All I can say is WOW!!! These young ladies did their thing. Each story has its own personality. Even as an adult there were lessons for me to learn. What a way to start! To be young, gifted, talented, and willing to take a chance. We all need to take a page out of their books. Brilliant!!!

The Perfect Present is a hysterical, heart warming collection of three Christmas stories by Morgan Billingsley, Gabrielle Simone, and Jackie Lee, and the book is the ultimate gift for middle grade readers. The first story "Operation Santa is Real" is about the M and M twins who always stick together no matter what! Michelle fears their bond is tearing after an argument with her brother Max. Can she save their bond in time for Christmas? Only time will tell. The second story is "Friending the Grinch" where Jasmine and her cousin Tionna get a rude awakening in their home and town. Jayla came through town hurting Jasmine and lying about it. And when Jasmine shows a bit of compassion, Jayla confesses her wrong and flips things around. Some people are proved wrong and all is well. OR IS IT ?! The third story, "Kylie: The Smallest Elf," introduces Kylie about the smallest elf at Santa`s workshop. When she tries to help by making a machine to cut down work and produce more presents, Kylie fails and feels worthless. She nearly ruins Christmas and is transferred to the naughty list because she hurt Santa! When Santa recovered, he announces Kylie his #2 elf!
