing.
Oh, and Angela's undies are mysteriously disappearing. Who could the thief possibly be as there are only two people in the apartment?
“Deceived: Part 2” is quite short but enters into what should be forbidden territory at the end - without going into details it is just wrong.
I won't be reading any further in the series.

Angela was trying to gather her wits. She would not be hurt again. After those photos and text she didn’t know what to think but can’t see Steve again. Steve was in his knees trying to convince Angela he had nothing to do with Kim and can’t think without Angela. He was a mess! And that pervert, psychotic Thomas trying to hide behind his love for Blake. I knew it! He was the one behind the deceptions. He had partnered with Kim (another that was beside herself) and where plotting against Angela and Steve. As the saying goes “Birds of a flock fly together”. I was chuckling while reading Thomas exploits. He really was out of his mind. And Kim a successful, professional woman begging for love? No Way! This characters were ready for a horror story. Angela’s and Steve chemistry was strong and she was thinking give him an opportunity to explain. And despite all the signs and evidence Angela was still doubting. It was obvious that she was the weak link in here. Panties disappearing while in the hamper? I would had run for the hills long ago. I was waiting to see Thomas with an ax. This character was awful. I kept seeing him with sprouted eyed like a Gollum saying, Mine. I was enjoying the action, the intrigue, the steamy sex, the suspense and the characters but in the last chapter I was ready to get rid of Thomas if not something worse. Grrr! I was dumbfounded! Eager for the rest because the suspense is killing me.

Deceived 2 by Kylie Walker is book two in her new serial series also titled Deceived.

Picking up where book one left off, Angela and Thomas have hit a bit of a bump in their friendship. Angela is getting a vibe and ignoring it, meanwhile Steve is trying to repair the damage that he claims he had nothing to do with. Frankly - I believe him. There is some serious bad intentions going on.

But is Thomas really just being a good friend and watching out for Angela? I'd like to think so. But Steve is determined and hot, and the chemistry they have is out of this world. Ending on another crazy cliffhanger can't wait to read the next one.

ARC given in exchange for an honest review

This book picks up from where the first one ended. Let me tell you - you gotta hold on to something as this book will keep you focused and you'll want to reach for something. Don't throw your reading device :). The author gets you more hooked into this story as you need to know what is going to happen.

Steve will do anything he can to get to explain to Angela what happened. He is a mess without her and will do what he must just to get her to listen to what he has to say. He has found the one that he wants to be with even if it seems it's a little to fast. Now only if he wouldn't have people trying to get in her way.

Angela is still trying to overcome what she saw on Steve's phone. She has Thomas there to help her out and be the friend, only she doesn't realize that Thomas has something else up his sleeve. She decides that she will talk with Steve and let him explain. Now that she has Jo and Steve warning her about Thomas - she thinks differently but decides to give the friendship one last chance........

I can't wait for more books in the series, I need to know how things go. I need more Steve & Angela. Great job to the author on another amazing read.

OMG.....You can not end it this way, I need more NOW! While Angela is trying to stay away from Steve and Thomas, she is trying to find a place of her own. When funny things start happening with the apartments she is planning on looking at, she can't believe her luck. While Joanne wants her to keep her eyes open with Thomas, he is trying to make her really see him. When she realizes that she needs to talk to Steve, will she be able to restrain herself and take things slow? Will Thomas finally push things too far and Angela realize the truth? And what will happen with Kim her boss? Once I started this part of the series I couldn't put it down and after a few hours I am done and wanting more. If you are looking for a series that is full of suspense, a kinda who done it and leave you wondering if love will win in the end, then this series is for you. Although I would suggest you wait until all parts are released because there are big cliff hangers that will make you want to throw things and pull your hair out. I can't wait for part three.

I was given an ARC of Deceived Part 2 in exchange for an honest review. Part 2 was even better than the first. Angela has gone through a lot with the loss of her husband Blake and is slowly picking up the pieces when she meets and instantly falls for Steve. Their romance may be short lived though because of interference from someone she thinks she trusts. She needs to start listening to her friends and stay away from Thomas who is determined to have her for himself. He shows his true colors that will change Angela forever. The book was loaded with mystery (and some hot sex) and is a page turner. The more I read, the angrier I was with Thomas. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.

OMG book this has left me with no words. This was really quick read very fast pace book 2 picked up where book 1 ended Angela is trying to move on from Steve who she thinks has betrayed her not realizing that Thomas and Kim has it in for her. I don't want to give too much away but towards the end it was kinda of difficult to read. Once again it ends on a cliffhanger but also contain a difficult scene involving a date rape drug called GHB FYI. Definitely looking forward to reading book 3 I really hope Thomas get what he deserves.

TOTALLY DECEIVED
I sat down and read this 2nd part in a couple of hours. I was so relieved when Angela let Steve back in her life. Angela is so hung up on Thomas having been such a good friend to her and Blake that she ignores his strange behavior. Jo and Steve try to warn her, but she decides to give him one more chance. Boy what a mistake! I couldn't stop reading. I can't wait for Kimberly and Thomas to get theirs. They are both a piece of work and deserve each other. Can't wait for Part 3. I didn't see this twist coming! One of the characters goes in a very dangerous direction with their actions and the consequences will be huge when it is revealed. I really love how suspenseful the books have been and they make me eager for the next one. It is a great storyline with a lot to love - a strong woman embracing her sexuality, a sexy man who isn't afraid to express his feelings, and characters to really hate on too. I am eager for the next part of the story. I received a copy in return for a honest review.

As I seriously tore through this book, I loved every bit. I can't get enough of Angela and Steve! I find myself yelling at each of them and wishing the outsiders in their lives would just go away and let them be happy.
Reading the last chapter I felt pain, hurt and ached for what lies ahead. I now am secretly planning to hurt this so-called best friend and hope he gets what's coming to him! How could anyone hurt Angela like this? I'm disgusted at how much of a jerk some people can be by passing their thoughts off as being a helpful and loving friend. Ugh!!

I read this one in about 2 hours and holy cow that is sooo not fair to leave me hanging!!!
Ok, so, now that I have that out...I enjoyed book 2, there were still only a handful of misspellings, it flowed quickly and pulled you in. Still didn't have Steve's POV and I'm still hoping for it. I really hate to give anything away but I want to punch Thomas square in the crotch right now! Omg! Cannot wait for book 3! Kudos, Ms. Walker! I'm hooked!

Wow, a shocking turn of events in the second part of this awesome series, will Angela ever recover when she finds out how awful Thomas really is? Angela is finally starting to see the real Thomas, but she is still too trusting to see his sick and depraved ways, he will commit the ultimate betrayal, but will she ever know? Kim and Thomas continue to try to destroy Steve and Angela's relationship, will they fall for their schemes? I received a copy of this book in change for an honest review.

Deceived 2 takes off a couple days after book one ended. I became so wrapped up in what was happening that I threw my tablet when it ended. The cliffhanger on this one is a biggie.

Note: There is there is sex involving GSP (Date rape drug). This is intended for readers over 18. Please read this series in order or else the complexity and dynamics will not make any sense.

Another amazing book and quick read. I thought book one was great but two was even better and I didn't think that was possible. Book two picks up where book one left off. This book is full of twists, turns, passion, friendship, deceit and suspense. I can't wait for book three, I know it will not disappoint. Thanks to Kylie Walker for another wonderful series that 'hooks' you from the very first page and doesn't let you go. Must read in order.

Love this series. It's a true rollercoaster ride from begging to end. Angela already has been through soo much and it seems like life isn't done with her. She finally starting to see Thomas for who he really is but it sucks she had to go through all she went through just to finally realize he can't be trusted. This series is a serious page turner it will stay on your mind to beginning to end. This is series will not let you down promise.

Deceived Part 2 is a continuance so Part 1 must be read. Angela is not with Steve anymore. So many obstacles in their way. Thomas is getting more jealous. She is moving out. Steve is trying to talk to her. She finally listens and is taking baby steps in their relationship. This ends in a way that I didn't expect. All I'm going to say is that Thomas is crazy and I don't even know where this is going to go. Well just have to see. I still can't get into the characters. Maybe that will change

I couldn't wait to read the second part of Deceived. Angela is trying to get her life back together after moving to California after her husband died of cancer. Her roommate Thomas is a good friend and has deeper feelings for her. She is involved with Steve but too many obstacles keep getting in the way..lets hope they get their hea.. Suspenseful and can't wait for third.part..love this writer.

Thomas is seriously deranged!Angela is way to nice and nieve with her best friend Thomas.Even after her friend Joanne and Steve try to warn her something is off with him. What he did is so wrong and I can't wait to read part 3 to find out how it comes back to bite him.
