Robert Lawrence Stine known as R. L. Stine and Jovial Bob Stine, is an American novelist and writer, well known for targeting younger audiences. I started to read the book "Mostly Ghostly: Ghouls Gone Wild" a few weeks ago. I like this book because it is funny. Out of the Mostly Ghostly books so far, this is my favorite. The best part of this book is when Mayor Stank fell backward into the pool. If you get this book I hope you enjoy it like I did.

I thought it would be fitting to read a R.L. Stine book during "spook" season. I have never read anything by him before. As an adult, I missed out on the Goosebumps craze. I found it to be just plain fun. This is something I would have really enjoyed as a kid.

Wow! Another fun tale in the Mostly Ghostly series by R.L. Stine. These books sure do make me laugh. I love all the trouble that Max can get into, even though none of it is really his fault. Although Nicky and Tara often try to help him, things often end up taking a turn for the worst. And now, in this book, they have that old problem of mysteriously fading away and popping up later, but never when Max needs them most.

Poor Max can really use their help when the ghouls attack, but they are never around to help him. Once again, R.L. Stine weaved his magical pen and has created a story that will be loved by kids of all ages. In fact, the entire Mostly Ghostly series is quite excellent. My daughter just read the first book in this series, Who Let the Ghosts Out?, and absolutely loved it.

So, if you are looking for a fun story, that really isn't scary, but does have ghosts in it, and even some ghouls, check out Ghouls Gone Wild. You won't be disappointed. I look forward to more adventures with Max, Nicky and Tara in the next book, Let's Get This Party Haunted.

My Review: I gave this book a four out of five stars because it was an easy book to read and it makes you want to read more and more. I think people that like ghost stories should get this book because it talks about ghost a lot.

Honestly this book is so good, and well written, entertaining and funny. but omfg I should’ve got all captors because it ended what a “to be continued..” 😭😭 BUT overall I think R.L. stine is such a interesting writer

I read this for my book club - I thought that reading this would be a short trip down memory lane - I loved RL Stine books when I was young! - but the plotline just wasn't there for me. I feel badly judging a children's book by more adult standards, but even when compared with other children's books (Percy Jackson, Judge Benjamin, etc.) I think this one is lacking.
