I've been on a bit of an Esther E. Schmidt binge lately. This being the third book by this author I have read this week...

This is book two of the Areion Fury MC series. This is River's (DAMS) and Priscilla's (NERD) story. Dams is VP of Areion Fury, and a bit of a manwhore. That is until his motorcycle breaks down and he is left stuck on the side of the road. One look at the tow truck driver (NERD) and he is kissing his manwhore days good-bye forever. Nerd isn't impressed though. Oh she finds him sexy as hell, but she knows ALL about these lying, cheating, biker guys. She watched her Dad treat her mom like garbage. Until one day tragedy struck and all she was left with was words warning her to never give her heart to a "biker" Can Dams prove he isn't anything like her father? Can Nerd lower her walls enough to let Dams into her heart??



I LOVED this one. It was my favorite of the books I have read by this author so far. Dams was a hot, sexy, dirty talking alpha. The likes of which I eat up by the spoonful. He wasn't just that though. He was also super sweet and took his time with Nerd. Nerd was a really likable heroine. She was tough, but vulnerable, and can across as an intelligent woman. No over the top shrilly, badass wanna-be behavior for this heroine.

Again (I sound like a broken record) but this author has a really easy writing style that I just enjoy so much. I am never bored or felt the need to skip pages. There are some really interesting side characters that I look forward to getting to know better. Tyler for one. Pokie also, but I'm not really 100% sure what to think of him yet. The author kind of went a little too over the top in his behaviors and he crossed the line into a caricature of a bumbling fool. It's going to be difficult for me to see him as a "romantic hero" especially after the diner scene. I'm afraid he may be of better use as a character that stays in the background.

Overall though, LOVED this one. This author is for sure one I intend to keep my eye on. Two thumbs up from yours truly...

Another great read by this author. I love that she gives us an alpha man who once he sees his girl, he will stop at nothing to have her.

That was certainly the case with Dams and Nerd. Nerd (aka Priscilla) likes her life behind the computer screen. She didn't have a great childhood and other than her aunt, she has no family. Her father was a biker in the very club that she works for and she watched him mistreat her mother and cheat on her. Because of his behavior, the last thing she wants is a biker paying attention to her.

Dams never truely knew what family was until he joined the military. Meeting his best friend and club president Zack in the Army, he follows him home and the club becomes his new family. That is until he comes face to face with Nerd. At that point, all bets are off and he is going to have her.

-growly hot biker alpha
-quiet and shy, yet strong heroine
-absolutely no cheating or ow/om drama
-some pushing away initially by the heroine but she feels the same for hero so she doesnt fight it long
-the hero doesnt try to sugar coat that he has a manwhorish past. Once he meets the heroine, that is it.

-no epilogue, which is a no no for me


*This series goes hand in hand with the Broken Deeds series. Although I am sure you would be able to read them as stand alones, I recommend reading them in the order that they have been releases because it mentions different events from the other stories.

**5++ Jeweldick and Bug Stars**

It has been a while since I have read more than one or two books in a row by an author. I have now read 4 by Esther E Schmidt...Not counting the dnf at 50 % of Zack’s book because I hated the heroine (sorry Blue). Though I read them out of order timeline wise, I’m sort of glad I did. If I had read Dams first, I would have compared all the other heroes to him. HE. WAS. PERFECT.

Dams is the VP of the Areion Fury MC. Stranded on the side of the road with his bike, he has no choice but to call a tow. And who answers his call? None other than the resident geeky computer guru for the club, Nerd. Nerd, having bad experience with bikers is content to stay behind the scenes, hidden behind her computer. When she gets Dams’ call for a tow and the two are face-to-face, the sparks fly. Dams is immediately spouting “Mine!”

Dams, Dams, Dams…you dirty talking bad boy you. Oh how I love you…

“I mean it Bug, you’re mine and you will feel my dick inside you shooting my cum down deep. Mixing into one so when I pull my dick out of that gorgeous body of yours, I get to see us leaking out that tight pussy. Fuck! Even talking about it makes me seconds away from detonation.”

He was so good and patient with Nerd. He found out her hang ups and decided he would make sure she knew in time, the kind of person he was or wasn’t. He never as so much as looked at another woman and made sure all the club hoes knew he was off the market for good…forever.

“No woman has controlled me, ever. But you, you have me…body, mind and my fucking soul.”

He calls Nerd his fairy because…well, I’m not going to tell you but…

I do love a hero that calls his heroine a fairy…I’m just weird like that.

I loved Nerd. She was a great heroine. Even though she had some really bad experience with bikers, it doesn’t take her long to come around and realize she wants Dams as much as he wants her.

As usual, there are many side characters that I can’t wait to read about. Especially, elephant trunk Pokey…He calls his heroine a fairy after a cartoon character. Have I mentioned how much I love it when a hero calls his heroine a fairy??

And what’s with the freaking cliffhanger!!!!! I need Tyler’s book NOW!!

This author just has a way of writing that keeps me interested and engaged. I literally devoured all her books in just a few days. Now, I just have to figure out what I’m going to do until another of her books comes out.

Overall I enjoyed Dams. I liked that the hero never waivers in his feelings towards the heroine and was really sweet to her not like some MC romances. I also liked that it wasn't all about the romance and there was other things happening in the plot. The thing I had trouble with was the author's writing style. For me it didn't flow easily at times. However despite that I would definitely try more books by this author.

Dams has been infatuated with Nerd since he met her. A pint sized woman who takes no prisoners in her wake, her attitude is like no other woman he has met. When his bike breaks down and Nerd is there to tow it, he decides no more wasting time, she is his.

Priscilla, otherwise known as Nerd has no use for bikers especially Dams. Her father showed her enough through his biker life and she has no interest in going there. Dams however has other plans and when he realizes she has a ton of walls to break down, it is going to take all his patience but it will be worth it. Nerd though decides she is not holding back, whats a biker to do?

This was a grinning ear to ear. I was laughing out loud with Pokey, oh my I hope he gets a book he is a hot idiot mess but provided a ton of entertainment. Loved Nerd, she is snappy and uses her fists. Dams is sweet where Nerd is concerned, but everyone else he is surly. Great book, can't wait for the next book.

After finished reading all I could think was 'Holy fuckin shit!'. Lol. Yeah, it was that good. And the ending will kill you! I'm warning you up front. Be prepared for your calm world to be rocked.

This is the 3rd book by Esther and once again she didn't disappointed me, with a heroine of hers. All ol ladies are smart, sassy, loyal and with backbone of steel. Who aren't squirming or afraid to get their hands dirty or bloody when the situation is calling for it. I always ending up loving and admiring them.

Nerd and Dams are really similar in theirs personalities. They both got wounds, inflicted by theirs parents. And because of it had issues to express theirs emotions. So, it was amazing to watch how both of them blossomed in each others arms.

I loved how Dams was with his woman. Always supportive, always there for Nerd. He always knew what to do or say to reach Nerd’s barricaded heart. He for sure reached mine. Stole it with his swetness and dirty mouth. I hope no one would ever try to wash that dirty mouth of his with a soap. Lol. Yeah, I love that mouth of his. ;)

The ride was fun and intense. Esther always puts her own magic into her stories, that enlivens them and makes them more enjoyable. So can't wait for another biker of hers to take me for a ride.

This was only ok for me. His manwhore past was not the problem - although it was disgusting. I did not really love "nerd"/"bug" (HATED the nick names). She was too much of a mouse for me. And so I did not get why he liked her - at all.

Writing was juvenile and the dialogue was stilted and awkward in some places. The story was interesting enough for me to finish it although I had to stop in the middle as the H/h had some sort of personality disorder. I would have preferred a more romantic story, I felt that the relationship building was not enough. Will try the other books though as the series has potential

So this book....starts all nice and alpha, right...right...Nerd meets Dams and he is the ALPHA male, but Nerd gives it to him good! Just when shit is going good and walls are being torn down...relationships being built, trust being given....dirty F**kers have to come around and stir crap up! But that's ok...Dams makes sure they are all aware of who runs that show...then the ending....I can't EVEN....like WTF!! EVIL!! Now where is the next book??!

A must read

This is one you have to read! I love a book that sucks you right in from the very first page and keeps you reading until you get to the last period. Strong characters, alpha male, and he knows how to give his woman what she needs yet he is not infalable. Does he screw up? Does he want a tight relationship and willing to go for it? Read and find out. My favorite part is when he gets his cherry popped

This is the second book in this series and you must read them in order. With that said I also think you should read Deeds (Broken Deeds MC #1) first. They reference some things that happen in that book in this one. While it didn’t make feel like I was missing something it did make me wish I knew what it was. This book was maybe better than the first. I can’t decide. This book focuses on the VP Dams and his Ol’ Lady Nerd. Nerd is introduced near the end of the first book. She is the clubs go to person for info. She only worked with them by phone or email until they need the info pronto and she is forced to meet the man she has been talking to Dams. In this book Dams breaks down by the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and is forced to call for a tow. When the tow arrives it is Nerd. The tow company belongs to her Aunt and Uncle. There is just something about Nerd that Dams feel things he has never felt before. He is drawn to her and doesn’t want to fight it. When she receives a phone call from her Aunt that their world has changed Dams steps right up to help her and her family. Nerd’s father was part of the club and she saw firsthand how horrible bikers can be. She is determined not to believe anything Dams says and to not give into the way she feels for her. Dams wants her he isn’t going to stop until she believes he isn’t like her father. She is it for him and is willing to do whatever it takes for him to be it for her too. Nerd is so afraid to be hurt by Dams that she continues to build walls and push him away. He knows she needs time and determined to give it to her. They are so alike and they don’t even realize it at first. I absolutely love these characters and the world Esther has created. I can’t get enough of them and have already purchased Deeds to find out what happens with the things they referenced in this book. Esther is quickly becoming one of my favorite new authors. The books have a so much depth to them. I was sucked in from the first word. I highly recommend this series and the Broken Deeds MC series as well.

Dams is damaged goods , never loved or lovingly touched as a child, as soon as he was of age he joined the military where he met Zack, Prez. of the MC Aerion Fury, when their time was up they came home together, and Dams is now the VP. Tough and no B.S. Dams is the right man for the job. He doesn't do relationships, when he's done with a woman he's holding the door open before she's even picked her clothes up off the floor. When they need info on a guy they are looking for, he calls on Nerd, she's their computer genius, nobody has ever seen her, all communication is by phone or online. Dams threatens her to get her to bring the needed info to the clubhouse, when she walks in, he's in his very own fantasy, tiny, pigtails, glasses,knee socks, and pissed off, she tells him, in no uncertain terms,what to do with his threat! When she leaves he's a goner. Nerd is damaged too, her father was the computer guy for the MC and when he died she just stepped in and took over, it was easy money and it kept her hidden away from the world. Nerds experience with the MC life and men in general is not good, her father, was mean, abusive,he cheated on her mom, when she confronted him about it he told her mom that that's how things worked in an MC Club! As a result her mom couldn't take it and killed herself, leaving Nerd a note, telling her to never be with a biker and pretty much stay away from men if she wanted to be free and happy. Now with both parents gone she has been helping out her Aunt and Uncle in their Towing business. When she goes out on a call to pick up a bike, guess who it's for, Dams, he doesn't recognize her at first and proceeds to jump her about how long he had to wait, until she looses it and tells him she'll tow his bike but he can walk! This crazy story has ups, downs, laughs, tears, anger, love, and some really hot sexy stuff! I totally recommend it! I'm so ready for Tyler! Come on October!

Esther you have done it again, I can honestly say I cannot get enough of your two Mc's colliding story lines. You have me addicted, hooked, and flippin on edge all in one every one of your books I read. If your plan was to kill me at the end of this book you succeed I hate waiting for cliffhangers.
I knew the moment I met dams in deeds when he rescued hot lips that him and nerd would have a great story. It he chemistry between the two were just too hot to handle tha you knew there was a story there.
Some of the quotes Esther comes up with are too good not to share with the rest of the world.
"Damn I really need to get bug her own helmet. I make a mental note to pick one up for her while she climbs on behind me. The feel of her body wrapped tight around me fills me with pride. One things for sure, until you've met the one thing you didn't know you were missing you can live without that shit. Although now that I've got a taste, there's no fucking way in hell I'll ever live without her again."

Like seriously look at the cover of this book and tell me what's not to like!

I'm in anticipation of what comes next especially after pokey and Tyler's introduction. I can't believe you left it on a cliffhanger.

I have been so excited to read this book and I have finally found the time, and I definitely was not disappointed! Esther certainly did not disappoint! I am so astounded by the growth that I see in Esther's writing. I was introduced to Esther's work when I was fortunate enough to get an ARC of her debut novel, Zach. I knew from reading Zach that there were great things coming from Esther but I never dreamed that she was going to be off the charts after her second book! She obviously has taken every piece of feedback from everyone and has damn near perfected her work! The story line in this book flows so well that it appears just effortless. Not once did I ever feel like it fizzled out nor did I ever feel distracted in any way. The character development was amazing and I felt like I was able to completely connect with the main characters along with the secondary characters. I love the witty banter back and forth between Dams and Nerd. I think my favorite part was when 'Nerd pops Dams cherry'! I love that Esther uses a heroine that is strong, has a backbone and says what she thinks, instead of a doormat that is just going to do whatever her man tells her too. I see great things in the future for Ms. Schmidt! ...and just a side not, the end is just...OH. FUCK!!!

A strong 4 star rating for book 2. I recommend reading in sequence. It could be read as a standalone but there is storyline and detail continuation.
I was so excited for this one. I knew I would get to revisit some friends as well as make new ones. Really nice inclusion from previous book.
It had uniqueness and originally which is often difficult to find. I didn't find myself loosing interest or knowing what happened next.
Wonderful characters. Some good - some bad- a vast array of personality types. Very well written and do an amazing job of supporting the story.
The dialogue is so captivating. Lots of humor and wit. It does an outstanding job of connecting the characters. Very easy to get attached.
This one is full of emotions. It is captivating and grabs hold of your heart. Expect every feeling possible to surface at some point.
I do like the writing style. I did recognize improvement in reference to details and smoothness. Just still feel with time some minor decepancies will work themselves out.
Strongly suggest reading this one. I don't feel you will be disappointed. Grab this series!!!

I loved, loved Dams and Nerd!!! She is my favorite heroine so far. We have a few new bad guys creating havoc in this book, and as always the smoking hot sex! This book was hotter than the first.....I for sure needed a cold drink with this one to cool off :) Nerd was a little bit emotional and really quick to pass judgement on others (especially Dams) but I couldn't fault her for that once I found out the reason why. Once she was dedicated though, she was all in, and I loved the way she reassured Dams about their relationship when they were working with Chopper. Great book, I'm quickly falling in love with all of the characters and I can't wait to read about Tyler. I was confused in some parts though and a little disappointed when I realized I was supposed to read Deeds before this one, since it gives away a lot of events that happen with Lynn and Deeds. I'm currently now reading Deeds, and I already know some of the major plots and their outcomes, but oh well. I can still enjoy all the hotness between those two. Another great MC author to add to my shelves. I look forward to reading more from.

Dams (Areion Fury MC) is the second book in this series. Esther sure stepped up to the plate with Dams and Nerd's story. Her writing just flowed so smoothly for me that I couldn't put this book down. The banter between Dams and Nerd was hilarious. Nerd is a independent woman who takes no ones shit! Just because she's tiny does not mean she's a pushover. Dams is the Vice President of Areion Fury MC and he knows what he wants and he wants Nerd. I usually like my MC reads to be a little more hardcore, but I was not disappointed. The connection between these two was undeniable. They made me laugh and boy did they make me sweat cause damn they were hot together. Can't wait to see how Esther tops their story!

Ok it's not a cliffhanger for our main characters but that ending. Anyway back to the reviewing. Again EES gave us a great read. This one kinda coincides with Deeds book. You don't need to read Deeds book to understand this one but you're missing a good story if you don't. Now we have Nerd who was raised by a biker. It wasn't a good life either so she chooses to stay away from all bikers. Dams has been working with her for months. Now that he has ran into her a second time he know that he wants her. She has things that she need to overcome. He has a past that hasn't taught him how to love or show love so this relationship crap is new to him. Add on top of that problems with her family and these two have a lot to work on. I love how EES has her characters coming together to work as a team instead of against each other. Good read if your looking for something a little light but not too heavy.

I have been dying to read another book in this series and I can say that it was worth the wait. I LOVED this book and the only negative is, is that it ends. I loved every second of this book and the characters in it that I was sad to see the end but of course it can't go on forever. I absolutely loved the banter and relationship that Dams and Nerd have. The characters will have you cracking up and then Dams will have you panting. Dams is smoking hot and his alpha ways will have you drooling. I loved his determination to show Nerd that he isn't what she believes. Nerd, OMG she is a riot. She is such a feisty, scrappy thing that will not take crap from anyone. She stands up for those she cares about. She is scared to open her heart to Dams, but Dams is determined to make her his.

You will not be disappointed in this book or any other books by Esther. Esther can write stories that have you loving all the characters in it and the stories will have you sucked in and hooked from page 1.

Dams is absolutely amazing seriously the storyline was brilliant. I will happily shout out that everyone really needs to 1 Click this book as soon as it releases its that good. The chemistry between the main characters Dams and Nerd was flawless. it had the perfect balance of banter action and hot&steamy scenes. I loved Nerd she was so sassy strong and independent and funny. Dams what can I say he is a hot as hell Alpha male who will have you feeling hot under the collars with his dirty talking and a little something extra special cough cough. His loyalty to those that mean the most to him is outstanding. I loved the supporting characters and am really looking forward to their stories especially one in particular. And the ending holy hell talk about leaving me hanging off the edge of my seat. With each book Esther writes the stories get more addictive.

There wasn't much of anything that I DIDN'T like about Dams and Nerds book. Right from the start you were drawn into their story. That's not entirely true...If you have read the other books you have already seen their chemistry in motion and anticipated seeing a book where the two of them finally fall.

Nerd. That girl is a wild one. She 100% keeps Dams on his toes. She also puts up one hell of a fight not to fall from Dams and his biker nonsense. Dams refuses to have it. He is bound and determined to make Nerd see that she is totally and irrevocably his.

When it all comes down to it, and the wolves start to paw at Nerds door Dams will prove once and for all that he will take care of everything she needs and will always keep her safe.

This is my confession: I didn't want this story to send!

I Love MC books and I'm so glad I discovered this author.

I went into this booking having read Deeds - part of Esther's other series, Broken Deeds MC which intertwines with the Arerion Fury MC Series but not Zack

I would recommend Reading Zack first but Dams can be read as a standalone.

This was a well written book with really likeable characters. I was sucked in from the first page and didn't put it down until I had finished it.

This book had everything I love in an MC book; an alpha male, a feisty heroine, hot sex and action galore.

If, like me, you're a lover of MC books then I would highly recommend adding this author to your TBR.

I FLOVE Dams! I liked Dams, the VP of Areion Fury MC, since the beginning of this series. He's a broken, loyal biker who is always there for his brothers, regardless what that may be.

Nerd is the girl behind the computer the MC uses when they need information. She's always been told to stay away from bikers.

I love this book! It seems like every book I read by this author keeps getting better. I started this book late last night before bed and I couldn't put it down. I ended up reading until 5am because I had to finish! This book is a definite page turner and can't wait to read more by this author in the future!!

Wow I was glad to see the story of these two.
Nerd is perfect she's smart, beautiful and kick ass sass. even though Dams has only really talked to Nerd when the MC needed somthing he just had feelings every time he spoke to her, but when he sees her he knows that she belongs to him now he has to prove it and his use to being in control in all things but Nerd has sass and isn't take crap from no one even though both are damaged souls together they are beautiful but don't get me wrong we get the MC feel totally just with a sexy hot love story. loved it.

I love this series. If you like hot alpha bikers who don't take crap from anyone then this is the series for you. Nerd has grown up with a biker but he was a awful example as a man. So because of this she is all set with bikers but Dams has his sights set on her. Dams will do what is necessary to make Nerd his. Nerd is one strong spunky character and I loved her. Dams will make your panties melt off so Nerd has no chance of resisting him. These two have amazing chemistry and watching them fall for each other. There's plenty of action and you get to see what the previous characters from this series are up too. I can't wait to see whose story is next.

This is the first book I've read by Esther E Schmidt and after reading this, it DEFINITELY won't be the last!! Her writing skills are incredible, her storyline is amazing and the characters are HOT AS HELL!!!
Nerd is brilliantly smart, funny, cute and sassy.. And she can handle herself well, all in she makes one hell of an ol' lady!!
Where to even begin with Dams?!?! He's smokin' hot, kind, gruff, possessive, supportive and an incredible VP! Where can I get one?!?!
This book was so much more fantastic than i thought it'd be!
A definite must read and 5 'Hot' stars!
