Lisa Funari Willever came to my school in 2008. I purchased this book from her then.
It's a cute book about how a chicken tries to wrestle Easter away from the bunny because she thinks she can do better and receive all the glory. I really like the premise. Perhaps the story doesn't quite fulfill hat could be, but it is fun nonetheless. The illustrations are humorous.
This book is really cute because even thought the chicken is jealous of the bunny she realizes in the end that they are friends and must work together. The rhyming of this book it great to work on students phonics skills.
