I found this book helpful. I have read other gardening books that are mostly pretty pictures, and there are certainly nice pictures in this book, but the text is clear and helpful for those people who have at least planted one garden. The focus is also for vegetables grown in the South.

About half of this book deals with setting up a garden and the tools one might need. The rest is a reference to various vegetables and troubleshooting tips.

I will be referring to this book in the future as I improve my garden practices.
