Not a bad vampire tale, but unfortunately there was never a definitive ending. The story is very much like The Strain with vampires overrunning the Earth, a master Vampire leading them, and a supernatural warrior fighting them. However, considering this came out before The Strain, this would be the original story. The art fits the horror story well.

I liked this but would like to have seen a better ending. If you are a fan of The Strain, you'll like this one.

Set in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Wife Tina, 46, died of breast cancer eight months ago. Sudden and swift.

Washington, D.C. falls. The men go west to search for Wagner’s wife and kids.

Refuge at Nellis Air Force Base—it seems to be the only military base that hasn’t gone dark.

Trippe. Wagner.

…and then they come.

Nice variety of color usage and illustration style.

The cursive-ish print is hard to read.

Cool story, but…that’s quite the dud of an ending.

Now, part of me thanks God she wasn’t alive to see any of this. To experience the absolute hell the world has become.

This story intrigues me. The name Impaler and his referring to Vlad (Dracula) and then fighting something that appears to be zombie/demons? I would like to pick this comic up and see what it's about. It had me hooked.

Good

Impaled is a good comic series disappointment though of the unexplained ending without a resolution of the previous two volumes of the tale leaving only this epilogue.
