Debbi Rawlins currently lives with her husband in Las Vegas, Nevada. A native of Hawaii, she married on Maui and has since lived in Cincinnati, Chicago, Tulsa, Houston, Detroit, and Durham, North Carolina during the past twenty years.

Now that she's had enough of the gypsy life, it'll take a crane, a bulldozer, and a forklift to get her out of her new home. Not that her friends would let her leave Las Vegas even if she wanted to. Debbi's home has become a retreat for writers from both coasts and her guest rooms are rarely empty.

Mallory moves from Cali to Blackfoot Falls, Montana...she opens her own bar there.. Gunner is a stuntman..they had one night together before he had to go to Argentina..she started dodging his calls.when he comes back to Cali and she is gone he travels all day and night til he gets to her.She can't believe it when he shows up!! She had feelings for him but that one night of sex made them more so!! He has to work to get back into her good graces..he is doing little things for her..they grow closer and closer...but her bar suffers some damage and he leaves thinking she doesn't need him but thankfully she has a sherriff that is her friend..they go after him and finally tell each other how they feel..A good book!

I listened to this book on Audible — the narration was good so it added to the enjoyment of the book.
I enjoyed the characters, setting and plot of the book. They were all believable and enjoyable. I’d spend time in MT with this bunch! Guess I’ll have to so I can find out what happened to the Full Moon! Will she rebuild? Was it an accident?
I’d read this author again!

Listened to the audiobook narrated by Jeremy York (who always does a great job). It’s hard to believe a woman could be as dumb as Mallory, but the book has happy ending.

B892 May16 Mallory Brandt pulls up stakes, when the rent on her Hollywood bar goes up, and moves to Blackfoot Falls, Montana. Stuntman, Gunner Ellison returns to find her gone. She didn't return his calls after their tequila fueled night and he's not happy.
Gunner follows her to Montana determined to get answers from Mallory.
Interesting example of not communicating leading to misunderstanding.
I hope the Made in Montana series continues!
