In simple, accessible text, this board book celebrates the delights of the coldest season--winter. While it's fun to play outside in the snow, it's just as delightful to savor a warm meal or curl up into some comfortable blankets and stay warm as this book demonstrates. The text appears in English and Spanish, making it useful in many early childhood classrooms or homes. The images of children are colorful and show that they are enjoying themselves immensely, no matter where they are--indoors or outdoors. This is part of a series on the four seasons.

My kids picked out this book from our pile. My two-year-old enjoyed the pictures. My four-year-old, who is learning about the seasons, loved it and enjoyed pointing out the things she has noticed or is looking forward to this winter.

Great little board book (part of a series on seasons) that talks about daily activities you may do in the winter. Short but descriptive. Solid illustrations. I definitely felt like the text would've been better if the lines rhymed. But alas, they never did.
