Though this version isn’t my favorite ... I think it would be a good introduction to God’s Word because it’s a simpler way to read it.

And honestly I get to color so that’s pretty freaking awesome 🙂

This review isn't for the Bible, but for this edition of the Bible. The weight of the pages is nice for highlighting and coloring. I use wax highlighters, and there is minimal bleeding through to the backside of the paper. I use colored pencils when coloring the beautiful illuminated verses. The NLT is a nice edition for reading through the Bible. I also liked that this isn't a study Bible. I wasn't distracted by notes and cross references when reading through the Bible.

This Bible was the best gift from my husband and I love it and I can highloght and jOUNRAL in it making it colorful and taking notes
