Spoiler alert: the "S" on FAST means Simplicity. The most difficult thing in life: to keep it simple, find the simplest solution, create the simple strategy that everybody will understand and will love to follow. Gordon has written a simple guide to success where I found tons of hints for what was worrying me at time of reading. I bet you will find it as well. And three more letters is FAST for you to discover.

Focus, Accountability, Simplicity and Transparency are the 4 principles of Gordon Tredgold’s FAST Leadership Model which if applied with the guidance in this book, will guarantee that you leave the rest of the leader pack behind (unless they’ve also read this book in which case you have competition to spur you on!)
Even though this book is addressing leadership in the corporate world, the FAST principles are applicable to the reader in other areas of their lives too. I loved the examples and personal stories, especially his own story about wanting to achieve a personal best in the Athens Marathon by breaking the time barrier of 5 hours. Did Gordon achieve it? I’m not going to spoil the book for future readers but I will say it brought home the point about Transparency.
A must read book that I’m going to be recommending to my colleagues and clients.
