From the moment she first stumbled into Professor Williamson's creative writing class, Tomiko made herself known as someone whose brilliance was only matched by her beauty. She is a poet whose talent cannot be paralleled. A trans-woman who writes frankly about her personal trials and tribulations. A confident, self-assured woman that any man would fall in love with. She quickly becomes a rising star within the university's English department.

But Professor Williamson is old fashioned. He doesn't have affairs with students. Even after she graduates, he still cannot bring himself to take their relationship to the next level.

But Tomiko's determined to change all of that. After a little wine and some light flirting, she makes her first move... which leads to a little toe-curling, hair-tugging fun for everyone!

About the author

Sakura von Sternberg

I am Sakura von Sternberg: educator, activist, and writer of dorky-ass erotic fiction. I mostly write transgender and femdom erotica, with a heavy emphasis on science-fiction and horror. I typically use erotica as an outlet for all of my geeky obsessions: anime, space opera, Lovecraftian horror, gothic fiction, etc. If asked to describe my forte, I would say that I strive to create sensual erotic narratives with a splash of filth, a touch of humor, and a dash of old-school SF world-building. So if the idea of randy space pirates, genderqueer cyborgs, and magical girls all getting it on strikes your fancy, you've come to the right place.

Sakura herself lives somewhere in the lonesome crowded Mid-West with her life partner and two cats. She is an English teacher and freelance editor. She has not told any of her students about her secret life as an erotica author. She also really likes Thai food.

You’re thrust straight into the story and I liked that. The characters are instantly relatable in an almost charming way. Which is difficult to do in an erotica story, so the author did well. Very well.

The story moved swiftly, poetically even if I may be so bold. (You’ll get that when you read the story) There were a couple of spelling errors, literally two and neither hurt the story in an even minute manner. The author was aces with this story.

The story being told from the professors point of view was huge. I think it aided the power and fluidity of the story a great deal.

I learned and also discovered my new favorite word reading this story. ‘Somnambulist’. The medical definition is: ‘An abnormal condition of sleep in which motor acts (as walking) are performed.’ There, now you’ve learned something new too! Ain’t learning fun. ;)

Back to the review…

Usually I hate pauses…in the story. Like that one. But in this story they helped bring the emotions of the characters to life. There were a couple of moments when the pauses didn’t help, and were unnecessary, but those moments were over quickly and you were right back to reading and enjoying the story.

Now to mention what I didn’t like before ending the story on a positive note.

I’ll be honest. I didn’t like the professor constantly referring to Tomiko’s cock as her ‘little c**k’. That was weird, even a little creepy. But that’s my only complaint.

The sex in this story…wow. It was brilliantly done. Perfectly written, inventive and just absolutely filthy which I loved.

I enjoyed this shortie A LOT. The best part for me was beautiful, slick writing. I love that in erotica. In fact, I wish there were a whole lot more to this story. I would have liked some of the unspoken tension between, maybe in class or in meetings with colleagues. I would have loved to know where their relationship went from that first encounter. What conflict arises for them? How do they resolve it?

This book was a small bite of a relationship, and the writing was excellent, hence five-stars. But seriously, I'd love to read the novel that sprouts from this shortie. Write it, Sakura.
