This was a great book, I just wish it had been out when I was debating between doing mortgages or buying into a franchise retail location with a partner. Although Dustan puts the cold hard truth out there, it would have been less risky for me to Broker then go into the franchise business. Looking forward to reading the others to come.

This was a re-read for me, and probably something I will listen to every year.
The information that Dustan shares in all three of his books is invaluable to a broker, whether they are just starting out, or have been in the business for years.

I would highly recommend this book to everyone in the mortgage industry.

Fantastic book. This read gave me the tools to streamline my business allowing me to work from any location while not skipping a beat or missing a renewal. I had been a broker for 9 years at the time of reading and it was still sooo useful. Aside from the technology tips that I found so helpful to my situation specifically, Dustan effectively explains the nuances that are required to take your business to the next level.

The only negative is that dustan is such a workhorse that I feel bad not working 24/7 lol. May try to grind in out in this manner after a relaxing summer.

Recommended for any broker already in the industry or for those contemplating taking the plunge.

Wish I would have find this book before I started in the mortgage industry, but it's not too late, now a year after.
Lots of information about what means and what you need to do in order to become a mortgage broker.
Clear and concise steps to take before even taking the mortgage licence course.
Dustan writes from his heart and you can feel it. He is funny and blunt about what you will encounter on this journey.
The whole series is a must read for mortgage brokers no matter how seasoned they are, but also for clients, because it gives them insights about what their mortgage broker goes through, has to do or hasn't done properly.
Thank you Dustan!

I started reading the series after completing the licensing course, and while I was interviewing to choose a brokerage to hang my license. I wish I started to read it even before I decided to take the course because I would have been in a more advanced stage in my career by now. That's how powerful this book is! I finished all 3 volumes and started over and I'm now on the second book and still learning new things as I advance in my career! These books are going to be my companions for at least the next 2 years. Who knows, maybe longer than that.

Absolutely fantastic information for us mortgage brokers. This volume is more tailored to people who haven't yet started but it's informative enough for established brokers. For the really good information I also recommend volumes 2 and 3. PS. If you are in Melbourne hit me up some time for a negotiated rate on your refinance and great customer service! Charles.

A must-read for every broker, whether you are new in the industry or not. Well-written, easy to read, and to the point. This book (and the entire series) is absolutely amazing, I couldn't stop highlighting and taking notes throughout. Got the audio book version as well!

The way Dustan simplifies what some people might initially see as intimidating concepts and success factors to being a new mortgage agent is brilliant. I love seeing his passion for personal development and strong principles and recommend this book even for people who aren’t in real estate.

Excellent insight on how to establish yourself as a successful mortgage broker! Dustan makes reference to a ton of outside sources as well (books, videos…etc) which I loved. Easy to read and full of extremely useful nuggets which can be directly applied to your business.
