The thrilling finale to the Action of Purpose trilogy.

A savage evil collides with a desperate faith in a battle for the fate of all that remains.

Sinking deeper day by day into a mire of personal loss, self-loathing, and despair, former police officer Kane Lorusso is at a crossroads. After all the evil he has endured at the hands of the psychotic warlord, Malak, and his army of bandits, Kane struggles to physically and emotionally survive his own worst nightmare. While the forces of darkness continue to rise against Kane and his allies, their only hope lies in a faith that refuses to die, and a God who has spared them all for a singular purpose.

As new allies join the fight and old enemies reemerge from the wasteland, Malak’s savage bandit army gathers in the West, preparing to unleash an unspeakable evil upon the whole of creation. Destinies intertwine in a timeless conflict as Kane and his friends come to the sobering realization that they are the last hope of a dying world. Will they lay down and be consumed as every last ember of hope is stamped out? Or will they stand one last time against the fading of the light?

Each book of the Action of Purpose series begins where the previous book left of. With that being said, I am all in and can hardly wait to get to the conclusion and find out what happens to all my friends.

In Against the Fading Light, Tynuk’s story is told and I love this young man. He is a believer, never wavering.

Kane and the gang are what family is all about, though they are not related.

As the showdown approaches, God’s talking and the angels are listening.

I AM LOVING THIS SERIES. I am not religious, don’t go to church, but this story and Stu Jones’ ability to tell it has blown me away. Amazing, awesome, uplifting, hopeful, heartbreaking, devastating…

I must warn you…put aside some time, because once you start reading about this battle between good and evil, you won’t be able to stop! The ending was all I could hope for and he kept me entranced, riveted, unable to quit until the last page was read.

The Battle of Good Vs Evil

I am sad the series has ended, but what a powerful and well written battle it was. I read apocalyptic fiction, but this series has that along with the heavenly battle against the realm of demons. No spoilers but the battle scene is so well done that it was easy to picture it in my mind. I wanted to stand up and cheer at times. True sacrifice for those who are loved is shown along with the immense power of true faith. Very moving series that touched my life personally thank you so much Stu Jones

Well, great, now what am I going to read???? Nothing compares to this trilogy and I already miss it!

Great action, great characters and great stories on God's love and never ending forgiveness. The dark parts were very disturbing, especially concerning the women and children, but were not out of place for this genre. The Supernatural characters were awesome. I wish and hope I can find some other sci-fi/ apocalyptic /faith based novels.

A bitter dystopian world with gritty characters centered on the brokenness of humankind. The story flows and is hard to put down with action at every turn. The author did an excellent job of bridging the spirit world with a well-described burnt reality. From beginning to end, I found myself asking questions and connecting with a message of faith, purpose, and determination.

Kane's worst nightmare has come to pass as his small band of survivors dwindles. The evil Coyotes led by the demonic Malak move into the final endgame of darkness, the destruction of all light. Preparing to face horrific odds, Kane and his remaining few faithful have no idea that the battle raging in the heavens is coming to earth and God protects his own.

As expected, the trilogy ends with the battle to end all battles. Characters, flawed and dear to the reader, may not survive the ferocity of the challenge and hearts will be broken. Savage, brutal, moving and thrilling, Jones brings his apocalyptic tale to a fittingly cosmic conclusion without losing sight of the human heart.

If you're able to deal with the light of faith and the weight of brutality in equal measure, I thoroughly recommend the entire trilogy.

I won this Goodreads. This is a finale of his trilogy. This is a little ouside of what I usually read but I am trying to expand my reading list. It is about a savage evil that collides with faith in a battle for the fate of all that remains.
