and so this tale comes to a close. it is pretty much what it looks to be, a "carefree young adventurer lost world was it all a dream" tale that spent itself on making our intrepid hero choose foolishly over and over and over and over and over and over between two ravishing beauties (one oh so sweet and innocent and his lady on a pedestal and the other sultry dangerous tigress femme fatale and his true mate). another one of those tales wherein the hero commits dozens of inane actions knowingly because he couldn't not take a dare! I finished it, and there were lots of clever scenes and moments, but while the young me once loved such stories, this me was mostly irritated. read it if you want to reminisce and are prepared to stomach it.
