Most enjoyable to see the many variations. Version where Hamlet was just a late teen explains his prevarications, as opposed to the version where he was a young man. Did Hamlet happen to meet Ophelia in the gallery or did he go to her rooms, and did this mean he went there often? I always wondered why people questioned whether Hamlet was feigning madness or really becoming unstable. Did Hamlet know whom was behind the curtain in his mother's room? Why all these changes? Did the plays develop? Did actors write what they remembered of their parts? Did copyists for the publishers omit, miss, change from the master copy? Variations on wonderfulness for savoring and speculation. Good buy.
