A cute Scooby story told in comic form. I really enjoyed the story itself and the pictures, but there were some issues. For one, the gang waits for the vampire to show up with no plan or trap or anything. They just sit and wait and then run with it shows up and let it wreck everything again. They’ve solved enough mysteries that they should have had some plan. The plan could have gone wrong and they still ended up in the same spot to find their clues but having nothing prepared was ridiculous. Also, when they finally do set the trap, they set it for the day time even though the vampire only comes out at night and the bats attack during the day, but yet the vampire just magically shows up this one time to get captured. I mean I understand that it’s Scooby and it’s teenagers solving mysteries with a talking dog but still, the author could at least make the story make sense and at least be believable in the Scooby realm but overall the story still wasn’t awful.
I watch like 20 hrs a week of scooby doo, but this mystery had elements I could not predict. Turning the ipad landscape mode made the 2 pg layout more enjoyable.
