The absolutely only thing I don't like about this series is that it is a serial series. I prefer stories that are wrapped up at the end for the main characters. The author decided to try this format. Since I love every book by Lisa that I have read, I was happy to receive this series in exchange for an honest review.
Knox is rich and handsome. He runs a security business with his brothers, who I am sure will have stories of their own soon. I can barely wait.
Mica is a very frightened woman. Having a stalker is terrifying enough, but when the police fail to offer any help she realizes she needs to go outside the box. She calls Rosesson Security. I can't tell you more cuz it would spoil stuff. Suffice it to say this series is a great read.. Don't miss it.

Having read all of Lisa's books, I was excited to see a new one come out. This one is different from the usual in that it is a serial and has less action than usual. Although I have a feeling that is all about to change with the next installment. This one was all about introducing the main characters, most especially Knox and Micah who we know have a past that neither has ever forgotten or recovered from. Can't wait for the next release to see whether Knox recognizes Micah/Rachel! Please don't make us wait long.

Knox is still looking for the woman who disappeared from him 10 years. Something is missing from his life but he doesn't know what it is. Mica is living her life in fear. Will they be able to work together or will the cliff hanger Lisa has left us with in this book be to much for them both.
Great work!! Am now sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book to this series.

a little bondage and submission. a missing lover. a woman terrorized. serial. there's a second story/serial included in my copy. totally different involving an out of control senator who is a serial killer.

First time reading any of this author books and I fell in love it’s not like your normal meet fall in love the end kinda book. The twist on the book are amazing and I love how she not just do it as o that can only happen in a book the things that are in the book happens in real life. Can’t what to read the rest of the set

He can't have sex without the woman being completely bound and he has a room in his house with a contraption that he uses to do the trick. But each encounter just leaves him emptier then the one before.
Mica is a woman in fear for her life. She has been receiving "gifts" from a man in her past. We get just a little glimpse of who this man is and what his twisted and warped thinking is buts that all. When Mica realizes she needs help, she calls Knox's company. What she doesn't expect is for Knox to show up himself.
This story is a great start to new a series by Lisa. I can't wait to find out the answers to some of my questions (of course as I write this, I have those answers because I have read book 2).

Knox is still working for his father's company yet he is sick of all the lies and secrets that happen all the time. Whilst he has been working he is also still searching for the girl that he met eight years ago, as he still feels like if things would have worked out differently then maybe they would have been together now. However that isn't the case and he is still searching.
Mica Nicolas has been running for what it seems like forever, she still remembers that night from eight years ago, she honestly didn't expect to see him again but when she does happen to spot him she immediately hires him as even though she has made a huge success of herself her past won't seem to leave her alone. for a while now she has been coping with what happened to her years ago and even though she thought that she could possibly be safe, she knows for a fact that she isn't. I was so thrilled to read this story, it's good to be able to get a different side of what authors write in their romance books. I would advise you that if you do decide to read this book then I would start with the prequel as you will get a bit more of an understanding as to what is happening between Knox and Mica.

Super short ...
This is meant to be ten years after the prequel and Knox still thinks about his encounter on the train with the mysterious elusive girl. He owns his own security business now, extremely confident, filthy rich...and into blindfolding and tying up willing women in his 'green' room for sex. Unbelievably everything's set up by one of his brothers...showing the big bed with restraints, the non disclosure agreement, safe words...everything! In the meantime the girl he was so drawn to has changed her looks, her name and has done well for herself in fashion design but she's been found by the man she escaped and fears. Enter Knox when she hires him to protect her. In all honesty I feel disappointed, disgusted and cheated...This book finished at 32% ...again leaving on a cliffhanger. All these short stories would fit into a decent sized book, why split them up??? This book and the prequel I found for free, I'm so glad I didn't have to pay for them. The prequel had potential although it was too short to determine the true personality of the characters, having now read book one...I don't like them especially Knox. Very poor.

Interesting Startup!!
Knox Rosesson has been the same after Rachel the one woman who in my opinion he had given his heart to disappeared. He spend years looking for her and never found her, it nearly broke him.
Knox has a very complicated relationship or lack of one with his father which only worsened when over the years. If it wasn't for his brothers and his mother who still cared for his old man, Knox wouldn't give a BLEEP.
Knox broke away from his father and build his own security company, but after helping out some friends....he was bored and attending a party thrown by his "step-mother" wasn't helping even if it was to welcome back his brother Phoenix from Afghanistan.
Mica Nichols needed protection and the only man who could help was Knox, well that was a nice twist regarding Mica and Knox having a little bit of history....Can't wait for more.

Just finished this first book in the new series. It was little less action than what I was use to with her writing from the other series I have read by Lisa, but with that said it just started getting into the action toward the end to leave you hanging on the side of the cliff and wanting more. There are def some secrets coming to read about between the characters and a side to the main character that I never saw coming from his spots in past books. I look very forward to continuing this story in the next books to come.
Can't wait to unlock all the secrets and find out the relationship between the characters. Love all her past books so I know this will fall into place with the others in my bookshelf.

This was the first book I've read by Lisa Ladew & It won't be the last because I've already bought the next two books in this series. Knox Rosesson is a self made man who is very driven to uncover secrets within his own family and to find the woman who got away. Mica Nichols has been on the run her entire life. She finally decides she must hire a protection detail. It just happens to be with the one man who made her feel safe on a very special night many years ago. While hiding her identity Mica hires Knox on the spot. Will they have a chance to set things right before her past catches up to her?
This book was amazing and left me wanting more & more I will get. Read as part of the B is for Bad Boys Anthology.

December 26, 2015It took me 2 tries to get into this book I saw a few other Lisa Ladew followers rave about the series so I gave it a second chance. After getting past a few confusing chapters in the begining I finally got the "who's-who". The names of the characters were very unusual and was one of the reasons I initially put the book down the first time (that and the confusing start). I will say the book (story) ends with a wild cliffhanger that I compared to being at the very edge of the grand canyon. I suggest if you are going to start the book, be patient with the story and have the others in the series

Well this was an okay book; however, the title is misleading. If you think you are getting an erotica story, you will be sadly disappointed. I'm not sure what the author was going for but just because you name a room THE GREEN ROOM and have 1 bed with straps on it doesn't make it an erotica. Did he tie up 2 girls "yes" but that was about it. Nothing special about any of it so other than the fact her Uncle ended up being her dad (which is sick by the way) and her crazy adopted step father wanted to sale her doesn't make it a kink. Sorry! Like I said it was just okay.

Great first book in this series! We meet Knox in The Edge of the Heat 7, and I enjoyed learning more about him in this book. We also meet Mica, her intriguing story being interwoven with Knox and his siblings, and find something out at the end that will keep you at the edge of your seat, literally, because it's a great cliffhanger!

If you love Lisa your going to love this book! It's the beginning of a new series and takes you in a direction that your not expecting.
This gives you more insight to Knox and you get to meet Mica. Mica has issues from the past that she's trying to get away from. Knox is trying to get past the girl that he can't forget.

4.5 stars. Oh my gosh I was so excited to read this book, I loved Knox in Edge of the Heat 7. This was an edgy story that laid the groundwork for what looks to be another exciting series from Lisa Ladew

Great start to a new series. Interesting storyline. The characters are quite enjoyable. Cliffhanger...not my favorite ending to a book. Now I have to see where this leads. But I'm sure it will be as intriguing or perhaps better than this book.
