Unwilling to accept probable extinction, John Wild decides to take a stand against the plague that destroyed his family, as well as nearly all of humanity. He and a small band of like-minded survivors fight tooth and nail against man and rev alike as they travel to meet John’s longtime friend, neurobiologist Dr. Lin San, intent on finding a cure.
Even as they prepare to leave, John clings to the hope that his daughter, Ava, is alive. Without that hope and the help of those fighting alongside him, John would be devoured by the apocalyptic wasteland.
