Sherilee Gray Axle Alley Vipers:

Revved is book two in the Axle Alley Vipers series by Sherilee Gray. This book was generously provided to me in exchange for an honest review by the author.

When I read book one of this series, Crashed, I fell in love with it. But when I love a book that much, I worry that the next book might not be as good. Well, I needn’t have worried because I loved this one just as much. This series is just so amazing.

.:

In this one we get to know Rusty West, one of the three co-owners of West Restoration, along with her sister Piper and Alex whom we met in the first book. Rusty loves what she does and she’s good at it. Their business is thriving and they have been getting some customers from R.I.P. Restoration across town which was a much bigger and more well known shop. Rusty’s life revolves around work and her two friends/co-owners/sisters. She doesn’t date, she actually has very little experience with men. And then Reid Parker walked in to her shop.

Reid was the owner of R.I.P. He had built his shop from the ground up and then expanded to nine more shops across the country. So he doesn’t take kindly to finding out that a little shop across town has been stealing his customers. So he decided to check out the competition. What he saw impressed him. They did quality work the old fashioned way, did everything themselves. And then he met one of the owners, the most beautiful red head he has ever seen. He decided right then and there that he had to have this business, and it’s owner.

Revved, Sherilee Gray:

“There was a lot more beneath the pretty package, and he wanted to unwrap every layer and discover all her secrets one by one.”

 :

Reid has a dark past, a past that genes say is inside of him as well. He can’t ever do to someone he cares about what was done to him. So he has resigned himself to a life free of emotional commitments. He will get to know Rusty, get her out of his system, and buy her business. That will be the end of it. Or will it?

teepeed house:

Rusty doesn’t trust easily. She has her own past that haunts her. But the more time she spends with Reid, the more her walls come down.

“What was she getting herself into? He overwhelmed her, excited her, scared the crap out of her. There was more between them than just lust, she felt it, saw it in the way he looked at her, heard it in the things he said.”

Reid and Rusty are like gasoline to fire. They combust when they are together. The more time they spend together, the more they both start to see a different future, one with each other in it, one with love. But the past has a way of coming back into the picture when you least expect it. The question is, will they be strong enough to withstand it, or not?

Revved, Sherilee Gray:

This book was so amazing. I could not put it down. These two made me swoon, sigh, smile and shake my head. And yes, there was plenty of steam. The things Reid said curled my toes. And I love that we got some glimpses of Alex and Deke from book one to see how they were doing. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series, Wrecked, which will be Piper’s story.

“Rusty made him a better man, made him see himself as he is, not what he believed himself to be.”

4 - "Grease looks good on you." Stars!

I have to admit I was a little bit wary when I started the second book in the Axle Alley Vipers series, after the first book Crashed; Deke and Alex’s story left me a little underwhelmed. Luckily Revved lived up to its name, and Reid and Rusty’s story kept me well entertained, and pretty Revved up to it’s end.

I liked that the author gave this couple a slower build to boiling point than in the previous book. Rusty is wary of men, and dirty talking, Reid took the right route in building their connection steadily. It gave them a tension and sizzle that simmered nicely and kept me engaged, and when they finally do get together the author made it totally worth the wait.

"You are so full of it, it’s not even funny."

The drama is well paced, with a few lighter points to keep it moving along, and although towards the end gets a little heavy in its doses, I had fallen in love with the pair of them by that point, and it felt relevant, so it didn’t detract from my overall enjoyment of the story-line that the author gave them, it worked really well especially with their pasts and the issues that they were dealing with, as a couple and separately.

"I want that fire… I want all of it."

It was good to catch up with Alex and Deke, as well be given a slight taste of the sexual tension humming between Piper and Cole, (Wrecked; due for release, February 2016) it made me hopeful that there is a potentially stellar read on my TBR for early 2016.

"Okay, fine. I’ll admit it… You don’t completely suck."

Revved

Revved by Sherilee Gray is the second book in the Axle Alley Vipers series. I'm not sure where to start with this one because I absolutely loved this book. I've been waiting for Rusty's book since I finished the first one! So, to go over technical information. Revved is told from third person point-of-view between the main two characters, Rusty and Reid. It can completely be read as a standalone novel, you don't need to reach Crashed to enjoy Revved. It is a full novel, with an HEA and no cliffhanger. Unless you count the fact that you'll be seriously on pins and needles waiting for Piper's story once you finish it. ;)

I think what stands out the most for me in this book, and in the series overall is that these women are strong, confident and they have their heads on straight when it comes to business. They are competing, more or less, in a male driven industry, and they are going out there and kicking the guys butts. So you know they can take care of themselves but at the same time, they have their own issues and problems, and things are usually what they seem.

In Revved, you get to focus on Rusty. She's the red-headed welder of the group. At West Restoration, she's the girl you'll typically find with grease on her cheek, and coveralls tied around her waist. She's hard headed and stubborn and she does not date. In fact, she could care less about giving any guy the time of day. That is, until Reid Parker walks into the shop and knocks her for a loop.

Reid is a self-made man. He has drug himself up by his bootstraps from a past that is definitely not easy. Determined and stubborn, and sometimes misguided, he does have a soft side. We can't forget to mention that he's a cocky male too, one that is used to getting his way with women. So when all his customers suddenly start taking business elsewhere, to a no name shop, in the middle of what he thinks is the ghetto, he decides to investigate for himself. He wasn't expecting Rusty anymore than she was expecting him.

Rusty fights the attraction tooth and nail, while Reid decides he has to have her... and her West Restoration too. These two have extreme chemistry, even with Rusty trying to fight it and Reid having ulterior motives. Both have to take a step back and reassess things and where it is all going. Things crop up as usual and problems ensue.. and they sort of bash heads.. a lot.

Overall, I don't think I could express how much I enjoyed this book. The characters are different, they are complex and while you get a feel for the co-stars, the book does stay focused on the main characters. I believe that may be why it translates so well as a standalone within a series. It's definitely worth a shot to give it a read. Me? I give if five fantastic stars!

3.5 Stars

Overall Opinion: This was just above "just ok" for me. The abrupt ending (one of my biggest pet peeves btw) sealed the fact that it wasn't 4 stars. Otherwise -- It was pretty low drama, had some steamy times, and an easy read.

Storyline: This is Rusty and Reid's story, They meet when Reid goes to Rusty's to check out the competing garage that has been stealing customers from his restoration business, and is shocked to find that the garage is owned by 3 females. The sparks fly immediately, especially when Rusty starts throwing attitude. Rusty has been hurt in the past, and even though she acknowledges that she is beautiful she has trust issues with men. She wants to be seen for more than just a beautiful woman. Reid soon learns that he will have to earn her trust to get anywhere with her, and he is up for the challenge. They start a relationship that quickly changes into something more serious (which neither of them have experience with). After fighting some personal demons for both of them, some hot sexy times, and some poor communication...they find their HFN.

POV: This alternated between focusing on Rusty and Reid in third person narrative.

Overall Pace of Story: Good. No slow parts, and no instalove.

H rating: 3 stars. Reid. I wish he communicated better.

h rating: 3.5 stars. Rusty. I appreciated her characterization in that he had issues with her looks because others couldn't seem to recognize there was more to her than her looks, and that it wasn't the usual beautiful girl that is insecure and doesn't know she is beautiful scenario.

Sadness level: Low. No tissues needed.

Heat level: Moderate. There are some hot steamy times.

Descriptive sex: Yes.

Sex scene with OW or OM:

Cheating:

Possible Triggers:

Closure: Way too abrupt of an ending for me. I like my closure, and I think the most I could say is that it was a HFN ending. An epilogue with a time jump would've done wonders IMO.

Worth the $?: Meh. Yeah I guess. It was only $2.99...I'm not too heartbroken I lost that.

Reid Parker owns multiple car restoration shops. When some of his prime business is going to a rival shop he goes to investigate, only to find an all woman shop with top grade work...but what captures his attention the most was a fiery and very sexy woman, Rusty, at the wheel. Now Reid has found two things he must have West Restorations and Rusty West.

Rusty, her sister and best friend have taken over her dad's restoration shop, West Restorations. They are known for the quality and workman (or should I say workwoman) ship. Rusty doesn't have much trust or use for a man, so when her belly quivers at the sight of her competition, Rusty does everything she can to avoid him.

Lots of sexual tension makes the boiling attraction explode in this marvelous contemporary romance.

I couldn't help thinking of the common restoration shows that have crowded the airwaves lately while reading, Revved. My only thought was, how great would it be to have a female ran garage...it would be the making of an awesome TV show especially if it was anything like this incredible story.

Rusty is strong, independent, motivated and absolutely one smart cookie.

I absolutely loved delving into these pages and can't wait for more.

I received this ARC copy of Revved from Entangled Publishing, LLC - Indulgence in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication October 5, 2015.

The meet-cute was quite hot. As always, SG’s writing style is on-point. I was interested from start to finish.

Both H/h were hesitant to trust each other. Heroine is a born again virgin as her only experience was during prom and the dude just did it with her to win a bet. It wasn’t even a fun experience so she never really dated or hooked up with anyone after that. Hero is kinda manwhore-ish before, never in a serious relationship coz he had an abusive childhood and he was scared to turn into his father.

H/h were into each other but Hero first thought he just needs to get the h out of his system. Things get serious until H breaks up with her coz he punches the h’s sleazy ‘ex’. He was scared that he will turn physically abusive like his dad. Heroine tries to move on, H realizes he doesn’t want that. He grovels. And then, heroine sees the business contract for her shop so she thought H seduced her just to get her shop. She breaks up with him, H says at first his intention was to get the shop but changed his mind when they met and he got to know her. They break up. Abusive dad shoots the H for an unrelated issue. Heroine rushes to the hospital and finally they get together again.. HEA

Not 5 stars for me coz the consecutive misunderstandings and breakups were kinda too much. The smexy times were pretty hot, no cheating during their breaks, no ow/om drama really from the time they met.

Had to reread due to book 3 finally being released. Wanted to refresh my mind.
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

2 was better than 1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I laughed, got a bit chocked up and had a few stomach drop moments but I loved it! I'm still laughing thinking about certain moments.

The only complaint I have right now is that we get a HFN and I like to know more about my couples. We don't even get an epilogue and those are my fav. Boos

Rusty is part owner of West's Restorations. She and her sisters have worked hard getting to where they are now with their business. Reid is the owner of R.I.P. Classics. He has shops everywhere, going after everything he wants to stay ahead of the game with a no hold barred attitude.

 photo image_zpsxrkgitqp.jpeg

Reid becomes frustrated after losing business to someone in Miami so he does some digging and finds out his new competitor is West Restoration. When he arrives at their shop he's blown away, realizing he loves their work and wants their talent, Reid is determined to stop at nothing to own their business and have them work for him. His plan is simple. Charm his way into Rusty's life, gain her heart and trust by sleeping with her, have her sign over the company and then leave her. He wants West's Restoration to be his and doesn't care how he gets it or who he hurts. He's kind of a douche.

Unfortunately for Reid, Rusty is locked tight and sealed. The only people she trusts are her brother and two sisters. That is it. She was burned bad a long time ago and it eats at her everyday. So she gives Reid a run for his money. She's also far from a pushover, would never let a man walk all over her and will never give up her company.

Rusty and Reid's past are pretty sad. There were times in the beginning where I was thinking Jesus lady, calm your tits or really wanting to throat punch Reid. However once everything was revealed I felt like a jerk, because both really needed a hug.

Even though Reid at times came off as a dick, I loved him. He was hot, he was dark and he was all male. Yummy.

Haha this story is entertaining. I read it in one sitting. I laughed through most of it. Like I said I'm disgruntled there was no epilogue or even another chapter to kind of end the story because really the book just ends. There isn't a cliffhanger. The ending sneaks up on you and I swear I was looking for more pages.

I sometimes have to wonder if Rusty knows what she's doing to Reid, "her hand went to his knee, green eyes wide, sincere. “That’s a really nice thing to do.” Trying to keep his ***k under control around this woman was hard enough, but when she put her hands on him?" Reid isn't shy he just blurbs out what he's thinking, “I was stroking my ***k the whole time you talked to me. Your voice makes me so hard, my balls ache. So effing hard I had no choice but to take my ***k in my hand and get myself off while I listened to you. I finished before our phone call did.” I liked this book Reid was dominant and strong and Rusty was feisty and didn't let Reid get away with things.

Reid owns ten auto body restoration businesses across the country. He's successful and driven. When he notices he's losing customers at his Miami location, he goes to check out their competition. Reid is not expecting his competition to be the hottest woman he's ever seen. Rusty is part owner of West Restoration. She loves working on cars. She had a really bad experience years ago with a guy and because of that, she doesn't date. Reid wants Rusty's business but he also wants a night with Rusty. Rusty doesn't want a man and she doesn't trust them anyways. She would never put herself or her business as risk for a man.

I loved this story. Rusty was a kick-ass heroine. She's successful in a career that is rare for a woman - she restores cars. She's smart and tough, This book had fantastic sexual tension with the best payoff! This was super HOT and had really great steamy scenes. I really loved this one and can't wait to read the next book in this series!

Once again, the Vipers of Axle Alley have me cheering for them. After reading Deacon's and Alex's story not long ago, I knew that the Axle Alley women had tales that I needed to get into...and soon. In what's essentially a rivals-to-lovers story, Rusty West is forced to confront her own demons about relationships when Reid Parker strolls into her compound with the intention of buying her business out. It isn't long before their personal issues come into play...and threaten to wipe out their fledgling relationship.

Written with lots of panache, Sherilee Gray channels Tessa Bailey and this is never more apparent in 'Revved', where the dirty-talking heroes - men who are obsessively possessive and barely keep themselves from falling off the chauvinistic edge - reign supreme, fall in love, screw up and grovel big time. But really, I'd say that 'Revved' is Rusty journey to her Happy Ever After and the strength and irrepressible attitudes of all the women here almost make the men inconsequential, even if the guy in question is Reid Parker, the tattooed and rough-around-the edges rival of West Restoration and the king of one-nighters. Rusty and Reid give each other the runaround a little too much though - the steamy scenes didn't always seem completely necessary - and with a rather abrupt ending that was rather unsatisfying, I could only cheer myself up with the fact that there's still Piper's unfinished business with Cole to come.

My first by the author and definitely not my last. These lady mechanics are smoking hot but there's so much more to them. Rusty's insecurities made her a very likeable character. She was unique and as vulnerable as the rest of us despite her gorgeous state. Reid is a complex dude with a lot more to offer than meets the eye. Their chemistry is on point and need I say that the loving is scorching hottt?

All in all this was a good book. It had just enough of a bite and a lot of heat to keep it interesting. Wasn't a fan of the female MC, Rusty West. I expected so much more from her in terms of being fierce, feisty and strong. Instead she was childish, immature and a coward. I love me an alpha male and Reid Parker was right up my alley. He was all growly, possessive, strong and delicious.

Now for the next and final book in this series. Piper's story.

This review also appears on Pretty Sassy Cool.

I haven't read the first book in this series, but you can believe that I will be reading it after this one!

Sassy and fun Rusty has sworn off men because she's sick and tired of being judged for being beautiful.

don't hate

She doesn't even know what hit her when cocky Reid Parker walks in the door of her shop. He's investigating why he's losing business to rival West Restorations, only to come face to face with fiery Rusty. He decides he's got to have both her--and the shop. He doesn't realize that Rusty isn't your typical girl who just does whatever he wants. He's determined to win her over and she's determined not to let him. When the two of them get together, well, let's just say it's hot.

hotttt

I really liked a lot of things about this book. You know how I feel about dirty talkers, and Reid's got it fo sho. I loved their chemistry and I loved them together. They have some drama, but it's not over the top, and they have great banter. If I could have changed anything, it would be that it was in first person, rather than third, so that's my issue. Oh, and I would have liked more at the end, but I'm hoping we get more of them in the next book in the series. Revved was a quick, fun read that was just what I needed.

Reid Parker is not happy that someone is stealing his business at this car restoration shop and he wants answers. When he shows up at West Restoration he is not prepared for Rusty West, she is the most stunning woman he has ever met and the attitude she radiates turns him on big time. When he finds out that West Restoration is owned by three woman he is stunned, this is a mans job. A battle of the wills and sexes is drawn and only one will claim victor.

Delicious. The chemistry is off the charts, the sass is in full blaze and Reid is pure alpha male. He wants Rusty, but he doesn't date and when he finds himself breaking his own rules he decides he needs Rusty as much as he needs his own breath. Loved it, new to me author and I cannot wait to read more.

Loved both Reid and Rusty, they were strong, stubborn and very entertaining characters.
I enjoyed watching their relationship develop, there was never any doubt these two passionate people belonged together. Their chemistry was off the charts!

I'm loving the Axle Alley Vipers series and while each book can be read as a standalone I highly recommend you read them all. Can't wait for Piper's and Cole's book next in Wrecked

This was a very entertaining story about two stubborn people falling in love. Rusty is a female mechanic working in her own restoration garage with her best friend and her sister; making it the only shop with a female only crew: all of them inked, bad-ass and full of spunk.

Then there’s Reid our alpha, growly, dirty mouthed mechanic and owner of several shops around the city.

Our couple meets when Reid discovers that they are losing customers to some unknown little garage in the not so good part of town, and he decides to go check out the competition.

He was certainly not expecting the hot as hell red head beauty to be the owner, or that she would light a fire in his gut.

Reid grew up with an abusive father, who still likes to come around from time to time, making him wary of getting into relationships.

Rusty and her siblings were left behind by their mother and she had a bad experience with the opposite sex in her youth, and having had a hot bod’ since her early teens, is more than gun-shy when involving the male population (who, let’s keep it real ladies, can often be pigs) and trusting in general.

Their chemistry is crazy, Reid is a very hands-on and take control kind of male and the sexy scenes between them are fantastic. Ms. Gray sure knows how to give us a hot alpha dirty talker.

Rusty was the kind of chick I can root for, all tough bad-ass on the outside but with vulnerability, a heart of gold and not crazy comfortable with her looks.

I felt their issues as a couple could have been resolved with a little less back and forth, and the last hurrah! was a bit overly dramatic and unnecessary (if it had been dealt with before hand). Even though I wasn’t crazy about this development, I can’t really say it took out much of the enjoyment of the overall reading experience.

I wish there had been an epilogue, it’s one of my favorite things in a book really. I guess I’ll have to read Piper’s story to get a glimpse at what Reid and Rusty are up to… not that that’ll be a hardship as Revved was a very well written story. I’m kind of looking forward to who’ll have the balls to get the last single Axle Alley Viper.

After being hurt and humiliated years ago by a man she thought cared for her, Rusty West decided to take herself permanently off the market and swore off men all together. She then focused all of her attention on her work, giving old cars new life is her passion now, and she thoroughly enjoys working in the body shop with her two best friends. Together the three of them have made West Restoration one of the most newly successful auto body shops in town, and have even stole business away from their competitors. And one of their competitors is not real happy about losing business, so he decides to take matters into his own hands and see just who is tramping on his territory....

Reid Parker has been the town's leader in the auto body business for a long time, and until recently customers were steadily walking through the door. After finding out there is another auto body business in town that is stealing his customers from right under his nose, he decides to pay this garage a visit, and give the guys running it a piece of his mind. Once he arrives at the shop he receives the shock of a lifetime, he never expected it to be three women running West Restoration. After meeting Rusty, Reid is intrigued, he decides that he must do whatever it takes to own her business and have her crew working for him, but she's not selling...

I was thrilled about making a return visit to the Axle Alley Vipers series, I thoroughly enjoyed the first installment and was eager to see what Ms. Gray had in store for these ladies. And I have to say she did not disappoint, this installment was equally as amazing as the first! Reid and Rusty were perfect for each other, I enjoyed the banter between them, and their chemistry was off the charts!! Definitely another can't miss addition to this series, highly recommend you meet the ladies of Axle Alley Vipers series, they will have you laughing, smiling, and cheering them on the whole way through!!

The Axle Alley Vipers are here again - and you actually learn how they got that nickname in this book! West Restoration is a car shop run by the two West sisters and their best friend. With an intelligent, highly successful business woman, mechanic and superb vehicle restorer as the leading lady you just know this is going to be different! With her sister and friend they make a formidable trio, succeeding in a normally male dominated trade. When they start gaining business at the expense of Reid Parker’s workshops he decides to investigate with the intention of buying them out, taking on their staff and expanding his number of businesses to eleven. Imagine his surprise when he discovers they’re all female! Not only that but the first one he met, Rusty West, is stunning, feisty and hot. He’s instantly attracted but she doesn’t date. She, however, doesn’t trust men, doesn’t date and would never put her business at risk by going out with him . . . or will love find a way?

This plot is brilliant. The working relationships and support systems of the feisty females as they take on all comers shines through the entire story. All the characters are well developed and more is revealed of them - including some of the less prominent ones like Law - as the story progresses. It is so easy to empathise with them because the story is well written. I particularly liked the way secrets of Reid’s upbringing and how it is impacting on his life now are revealed. The author makes the scenarios and developments all seem to flow so realistically. This is a great read as the main characters move from rivals to lovers but there are many things to throw a spanner in the works as they journey towards their HEA. (Sorry, couldn’t resist!)

This is a great story with great, well developed characters together with plenty of feisty and hot action - I can’t wait to read the third story in this series!

Thanks to the author, publishers and NetGalley, too for provided an ARC for me to read in exchange for this, my honest review.

They have some drama, but it's not over the top, and they have great banter. If I could have changed anything, it would be that it was in first person, rather than third, so that's my issue. Oh, and I would have liked more at the end, but I'm hoping we get more of them in the next book in the series. With hot chemistry, sassy heroine, and a dirty-talking hero, Revved was a quick, fun read that was just what I needed.

Revved is the second book in the Axle Alley Vipers series by Sherilee Gray and its just as good as the first book! It just sucked me in from the start and had to finish it! I loved Rusty and Reid's story! They seemed so real that I felt I could be friends with them! I just love the dynamic of the female best friends owning a car restoration business and doing the work themselves! I love how they push the barriers of women working in a so-called man's world. They do it with finesse and are winning against the competition!

Rusty West has sworn off men and relationships. But she changes her tune when Reid Parker, the owner of a competitor, walks into their shop. He's smoking hot, all rough around the edges, and sexy as hell! When Reid walked into the shop to check them out, he never expected the fiery redhead who threatens every rule he has about women. After getting to know her, he decides she's worth breaking every single one of them. But can Rusty trust him?? Can Reid let her get close given his family history??? So many issues for them to work through. Hold on! It's an up and down ride!

This is definitely a must-read book and series! Everything that happened is totally believable and realistic. There's no forced storyline or out of this world scenario. Just real people meeting and working through their own baggage while falling in love. That's what sets this series apart from the rest! Sherilee Gray has a winning formula which she delivers on a silver platter! So good that we just eat it up! I haven't had enough of the Axle Alley Vipers and look forward to reading the third book featuring Piper!

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I haven't read the first book in this series, and while this book can be read as a standalone, I still wish I read the previous book. Maybe I would have more insight as to the relationship between the main characters as well as their backstory. Not that these things weren't touched throughout the book. However, I would have liked to read about the main characters when they were just secondary characters on another book.

Anyway, enough of my rambling. This is going to be another short review because I feel like giving short reviews today. If the previous review I wrote had me geeling like the main characters lacked passion and intensity, those things were not lacking in this book. I mean, given their pasts and experiences, the main characters seemed to be driven to unnecesary bouts of jealousy. But hey, jealousy is good as oppsed to apathy, right? At least these people can really make the pages burn.

I enjoyed this book. I haven't read anything from this author, but this book has gotten me intrigued enough to want to continue reading the next book when it's available. I may also want to check out the first book,. which is Alex's story. Anyway, I liked this book, and this is a good one to check out.

This was a lovely little surprise!

Rusty was a dream of a heroine, super fiesty and packs a punch when you piss her off, but also really sweet and innocent when it came to men. I loved that she owned a garage and wasn't afraid to get her hand dirty, proving that it isn't just a Mans world.

Reid was a little different, I started off disliking him as he came across self assured cocky and arrogant(typical alpha man faults) but his reasoning for being a rustys shop is what annoyed me more. Though soon enough he changed my mind. Sexy confident and demanding he just oozes sex appeal, and the way he treated rusty was so lush.

Together they're chemistry was off the charts explosives and the bedroom activities.... Yummy!;) I loved how they blended together like two piece of a puzzle fitting seamlessly into each others lives.

Confession.. I haven't read the first book in the series (alex and rustys brother) which I'm off to do know! But I did love the secondary characters and I can't wait for pipers book!;)

All in all the book was a easy light read for me, not much drama/angst, loads of loving funny moments to giggle at plenty of hot steamy moments to be well jel at!;)

I read the first book in the series and while it was an okay read for me, I think that this one definitely hit all the pluses for me in comparison and I enjoyed it quite a lot. Rusty is a no-nonsense gal, a beautiful woman who happens to be very talented as a car restorer. But she gets tired of men who only see her looks and not the rest of her. When she first meets Reid, it seems like he's going to be just like all the other men she's encountered, but he's as attracted to her fiery wit and her passion for cars as he is to her beauty. Though Reid sometimes came across as a bit of jerk, he redeemed himself well when you got to know the reasons for his actions. He soon realizes that Rusty doesn't want to be treated like another notch on his bedpost and though they share some sexy scenes together (and I do mean sexy!), it's her heart that he soon realizes is what he wants, since she's already claimed his. This doesn't stop him from making some foolish moves of course, and I liked that Rusty made him work for her forgiveness. Overall, a great entry in the series. 4 stars.

I began Revved without realizing that this was a second book. Rest assured that was not an issue in the least. It is obvious that there was more to the story for Alex and her Fiance, but it did not hinder this experience, and is very effective as a stand alone novel. Rusty and Reid were explosive in this story with chemistry off the charts. Be sure to prepare it might cause you to the sweat. The concept of these vibrant beautiful intelligent women living their dreams in a man's world is perfect. They offer women with sass and know how to handle themselves. Couple that with men that will be in a consistent struggle to overcome their alpha desire to protect, and the overwhelming determination to cherish their woman proves enough to melt any reader. These are my favorite! Being that I am far from girly it is nice to follow a story I can find I relate. Reid and Rusty's story is very quick, and highly entertaining. For those needing a a strong story to whisk you away for a fast romantic adventure this is the book for you.

I enjoyed Book 2 of the Axle Alley Vipers series much more than the first. it was a much better story. It mad me laugh, sad and at times frustrated. I love a book that gets you involved. There was a little predictability in the story but it still good. They were both commitment shy. Rusty was still hurt from something that happened in her past. She is very defensive when it comes to her looks and the interest of ant man. Reid had a rough childhood and felt that he had to focus on his career to prove that he was better than his past. Rusty is the competition. He wants to get close to her so that he can buy their garage. As they get to know each other, they find themselves in a relationship. Reid was very possessive and jealous and we get too see that throughout the story. I love that the built up to a relationship. They didn't fall into bed straight away. Which falls in line with Rusty's character. I am really liking the series. I look forward to the next book with Piper.

Revved is the first book written by Sherilee that I've read and I can't say enough good things about it. It was fantastic from beginning to end. I loved that Rusty and the gals were tearing it up in what is usually looked at as a man's world. That they were such close friends and were doing what they loved together. It's what brings Reid into her life, but it definitely isn't what keeps him there. They have a sizzling chemistry that will take them way out of their comfort zone and will rock their worlds. Hot damn I loved Reid. He is a delicious naughty talking sexy man. I adored Rusty as she was feisty and sassy yet vulnerable too. What a perfect match even through the bumps. I couldn't put the book down and I wanted more of them once it was over. I really can't wait to read more of Sherilee's stories. I really loved this one.

I give Revved 5 hearts!

Awesome read! I really loved this one. Great writing and characters that are fun and real make this a very enjoyable story.

When Reid Parker's car restoration business starts losing customers to another shop he knows he has to find a way to stop it. He decides to visit West Restoration to assess the situation. Once he sees the operation he knows he not only needs to own that shop but the feisty red headed woman that worked there. Rusty West may not be so agreeable to either of those though!

A quick, light, sexy read that I highly recommend.
