A woman with nothing left to lose... When Nicodemus Marsh is contracted by Sean Taylor, a business man and exiled demon to look after his interests involving Janey Duvall's Company by keeping the busty beauty in control, he never thought he'd fall for the girl he was supposed to make fall for him. The major problem? Marsh is a Djinn, a major race of genie, and a genie grants three wishes. He's met his match in the woman he's sent to break, and while she's occupied with his body and his actions, will she see past the cosmetic to make the one wish that will keep her by his side for all time?
A man with everything to offer... Janey Duvall, newly bound consort to the Djinn Nicodemus Marsh, is having a few minor problems with the delivery of a contract, namely, the assassin is refusing to finish the job. There's no reason why the Mark should still be alive, not with one of her best on the job. Knowing this is not normal behavior, she decides that going to Beijing, the city the hit is supposed to take place, is the best course of action.
Marsh is intrigued by the idea, having a few of his own that involve Janey and an auction, and agrees to go, even calling in his marker from his most recent job of taming the fiery woman that became his consort to help with the investigation. When Marsh is faced with the task of transforing Janey for their investigation, will his glamour hold up to the scrutiny and allow them to prevail, or will he lose the one woman he could ever give his heart to?
One half of the award winning best selling writing team of Stella and Audra Price, Stella is the older and more worldy of the two sisters. Stella and Audra write several series, including the Eververse series, the Dragon elementals series, Duvall Inc. and the Keepers of twilight series.
Stella lives in New York and is also a award winning cover artist. She does all of their book covers.
It start with Wishes and intro to the characters. Nicodemus Marsh (Marsh) is contracted my Sean Taylor (Casha - Demon) to contact Janey Duvall who runs a very exclusive assassin company. A woman as a hitman... WOO HOO. Marsh and Janey are super hot for each other and get involved in a whirlwind romance. Janey is very sick and is granted 3 wishes from Marsh who happens to be a Djinn, a very solitude race. He is looking for a true companion, however he can't say that. But the wishes will cost her... 100 years of being his sex slave.. or will she.. What will her wishes be?
In Glamour you get into the action and adventure that the two get involved in. They travel to Beijing to take care of an assassin that had not yet taken place. But why didn't her employee take care of the target? You also meet new characters and races in this book from the ultra sexy vamp Malcolm to a Hypno Fey. What will happen when Marsh and Janey team up with Taylor's associate Malcolm in the race to take care of the target on time? What other mysteries in Marsh's life will he reveal to Janey?
A great read.. you have action, adventure, mystery and a whole lot of HOTNESS!
wow what can i say 2 Marsh and Janey stories in one book .Get out your fan as Marsh is one red hot Djinn who believes he's the only one that can use the word no.While Janey is fiery in her own right and tough as nails Marsh can make her quake in her boots and it's not from fear. I loved this book and only hope that we see more of Marsh, Janey and their friends
Perhaps my favorite series by the Price sisters, Duvall, Inc. follows the lives of a Djinn Prince, Marsh, and his beautiful but deadly consort, Janey. Better still, the series allows a glimpse of my own favorite Eververse character and the world's lone vampire, Malcom Frost. Gritty, raw, and deliciously tempting, Wishbound is a must for any fan of urban fantasy romance.
This was beyond "steamy"... it was Sizzlin' Hot! I do not often read erotica, but I recently met one of the authors, Stella Price, at a convention in Savannah and let's just say she's one of those authors you just can't forget. So when she offered me an audible version of one of her books in exchange for an honest review, I said "Hell yeah!" Now before I go on with my review, I have to tell you that most of the books I've encountered in this genre by other authors have little or no story line. Not the case with this one. There was ACTION.. and not just under the sheets. It had an interesting and twisted story that was wild to follow.
This was like two books in one. The first part of the book, The Bargain, is all about how Nicodemus Marsh (the Djinn) and Janey Duvall (the Assassin) got together. I'm not giving up any spoilers here, but it is an interesting bargain with three wishes! The second part of the book, The Job, goes into more detail of the assassination plot in Beijing.
The narrator in the audible version was good, but in the beginning of the book when I was trying to grasp what the heck was going on, she read a bit fast and I had a difficult time getting into the story. I did eventually get caught up though.
As for recommending this book, lets just say that if you are put off by vulgar language and graphic sex, this is not the book for you. But if you are open to anything wild...
*Disclaimer: I received a complimentary audible version of this book provided by the author with the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments and ratings are my own.
The Bargain – Janey Duvall has taken over Duvall Inc., specializing in assassins for hire, and she is a badass. A demon needs her help with some “issues” he’s facing in his not-so-legal business but she won’t budge. Cue Nicodemus Marsh – the hot, dominant, too sexy to resist djinn extraordinaire. If he can’t break her, nobody can. Janey had no clue what she was getting herself into with this bargain, but I’m sure she’ll be more than happy with the results. So tell me, if you had 3 wishes, what would they be?
The Job – Marsh and Janey are on their way to Beijing to clean up a mess. An evangelist has a hit on him, the assassin isn’t closing the deal, and something just isn’t right. And Duvall Inc. is on a mission to find out why. Marsh is still up to his sexy antics and pissing Janey off, but he knows what Janey will like and just how far to push. We also learn more about Janey’s past and get a closer look at how Duvall Inc. runs.
Two short stories that pack one hell of a punch. Heavy magic and rogue assassins, steamy and hilarious, demons, djinn, fey and vampires…yes, please and may I have some more? LOVED these stories and characters and I’m looking forward to more!
When Janey has a steamy encounter with the Djinn, Nicodemus Marsh, she knows she will succumb to his charms even though she doesn't want to help Nick's partner. However, Nick can cure her and he intrigues her, so she agrees to be his consort for the next hundred years. After agreeing, Janey hears that one of her assassins has refused to finish a job and she must find out why. With Marsh along for the ride, Janey goes after the mark herself.
If you're looking for a steamy story about Djinn, vampires, and demons, this is the story for you!
Audio Review: Kylie Stewart has the perfect voice for this story. Some of her pronounciations were a bit different, but other than that I highly recommend her narration.

The authors were spot on saying that this is not their normal writing. But it was damn good fun. Marsh is an ass, and Janey gives as good as she gets. The Price sisters know just when to add the snark, and when to get the story moving, and this is two! I fell over with laughter a couple times, *gasped* out loud, and just plain got sucked into their world of the Djinn.
I couldn't find just the second book on here so I added this one. I'm actually reading book 2 which is "The things a Djinn can Do." I love Marsh more & more. Janey is so perfect for him. I also enjoyed the introduction Malcolm & Miranda to the mix.
