A blindingly brilliant book filled to the brim with BDSM delights. Felicity is a quiet young lady who is struggling through life, making ends meet by selling home-made jewellery. A stall at a burlesque fair leads to an encounter with and alone question from an enigmatic man. Felicity summons her inner bravery and takes the plunge, answering yes to the question. Sir takes Felicity on an eye opening journey of pain and pure pleasure that leaves her and the reader squirming and writhing in ecstasy.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.
The erotic scenes in this book worked well for me. Samuel's English accent was hot and the language the author used added to the eroticism. I really liked the variety of bdsm scenes.
I did have issues when the story progressed to the romance because it felt a little awkward and Felicity went on and on about poor she was. Also, someone should tell Samuel calling a woman malleable is not a compliment.
Overall through, I enjoyed Something Brave.

I was given this book free in exchange for a fair review.
I got to the end and immediately thought no please don't end there. I need more, what happened next? What is next for Felicity and Samuel? I now wait and hope that their story will continue in another book sometime. That's not to say it leaves off on any cliffhangers, it doesn't. It's simply I got that into the characters I need and want to know their whole lives after.
I love the setting of the book and found it very easy to imagine some of the places and people involved.
The story is easy to relate to and heavy with hot scenes. Scenes that are imaginative and wonderful. Anyone who knows Manchester or any major city will be able to easily build a picture in their minds of the scenery. And of course your imagination will be fed by the sex scenes too. Perhaps also you will know a Felicity or a Samuel in your life. Thoroughly enjoyable and steamy.
