I had a sudden urge to learn Vedic Astrology, perhaps because I really want to know more about myself. This deck was lying around with my other tarot decks and I always wanted to use it so I thought I'll give it a try.
I was not disappointed! it is definitely a good deck and guidebook for beginners. I am a scientist, a proud Hindu and I believe in the existence of all kinds of energies. I think there might be some influence of the astronomical forces on our lives because I have observed these influences in my own life by studying my own birth chart. The best way to remove doubt is to see for yourself. So I tried doing this on myself and it works, at least for me.
I will say approach astrology, especially Vedic astrology with an open mind and without any biases. I think you will eventually get the hang of it.
It is definitely a good deck for beginners ONLY. If you wish to go further in this subject, I'd recommend reading more advanced books or consulting a Guru well-versed in the subject.
