Lea lives in Western New York with her hubby, three children, and miscellaneous critters. Before the rugrats, she lived a life of adventure, following her husband all over Europe with the US military. She’s slept in a car outside Paris, drove six hours just to see tulips in the Netherlands, and knocked ash from her shoes at Pompeii. Now she spends her time in life’s adventures at soccer games, PTA meetings and school plays.

Lea has loved reading from a very young age, spending many sleepless nights devouring books. Science fiction and paranormal were her favorite genres to read as a teenager, and that love bled into her adult life. She started writing during a bout of insomnia, to fill time, and found it filled a creative void. Now she communes regularly with the characters in her head and tries not to laugh out loud when they say something funny.

When Lea isn’t reading, writing or corralling kids, she enjoys watching movies and sciencey shows, or just kicking back and listening to some music.

I found the story of a succubus using phone sex to survive a new one, the blurb promises a sexy erotic romance but with all the emotional reward of a love/mating story. Dominick is nothing but a wizard, not much compared to a demon like Victoria - so he's at disadvantage when it comes to wooing Victoria who's set up such walls she doesn't even bat an eyelash at being in the same room with her mate. Getting flat out rejected like that Dominick needs to come up with another way to date Victoria - and what better way than the anonymity of her Phone Sex Business.

I loved Victoria's coolness, and I loved when she caught herself giggling with Dominick on the line, she was dead set against love, for she'd hurt so many, even killed when she was first turned in the 1920's. I read a Rumi quote yesterday that I think was absolutely beautiful and applies to Victoria as well because it's not only love that breaks our hearts...

"You have to keep breaking your heart until it opens." ~Rumi

I loved to to have fully loved the love story with Victoria and Dominick but few things bothered me enough to drop one star away from the rating. Dominick was snapping with Victoria, when she tried to raise her shields to protect her heart he'd snap, quickly forget and move on, it wasn't that bad but a guy snapping at you for not doing anything worth reprimanding didn't sit well with me. That combined with very little about Victoria's business, the blurb makes you think there will be more hot phone sex around that place, but no and that I would have wanted more. Sure she just worked there, and the story was about their romance - but it was such interesting idea I wanted more world building I suppose.

That said I'm so glad I finally got a chance to read a Lea Barrymire novel! I have been waiting for this day! That girl is awesome, her blogs the bomb and her writing is entertaining as hell! She's a great erotic romance author, she knows how to write her characters with plenty of depth to keep them interesting, with enough soul to be cared and related to, and with tons of sex-appeal to keep your heart racing in all the right places!

Victoria is a succubus, a sex demon that must feed on the emotional and sexual energy of humans to survive. Not born to the life, but turned years ago, her guilt and disgust with her demonic side have kept her isolated and alone: it is safer that way for others. Lea Barrymire has cleverly incorporated a very un-demonlike succubus and given her a heart and a palpable loneliness that is as endearing as it is understandable.

To combat her need to feed, and provide a service for other succubi and incubi that also prefer to remove the risk to others from their feeding frenzies, she created a phone-sex service that keeps her employees fed and paid, and the humans safe.

When she does a favor for a long-term employee and takes a client, she doesn’t realize the impact that Nick, a techno wizard will have on her: but his voice is addictive, and his realization of what she is, without fear or apparent concern is refreshing, if confusing.

What Victoria doesn’t realize is that Nick is her mate – and they are destined to be together, despite her concerns that she will not be able to control her demonic urges. What follows is a delicate dance and courtship, mixed in with some of the most erotically charged phone sex and some incredibly steamy scenes when the two finally meet.

Barrymire has created a story that has some clever twists and turns, a unique succubus at the heart of the story, and mixed in a wizard who is as sexy as he is determined to show his woman that she is worth every bit of emotion he shares with her.

I received an eBook copy from the publisher for purpose of honest review for the Jeep Diva. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Wired in Sin takes a turned succubus who hates her demon and what she has become and helps her find redemption by finding her mate in a technowizard who understands that she just needs to be wanted for herself and not her sex appeal.

Victoria was attacked and turn in the 1920's shortly after she killed someone trying to feed and has tried, mostly successfully, to feel without actually engaging in sex. She uses modern technology and magic to create a phone sex business that allows others like her to feed while talking on the phone with customers.

Dominick is one technowizards that helped Victoria set up her companies technology and knew at that first meeting they were mates to bad she refuses to acknowledge his existence, Nick however wont let that stop him and woo's Victoria.

This is a cute story with a unique storyline, I think I will start calling my geek husband a technowizard LOL :O) This story is also loaded with hot and steamy sex scenes. It is well written for a short novel/novella. I would have liked to understand a bit more of the world they live in. I love Gynger Victoria's closest thing to a friend she is self assured and pushy when she needs to be.

I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this book. From the very beginning and meeting Victoria I was hooked. The idea of a succubus who runs a phone sex company is so original and fun. Ms. Barrymire does an exceptional job of creating fun and unique characters. I understood Victoria’s motivations perfectly and I really liked her. Some of the little details to the world showcasing the aspects of the supernatural portions were intricately woven into the story so well that I could just imagine seeing them and experiencing the wonder myself.

Dominick is perfect with the way he seduces Victoria and all of her senses one by one. I want my own Dominick. I also loved the way this story doesn’t focus on the physical aspect to carry the sex and the attraction. It’s a refreshing twist on most stories out there.

Overall, this is a hot, sexy yet emotional tale that I highly recommend. I can only hope that Ms. Barrymire plays within this world again. I know of at least one other succubus that I’d love to know how their story unfolds.

This book was a hot read. I have always appreciated a good succubus story and although this one was a slow starter with a bit of back story to work through, I enjoyed it very much. The dreamscape scenes between Victoria and Dominick were hot. It gives new meaning to the suggestion that the mind is the most erotic organ we have. So true, and in this case really true! Victoria takes phone sex and brings it to a level that most guys can only dream about. She infiltrates their mind and lets them actually feel her. At least, they think she does. Her clients are supernatural and they know the stakes. But does she? When Dominick tracks her down and sets up an appointment, a whole lot is on the line. Will Victoria be able to handle the heat or will she run? I won't tell. Just enough to say that this hot number is a great evening read and one you won't want to miss!

There was nothing wrong with story.
I felt the story dragged too much. And the MCs were starting to get on my nerves. It took female character 5 pages to open a stupid gift!

I loved this book. Sin's Calling by author Lea Barrymire has humor, love, and angst all kept me reading the pages and wanting more.
Victoria is a Succubus not because she was born that way, or had a great yin to be one, nope she was attacked and it was forced on her. How does one handle being a sex demon for all eternity? Well start your own phone sex company. Get all the sex you can eat with none of the icky entanglements or people knowing your a sex sucking demon. Victoria is very smart. She created SIN incorporated and even has employees. Talk about making your paranormal gifts work for you. She never has to risk her heart, and she is safe. Perfect life as far as she is concerned.
Dominick has worked hard to get a phone date with Victoria. I love that he is a tecnowizard. That is a twist I have not seen a lot of. Plus I love the geeky kind of guys. Dominick is that but his a romantic too. He is willing to woo his woman. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get his mate to admit they belong together.
This book is both sweet, funny, and sexy all at once. I really would like to see a series made out of this universe. I know I would love to know more about those that work at SIN Incorporated and who they might fall in love with. When you want a paranormal romance with a twist this one is perfect to pick up.

I was given Sin's Calling by Lea Barrymire for my honest review. I loved it. I was pulled into the story from the first page.
Victoria ia a succubus created by a Maker and left to discover what she was. She dislikes it. Over the years, Victoria has suppressed her emotions and feelings. She concentrates on her business, working with other demons in the phone sex industry, allowing them to feed freely from sexual partners.
Enter Dominick, a technowizard that turns Victoria's safe world upside down. They meet during a business meeting. Victoria senses her mate is in the room and slams up the emotional walls. However, Dominick is determined to talk to his mate and uses the technology he helped create to talk to her. Will she talk to him? Will she accept him as her mate?
This book is a must read. Once you start, you will not be able to stop. Sin's Calling is well written and evenly paced. I enjoyed the twists and turns of the journey that Victoria goes through. Oh and the sex scenes, well they are hot and steamy!!

Lea Barrymire's "Sin's Calling" is a sexy standalone, although I would love to read more about this world and the characters in it. I loved the mythology presented for the demons. Probably the hottest phone sex I've ever heard. The sexual tension is palpable and you will definitely need to cool down after reading this. Plus the coolness factor for special neat things rivals Harry Potter for originality. I will definitely see what else Barrymire has out there.
