About the author

My love for scripture and coloring combined together in one book piqued my interest when this book was offered free by Baker Publishing Group and Graf-Martin Communications, Inc for a review. I jumped at the opportunity to receive this book.

One of the things that drew me to this book were the inspirational scripture verses that accompany all the drawings.

Margaret Feinberg is super artistic with her drawings and quite talented!

This book, with it's drawings, are visually appealing to look at and for the kid in all of us one can tend to get lost in coloring.

My eleven year old niece suggested that I photocopy the book and keep my book as a keepsake. Her suggestion was well received and I took her advice. Of course there was an ulterior motive behind her suggestion as she wanted one to color, as well!

My intention is to color and frame these drawings and give them away as presents for Christmas. But due to my disability I may not get many done as I have limited hand strength. We shall see what I can accomplish with God's help.

I absolutely love this book and if you order it directly from the Author it is fairly priced at $11.99.

Because I love to color there will probably be other adult coloring books in my future!

The simple truth is that I live in a family of doodlers, sketchers and colourers. My kids bring home their assignments from school with all sorts of random artwork displayed across the pages. My wife makes grocery lists with fancy flowers and budding vines. And any handout I get from work is immediately adorned with my preschool skill-level drawings. So, when "Live Loved" hit the market, it was only natural that a copy find its way into my home.

My wife reports that this adult colouring book is, indeed, a gem. She has greatly enjoyed sitting down to colour, whether on her own or with my kids while they focus on their own colouring books. The artwork in "Live Loved" is beautiful and simply waiting for a splash of colour to be added to bring the images to life. The accompanying verses are simple but profound, and designed so that as you are adding blues and greens and reds to the words that the truth of God's love is finding its way into your soul. The only thing my wife would like to see different is that the pages come with perforated edges so that if wanted you could easily remove a particular drawing to display it in the house. However, as this book can also act as a journal to capture your thoughts, perhaps the intent was to keep the pictures in the book next to the journal entries.

In an age where the busyness of life can seem overwhelming, I can see why adult colouring books are becoming popular, enabling people to slow down, create beauty, and reflect on their lives. If you are looking for a book that will help you do just that, then plan on adding "Live Loved" and Margaret Feinberg's other books to your collection! 4.5 out of 5 stars.

My Reflections: As a child I loved to color, as a mom I love to color along side my wee children. Now as a mom of older children who don't really color any longer unless it is for a school project I was so thrilled to have the opportunity to review this new book. Not only is it a coloring book but it is so much more. It incorporates scripture verses! This is the first book I have seen like this, such a fabulous and unique outlet for creativity. I so enjoyed reading the many verses in this book. I found as I let them soak in I would pray and ask God to show me more of what he wants me to learn, and how he wants me to grow in 2016. It is amazing what a little time with God can do to transform your day, so uplifting and life changing. I love how every coloring page has a space on the opposite side to write notes. I am going to fill this book with my prayers, my hopes, my dreams, scriptures that God places on my heart. I am a color inside the lines kinda girl but you could be as creative as you want, after all you are an adult now and no one is going to be grading you! My women's group just recently held a fun little exercise time where we were to write down our prayers for 2016 the very same day this came in the mail, coincidence I think not! I will be using this little coloring book as my prayer journal and as

In keeping with the new and popular trend of adult colouring books, Bethany House Publishers has released a beautiful new selection to the market. Live Loved by Margaret Feinberg is a work of art just waiting to happen, and is sure to please anyone who will bring life to its pages.

After a short introduction sharing the story behind the title of Live Loved, each of the following colouring pages features the words of a hand-selected Bible verse, surrounded by a vast array of flowers and greenery. One unique touch to this already lovely book is the added space for journaling. Highlighting the same Bible verse as the accompanying illustration, a lined page is provided adjacent to each colouring page so that you may jot down any thoughts, doodles, reflections, or prayers.

Ms. Feinberg has truly created a wonderful opportunity for creativity to shine. Without a doubt, Live Loved is the most beautiful colouring book I have had the pleasure of using. The quality is exceptional, the illustrations charming, and the verses clearly chosen with careful attention to how we can truly live loved.

`Live Loved` is an adult coloring book based on Christian religion. Each page has an area to color along with a scripture verse to meditate on. The back of each good qualty paper is a section called `Pray and Reflect`. There is also a section on `How to use this book`, which is very helpful.
I find each verse to be relaxing, as well as the coloring. I first heard about adult coloring books in January 2016. Although I believe they made their debut in 2015. When I first heard about adult coloring books I thought they must be rated-X. To my pleasant surprise, I have found many Christian Adult color books and no X-rated books.I am glad Christian publishers are among those publishing these books.
I tried coloring with permanent markers and found they bled through the page. So now I use watercolor pencils and very pleased with the outcome. I have about 10 such books and find them to be elegantly done and relaxing. I feel like author Margaret Feinberg did a wonderful compilation of artwork and verses.

Not exactly a book to read, but an excellent journal, devotional, and coloring book all in one. Absolutely great way to reflect on the love of God as you color. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to be encouraged with scripture of Gods love towards them.
