This would be a wonderful addition to any elementary school library or classroom for student's learning about historically important individuals. The layout is done will with easy to follow text, lovely photographs, a timeline and a glossary of important words to know. Since this is also a relatively quick read, teachers would benefit from reading this aloud in their classes alond with some of the "lies" that Zora Neale Hurston collected over the years.

Good intro for someone like me who knows of Zora but doesn’t really know anything about her. I’m now curious to learn more about this incredible woman and her work.
