so literally that I was physically cringing (while simultaneously laughing) as I read this book. This mother knows no bounds when it comes to her baby's success and sex-life.

Kim was quite the no-nonsense feminist powerhouse back in the day. While she still has her adventures (i.e. convincing a fireman to smuggle her back into an evacuated zone so she can feed her pets), now she's focusing all that unspent energy into meddling with Kate's life (i.e. giving said fireman Kate's number).
"Happy birthday spawn, welcome to the wrong side of 25. The expiration date on your eggs is officially in sight. Tick tock."
From college applications to chasing off "wrong" boyfriends, this surprisingly sweet, yet slightly horrifying, account of helicopter-ing Jewish mother is sure to delight and terrify you.
