Wow, what a wild ride! This is my first M.P. Lodi novel and I know I'm gonna have to read the others now! Her bad boy, Noah, is a brute in every way but he really only wants things to be right in the world. It was quite an interesting character study. He has a woman who's willing to sacrifice her own life to be with him and a loyal crew who aren't much different. But, he's very flawed and that's what made reading the book that much more interesting. Aside from all of the smoking hot sex, of course, M.P. includes sensuality in places that will catch you off guard making it the perfect combination of a great storyline and some smoking hot sex scenes. Anybody who reads enough romance and erotica knows that's not always a luxury we get to experience. Love it! Keep up the great work, M.P.!

Noah’s Rise is a modern day Robin Hood tale only now rather than robbing from the king he has to tangle with drug dealers and mafia. He takes their dirty money and gives it to needy, in this case church, orphans and other charitable cases. However now the good deed is done, he’s on the run with some friends and his lover Emily. There is action, kinky hot sex and blood. I enjoyed how the point of view changed throughout. It added different dimensions to the narration of the story. Noah’s Military Police training comes through which I liked. Noah seems to ride the very edge of the line between good and bad and Emily holds him in check. All in all I enjoyed the book. I’ve not read the others in the series as this is a standalone however I now feel I ought to go back and read them so I know the full story. I look forward to more from M.P Lodi
