I've never read a book where I hated every character. Draya was TSTL and August was a complete asshole with no redeeming qualities. These two had the absolute worst dysfunctional relationship. They were over the top dysfunctional but I think that's why I couldn't stop reading. It was like watching a train wreck happen in slow motion. I just couldn't figure out why these two would want to be together. I'm gonna try the next book and hopefully there will be some redeeming qualities in these crazy characters.

WOW!
Wow is an understatement. This book blew me away from the very first page. I had been hearing a lot of talk about this book, and I had to read it for myself. August was just doing too much, but he is still my book bae of the day. I was Draya in my mind while I was reading. That ending had my clutching my chest. I didn't see that coming. I need part 2 asap. This is my first read by this author, and I will be waiting for more from her.

This book came with all types of exciting drama from violence to passionate love scenes! Nice cover. August definitely had his way with the females, Draya included. At times, he was out of control! The well written storyline made this a quick page turner! I liked Draya despite her spoiled attitude. The surprise ending has me anxiously awaiting the next part! Great writing Sol!

I really enjoyed this read. August just has sex with anybody. He barely used condoms. I didn't understand why Draya even wanted to be with him. He was too much for me. I think Brianna shot her.

I did not love the book. The character development was pretty weak. I’m going to finish the series, but comparatively to her other books I wasn’t really feeling this one. I didn’t think the flashback scene in the beginning made very much sense. I believe flashbacks should give background information on the characters. For instance, if the flashback went into Austin’s childhood on how he became this dog ass f^ck boy...it would’ve given us a clue on who we were dealing with. Austin barely had any endearing qualities outside of his looks that explained how he was even able to prey upon the women that he did. He had no depth at all. The author didn’t really take the time to really describe the character’s and I had a difficult time visualizing them as I read. I just didn’t think the characters were fleshed out very well, and if you’re going to bother writing a 4 part series, I would rather you take the time to make me invested in the characters than rushing through unrealistic plot points to try to make the story more dramatic.

Great read! Very entertaining. I enjoyed the plot. This wasn’t my first time reading this series but it has been a few years since. I enjoyed the first installment...Sad ending, though.

Overall this was a very good read, August was too damn whoress for my liking, Draya should have stayed with Carter, too me she was just plain weak and Dumb for August but hey everyone has that one person that they're weak for. I hope Draya doesn't die, and Brianna was just downright sheisty, she always wanted to be like Draya. She was a loose cannon from the jump. Patiently waiting for part 2 to be back available on Amazon!!!!

The things ppl should know
This book is one I would recommend. I wasn't feeling it at first. But I decided to give it another chance. I never leave a book unread or half read. I started rereading from the beginning yesterday and finished this afternoon. This book get 5 stars and 2 thumbs up.its a book with purpose and real life issues that are sometimes unspoken. I did not think I would like this book but I did
This book brought out a lot of emotions for me it makes you think about what your children go through or should I say your daughters go through when they leave home to go off to college how easy a woman can be manipulated by man and it ultimately cost her life this is a great read I highly recommended

Wow that ending was so intense 🤭🤭. Draya just couldn’t stay away. I really hope that ending turns out not to be true. For a while I really thought Draya was going to move on but she just couldn’t. This series has definitely started off interesting. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

....this book was all over the place in a way. August and his love interest, Draya played a sexual game of cat and mouse, throughout the entire book. August was a professor, that had slept with many of his students, but only two he caught feelings for; Alexis, and Draya.
Draya was a naive, young, girl straight out of high school, who was a virgin. Draya had a best friend, whom she's known since the 10th grade, Brianna. Brianna was secretly jealous of Draya, due to Draya getting all the attention from men, Draya's good grades, and the closeness that Draya had with her family.
Brianna wasn't raised with a mother, due to her mother dying in a car accident. The only mother that she knew was, Draya's mother. Brianna found out that the rumors about her father, being a homosexual, was indeed true.
Draya had a secret crush on August, and that crush became a reality. August was a sex fiend, but his body craved for Draya. August was in denial that he was indeed in love with Draya, that he hit his feelings in sex with multiple women, Brianna included. Now that he ruined a friendship, Draya decided to walk away from it all. It wasn't until the love of his life was shot, that he realized that she was the one. August is now broken-hearted, and he's on his way to destroy anything in his path to numb the pain that he's feeling. Will he find out who is trying to hurt him....I guess I will soon find out!

What a love affair!
There were a few errors but I must say kudos to Sol. There were so many times I wish I could punch August, Draya and Brianna. I'm surprised August hasn't had any issues with everything he had going on. Draya was just lost and fell for August one too many times. They had chemistry but she was being dumb a few times. Brianna let her jealousy get the best of her. That chick needed help and should've realized she'd never amount to half the person Draya was to August. I felt bad for Carter because he actually seemed like a good dude that got played over. China is a little suspect to me so I can't take her too serious just yet. After that ending I'm not sure if China actually left or Brianna went too far. I am ready for part 2 because I don't think the person responsible realizes they've awaken the beast in August.

Your book was soooooo good to the point where I couldn't put it down.... That ending OMG!!! had me in tears.... So please tell me Draya isn't dead... I love what her and August got going on even though he has some issues, Smh! but he loves her. Honestly I don't think August knows how to love and he's scared of ppl leaving bc he never had family. August was just letting himself love and open up but you just can't take it away, Lol!! Is Draya going to live? Or is she completely dead? It's three ppl who I think could have shot her... Great Story!!!!

This was different kind of storyline and I appreciate the fact that the author thought outside the box , I invested to much time in this book for it to be a sequel or trilogy some books aren't meant to be EL James . I didn't like the violence I'm tired of reading books with death and violence . We see that everyday in real life as a escape I don't want to read about it . All in all good book . The abrupt ending threw it off .

Worst story ever. I mean Draya has to be the dumbest character ever made. Constantly getting played by the main character August. August constantly having raw sex with every female. & get this he sleeps with Drayas best friend and Draya still goes back to him and calls him her man. The most childish, juvenile, disgusting book I have ever read. I only rated this book one star because there's nothing less, but honestly it doesn't deserve any damn stars. Don't waste your time.

I definitely think this is the same book as Mr. Steal Your Girl by this author. I've been waiting for part 2 to that book for months, overlooking this one- not realizing this is the same book. The only difference is the characters have different names. Anyways, I honestly could not stand any of the characters in this book nonetheless, I liked the storyline.

An Okay Read ...
I gave this story a solid 4 Stars. It wasn't until I was almost half way through the book when the storyline made an appearance. Slowly but surely, it made its way into the light. I am hoping the next installment gives me THAT excitement I have been craving!

Embarrassing
The way Draya and B were acting was embarrassing. I do like reading about drama but the way these women are acting over these dudes is pathetic. So Draya was August worth it? She will never be able to answer that. Smh
