Overcoming Stress, Anxiety & Depression was a very encouraging book. The topic is tough. Stress, Anxiety & Depression are real and are not encouraging words, but Overcoming is exactly what this book sets out to teach the reader. That is encouraging.
Immediately the book calls it was it is. Fear. It is the root of all of the above. Once the reader recognizes and accepts that it makes it easier to understand when applying the tools in this book.
Kenneth and Gloria Copeland fill this book with scripture. They repeat again and again that to overcome we must be in the Word and they back it with Word.
I recommend this book for anyone that is battling stress, anxiety and/or depression. I would further like to say that unless the reader is ready to work this book as it is intended it may not help the way it should. Read it, work the exercises, use the disks, read your Word, and apply what you learn. Sounds like work, but it will be well worth it.
