In the beginning the rains came and the deluge covered every corner of the earth. The rains were a cancer, insidious in its nature. Behind the deluge came the sickness which burned across the planet and led to the rise of the Wasters. A future in which the word hope is no longer uttered, a future in which the recently deceased are returning for a visit and human beings are at the top of the menu.
