This may not be the funniest book I've ever read, but it's certainly compulsive reading. After all, isn't fun at the expense of others just great...
As a collection of (allegedly real) texts, there's enough variety in there to raise a smile, make you cringe and create a desire to get yourself neutered, just in case these awful human beings should text your children. Most people have sent a text that was either unintentionally funny (especially with beer fingers) or regretted sending at a later date, so the content is relatable to many readers.
There is one set of messages per page (contained within a phone image, to make the chat more authentic) and although this seems like a waste of space - there are about 250 chats in the book. Some only a few words, but have longer dialogues. There's enough there to justify the price. There is plenty of profanity in there, so steer clear if you are easily offended. I learned the term fart-box!
An interesting and relevant book for the millennials - a good Christmas gift.
