[Book 3 of 4]
Five characters seek survival and understanding as the world around them crumbles, dissolved to dust by The Ravagers, microscopic machines with only one goal.

Total destruction.

They'll need their wits, courage, and strength to survive, for the Ravagers aren't the most destructive force they'll face. Sometimes, greater destruction comes from within, from learning more about yourself than you ever feared, getting answers to questions best not answered.

Sometimes, answers don't bring enlightenment.

They bring death.

I am a lifelong Ohio resident, where I live with my wife and three children. When I'm not trying to be in three places at once with my active youngsters, I'm following local professional and collegiate sports teams, or possibly unscrambling a Rubik's Cube. In lieu of sleep, I read and write fiction.

My debut novel, A QUESTION OF WILL, explores themes of technological advancement, human potential (good and bad), and the love bonding a family together. It reached the Amazon Top 100 in Science Fiction -> High Tech less than a week after publication. The sequels--PRESERVING HOPE, ASCENT OF THE ALIOMENTI, and BIRTH OF THE ALLIANCE--continue to follow Will's adventures, bringing to life the technological and Energy advances he's achieved in entirely new settings.

I am currently drafting the fifth of seven novels in the series.

While I have enjoyed reading the books from the start enough to keep me interested to find out where all this was going, the first two books really felt to me like they were just killing time and drawing out the storylines as much as possible. Man, do they pick up their pace real fast in this book. I consider this the best book of the series so far. Some of the new information revealed in each plot lined seemed a bit of a stretch at first. However, while I did find myself smirking at some of the new twists Albrinck threw at us, they grew on me and I definitely can’t wait to read the next book.

So far the best book in series. Finally the plot line and characters start to come together and ties to Will Stark saga appear. Definitely looking forward to read the next part!
Ravagers series should definitely be read after all the Stark books as otherwise loads of things simply wouldn't make sense (and lots of connections missed).

You could download these first 3 books in the series for free on Google play books.

The story became more interesting as many secrets was unveiled in this volume. The mastermind behind the catastrophe also being unveiled, and its time to plan for the counterattack. The length of the book also doubled here 🤣
Its just the fourth book no longer free 😅

Drat! Trapped in a series that is steadily deteriorating. I rated book one 4 and book two 3. Book three barely gets it's ugly head above a 2. But, I'll read book four just to see what happens.

So, this now ties up with this author's previous series, and the fight for good over evil continues.
There are some startling revelations, but as usual this author deliveres a spellbinding episode.

I really enjoy this series for its relation to the real world. All the characters are interesting and develop well throughout the story. I have one more book left in this series and I can’t wait to read it.

Alex you have done it again! You set up a great story and now as I finish Deviate I can not wait for the next book!!! It's awesome to see familiar characters starting to emerge. As the secret identities are being revealed, it's like seeing an old friend again. Great job Alex!
