***Blue Mage is Book 1 in the Blue Mage Series.***
Trystan is a young hapless mage who wishes to continue his magical studies, leaving his hectic and miserable life behind. But in order to do so, he must take on a familiar, a being who's purpose is to store magical energy, protect him from harm and keep his dirty secrets.
When Trystan is accepted to the Elemental College of Stukarr, he knows he must take the next step and choose a familiar for the long quest ahead. The mage is hesitant because he knows familiars can be demanding and hard to control much like his evil girlfriend, Freya.
Trystan's best friend, Nia, encourages Trystan to take the leap with her and runaway to the elemental college. The quest will take them from their small seaside town to a world of monster girls, magic and seductive adventure.
Will Trystan's new familiar drive him crazy? Can Trystan keep his familiar's lustful appetite for his seed at bay? Will the mage uncover deep rooted feelings for his best friend? Will evil Freya stop the mage and force him back to be her submissive servant?
This was a pretty short, erotic story told in a fantasy world where magic and familiars exist. I would say almost every component of this book was better than average (at least for this type of book). The magic system was interesting, but didn't go into great detail. The plot of this story was pretty straightforward. There was a lot of sex and it was well written, though I have read a lot better. Sex of course was the main reason this book was written and I am always fascinated to see how an author goes about writing about it in a way that also includes a plot/story. The girlfriend/ex-girlfriend dominating sex was kind of unsettling for me though, especially when she punched him in the face because she wanted a bigger orgasm. Yeah, that relationship was toxic and the main character was kind of a whiner - but not enough that would make me hate him. It was a pretty good read and was pretty short.
Terrible cowardly MC. Contrived scenes. The story does not flow and doesn't make sense. Another one of those magic dick stories. I think I'll not continue this series. One is enough.
Interesting concept, at first I though it was going to be a shallow erotic read, but it is noticeable that there is more depth to this read that it shows in the premise. The technology discrepancies had me going crazy till they mentioned the previous existance of planes that brought things into perspectives and left enough unexplained for the reader to create its own genesis of that world. Mc isn't my favorite character at the moment, every situation he was put on didn't made him chine for me, but that works wonderfully for the story to make him grow up out of his shell and engage us on his (posible) trasnformation.
It's super short. It was fine though. Just tons of action and too much sex to be honest. Not a lot of character background when there is so much action and sex. I might try book 2 to see if it improves.
Shallow, bad in quality, lower-than-pulp ‘writing’ that's arduous to get through. Might have been tolerable, but the punctuation is abhorrent, and none of this was edited. At all. Why is this publicly available, I have no idea.
Easy to read not too many characters. The sex parts were predictable but still got the blood flowing. Should have been more to the female Nia character and her familiar. Overall entertaining and satisfying.
