Great story! Devon, an openly gay high school senior, finds himself getting more than he bargained for after a romp by the bleachers with one of the football players. He winds up being viciously attacked by a vampire. Devon starts to change little by little, getting that toned muscular body that he would never have dreamed of, eating meat when he's always been a vegetarian, and of course growing fangs. The best part, it seems his gaydar is in top form. Tyler, one of the other guys on the team, becomes enchanted with Devon and actually uses scissors to bleed out enough for Devon to turn him. Now we have two horny teenagers who can't get enough of each other! Whoops, one problem, Devon's maker Yorick is not gonna be happy with this. What to do? Get rid of him? Easier said than done. With the help of Tyler and his witch friend, Minerva, they set out to do just that. Mission accomplished. I was starting to feel bad that Yorick lost his head over Devon but thought better of it as I found out later that he really was using Devon for a buffet table knowing he was going away to college where there was plenty of entrees to choose from. Not only do Devon and Tyler dive fang first into the college life, but spring break in Rio turns out to be a Latino love/food fest as well. Stay thirsty my friends ... hot hot hot
the opening scene sets the hormones racing and the horniness level from the start.
Devon is out at school and this comes with its share of pros and cons. pro is that he gets its on with one of the football team Brett on a regular basis. con is he has to suffer the common place slurs from Brett's teammates.
Devon wants the relationship to be a two way street but before anything can happen Brett is killed and he is left for dead.
enter Yorick, an English vampire. Something is Devon disks his interest and its saves his life but condemns him to an immortal existence.
Yorick is horny and nasty, keeping Devon guessing as to what he can or can't have....or who he can or can't have.
add in a sexy blonde and a witch for a best friend and you have a paranormal treat.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and has to take a few deep breaths to call myself as PJ knows how to write them hot

Talk about difficult choices! Devon is attacked one evening, and after he leaves the hospital, he notices that he's slowly developing unusual powers. He gets a late night visitor, who announces his name was Yorick, he was a vampire, and had chosen Devon to be his companion. Will Devon choose to be a violent killer, or lead a peaceful existence? Get this great book and see for yourself.
