I enjoyed learning more about the Persian Empire (Cyrus, Darius, crazy Xerxes), Greece (beginning of republic, Greek poetry, drama, wars with Persians and themselves), some of Europe (Celts/Romans forming), and Asia (India, China, formation of Confucius, Buddhism, Jainism from the Vedas and Hinduism).
