Even though this book is dated (1988) kids are still kids and the same challenges and issues raised in this book exist today, probably much more elevated in many ways. I have a sense that my granddaughters and their parents are facing many of the same struggles and would probably benefit from some the sage advice offered in this book. Since there were many contributors, you get a wide spectrum of counsel in the various topics addressed. I liked the piece of wisdom by Warren Wiersbe entitled How God Solves Our Problems. He gives us: Courage to face our problems; the wisdom to understand; the strength to do what we must, and the faith to trust Him for the outcome and do what we cannot.
