This book is great for toddlers because there aren't any numbers, it just says this animal is faster or slower than this animal.

I really enjoyed how this book told the story in English and again in Spanish. This would be great for an English language learner. That way they could read each page in English and in Spanish to make sure that they were understanding what the English was saying. The photographs are very good images that draw the attention to them. There are also a few instances of extra information about a creature on the page that is also written in both languages. At the back of the book is a glossary of the harder words, the actual speeds of the various creatures, and extra internet sites to go to that are all in both languages.
