Loved it
This was a very good read, I was guided to this book because reference in my previous read. It was developed and the characters were relatable. I loved the book and recommend it to be added as your next read

A good girl and goon
This book was good. I loved Khori and August relationship. I don't know what to say about Zay in so many ways I felt bad for especially the way she went out. I was happy that everybody got out.

So cute!!!
I'm in awe of this read. It was a roller coaster, but I enjoyed all the twists and turns. My favorite character by far was August. He was real as they come and his character piqued my interest.

Good
It was a good story. I thought it was on the short side but to finally get a story in one book is amazing these days. The author covered everything and didn't leave us wondering about much in the end. Only What money KZ kept referring to. Did he know about the robberies? I like that August wasn't black because in these urban books, all goons and thugs are black. I would've had a hard time picturing him if she didn't give an example of who he looked like. I kind of ft bad for Zayleigh but she chose her path. The story ended well. It was a good read.

Great plot!
Great plot with lots of scandal! Took several twists I didn't see coming which made it that much more enjoyable. Great read couldn't put it down!

Great book
I absolutely loved this book. From the cover,to the title, and the storyline, this book was great. August was a different type of goon compared to most of the books that I have read. He wasn't a drug dealer, but his hustle was indeed illegal. Khori was escaping a situation that most women pray they don't or won't have to experience. This book has plenty of twist and turns to keep you going. There is not one dull moment in the book. Denetra did an amazing job telling this story.

I LOVED all the characters!!!...they were so real and well defined. August is my dream man!. This book is really good and different from all the rest. Love
When you know what your man does for a living and it just brings your love that much closer!!!! Aug Boi needed somebody to slow him down before he destroyed everything in his path. Khori just needed someone to love after all she been thru!!! And everybody else helped bring the book together. You will not be disappointed. Great book.

So Good
This book was so good from the beginning to the end it captivated me from the beginning. It was not like the norm to see a white boy be so gully was breathtaking. I liked this book so much I think I will read it again. I am glad how things turned out in the end. August will forever hold a spot in my heart.

Good love Story.
This was a really good love story. The writing was really good. I always like to read mix race strokes heck it is apart of the real world. Also happy it was the normal Kingpin stories. This story had a lot substance. I chief Benson wasn't no fool either about his some. Glad everyone got what they wanted and more at the end.

Great read!
This is a great read for anyone who is looking for a good standalone book. The title definitely fits the story. This book is a refreshing change from reading about the drug dealers. August was a hustler, just a different kind and of course it was illegal. I won't say anything else except that this is a must read.

Good read
This was a good read it didn't drag on it was at a steady pace so I'm thankful for that. This book shows just how greed can land you in certain situations that you may can't get out of. If you are looking for a good stand alone read then this is the book for you.

Great standalone
I need me a August, he was perfect was Khori. I loved their relationship and I was so glad that everybody finally accepted it and they could truly be happy. This was a great standalone book and it had me hooked from page 1

Good girls?!
So happy it was a stand alone book! Everybody got what they deserved! The real reasoning behind Tana actions was quit disturbing! Good storyline!
