The charade between Rebecca and Marcus comes crashing down all around them. When the plot thickens, Rebecca thinks she's getting in over her head. But when she looks into Marcus's eyes, she just can't resist.
Sierra Rose is a stay at home mom and writer. With the support from her husband, friends, and family, she finally decided to write her first romance novel, My Despicable Ex, followed by the second book in the series. She hopes to write more romance books in the future.
Sierra is a dreamer, a hopeless romantic, and believes fairy tales can come true. She enjoys spending time with her husband of ten years and her wonderful children, ages 9 - 12. She has two cats and one dog. Sierra enjoys going to book clubs, camping, hiking, reading, jogging, and swimming.
This is a cute little story. The circumstances are bizarre and it is definitely a story line that doesn't happen on a regular basis. It is a nice little get away from reality.
So I was entertained by the first book, but this one really has not kept my attention at all and, I give, I'm not going to buy the third book to even find out what happens. The marketing approach of taking one book/story and dividing it into three books only annoys me. It might be ok if each book could stand on its own but that isn't the case here.
I found the enjoyment of part two very much the same as in part one. Only now the drama was amped up a bit more and the twists in the story followed the cliffhanger in book one very well. In all, I had somewhat higher expectations, but I am not disappointed in the outcome either.
I really liked the beginning in the story where the real big drama took place, especially after what Marcus did in the name of acting. Not only did it pull me into the story from the get go, but it also gave the characters a bit more emotional depth. Sadly it didn’t go much further than that because too soon, for my taste, they pretty much kissed and made up without anything really changing between them or developing any more depth. From then on the story slowed down to a point that it became a bit underwhelming. Luckily it didn’t stay that way for too long, throwing some curveballs in shape of overbearing relatives and a moldy apartment forcing Marcus and Becca closer together. Not only that, but it gave the story some originality and a humorous note.
As you probably can tell I liked the romance well enough. However the development in their relationship could have used some work in my opinion. It progressed nicely in most parts of the book, but the bigger moments, like Becca forgiving him in the beginning or when they both agreed to go for it for real, felt off. I wouldn’t say it was out of nowhere, but I felt like nothing big really happened for them to get to this decision or that they had a strong reason behind their actions. It would have been way more impactful and complex if something happened in the story that made it develop to that point. Still, I did really enjoy them goofing and flirting with each other in the name of acting, and how it progressed into what it did.
I still missed some complexity between the couple both in their characters and their relationship. However it was better than in part one so I am hopeful that it will be even better in part three, especially with the high note the book ended on.
The Billionaire's Fake Girlfriend - Part 2 (The Billionaire Saga)
The continuous love story of Marcus and Rebecca. A fake girlfriend for $10,000, now a fake fiancée for $50,000. But can the fake become real or has it. Both family are in town for wedding planning. Good holiday story.
So this book has so much going on you can't put it down. Ended with another cliffhanger, but a major cliffhanger. The part where Marcus' grandmother stops by to visit had me so upset. I could just feel the uneasiness Marcus and Rebecca felt at that moment. As for the ending OH MY GOSH!!!
I wasn't so distressed by this cliff hanger. Partly because I was expecting one and partly because I'm beginning to have faith in Marcus. This is a really funny series and I really love this author's style of writing. It's definitely a series worth sticking on your TBR pile.
Book 2 continued on from the 1st book. Marcus hired Rebecca to be his fake girlfriend for $10000. Then she became his fake fiance for $50000. It was funny when her mother comes to town and starts planning the wedding. Wonder what will happen in the last book.
This is part two in The Billionaire Saga, a three part series. I always remind my readers, to get the most from a story that is in a series - please read in the order the author intended. This is for best enjoyment and understanding of the story as a whole.
Rebecca and Marcus continue the charade in this book. Only this time, it is not just a potential client they have to convince. This is Rebecca's family. Her mother and brother come to "help" the wedding planning along.
Marcus is still agreeable about paying for her time, as he still has a client on the hook he is trying to catch. He finds her family fascinating and funny. They love him also.
Rebecca, meanwhile, is starting to feel the deep pangs of guilt. She is close to her family, for the most part, and hates lying to them. She also knows if she tells her mom the truth she will hit the roof.
Marcus and Rebecca are also getting closer. They have come to know one another and this makes "faking it' in public and for others, much easier. Only now, they have feelings invested as well.
I found this to be even better than the first installment. The author brings you to such laughter and then throws in some surprises for you. I really cannot wait to see what the next book will bring!

Now Marcus has crossed the line with a very public proposal and Rebecca is more than a little angry with him. She does her obligation and acts the part but at first opportunity she leave in his private jet and head back to LA. She gets back and get rid of everything she has that is part of this fake girlfriend and tries to get on with her life. Unfortunately, the paparazzi had other ideas and have turned the proposal into front page news. Turning her life upside down because now her family is involved and the “fake” relationship that is becoming all too real still can’t end.
Thanks to toxic mold being found in Becca apartment building, she has to move into Marcus’s mansion for a while. During her time there, they both finally give up the act and admit they don’t want this to end and they want a real relationship together. Hence the creation of the cliffhanger that takes you to book 3….Becca’s pregnant.
I appreciated the turns and the exposure that the charters had to display to get to this point in their relationship. It’s sweet and it’s real for a situation that was downright fantasy to start.
Rebecca White is momentarily stunned by Marcus Taylor's proposal! But in true form she gives an Oscar winning performance keeping up appearances for the audience present at the Gala... Picking up right where the previous book left off.
The couple return to LA separately, but more drama stemming from the very public engagement sees them back together to keep up the front.
There were more laughs and cringe worthy meetings of family and friends, along with lots of foreplay between Bex and Marcus... But they finally do end up tangled in the sheets and that was all that it was building up to be! And finally the pair admit what all the readers could see that they're falling for each other! But...... Another cliffhanger of an ending!!! Not that I'm complaining
Another great instalment in this series, great characters and story, bring on the next one.
Fantastic Series! This is Part 2 of a 3 Part series. I have loved both Parts 1and 2, and now am so looking forward to Part 3. Rebecca has been hired by Marcus, a billionaire playboy to be his pretend girlfriend, that has now turned into his pretend fiance. At the same time, they are starting to develop real feelings for each other, and their families are starting to get involved in the pretend wedding. There are so many times that you are laughing out loud as you read this book. I received this book in return for an honest review, and I highly recommend this whole series, and they need to read in order. Watch out for the cliffhanger.
I loved reading The Billionaire's Fake Girlfriend - Part 2 (The Billionaire Saga), all about Rebecca White a young nursing assistant/actress & billionaire Marcus Taylor. He hired her to be his fake girlfriend so he could seal a deal with a very conservative Chinese investor. While they are play acting he starts to develop feelings for her, and ends up proposing marriage to her at the end of part one! In Part two Rebecca is so overwhelmed with the proposal and all the press, she also starts to develop real feelings for Marcus! During this next fiancé phase she becomes pregnant. Can't wait to read part three!
This part took off right at the end of part 1. As I stated in my review of part one, I am not a fan of serials, especially when the author can make one book out of the three parts. I also feel that it is a financial rip off on the part of the author. Now that I have that off my chest, I like this story and while the scenario is improbable, the book is well written and peopled by three dimensional characters of whom many are very likable. Further, I would give the book a sexy score of 4.5. I enjoyed the read.
The emotional connections grow stronger as the families get involved. Everyone has their little quarks and meeting the family is a huge step in any relationship. The fact that they are taking these steps together and getting through more obsticals together is inspiring. Loved it and I'm on to the next in the series. Can't walk away from this series apparently.
What started out as a ruse for a couple of weeks has got out of hand. Now somehow Marcus and Rebecca are getting married? How do you back out gracefully without both their reputations being ruined and there is also the fact that they crossed the no sex line and feelings are involved now. 5 star read!!!!
Typical and Predictable thus far. I guess that's why it took me so long to finish. I mean honestly. who didn't see them really falling in love. And just like clockwork she's pregnant. I guess now the wedding really will happen. I guess I have no choice but to finish the series out. Not really impressed though.
Loved the second book of The Billionaires Fake Girlfriend. I was glued to the story about Marcus and Rebecca. Love these two together, and got such a kick out of Marcus's grandmother. She's a hoot. Bring on book three.
I received this book from Hurricane Readers for an honest review! Love this series! Can't wait for more! If you don't like series reading, but the 3 book set! Highly recommend!
