When an outspoken, neighboring business owner is found dead in what appears to be a suicide, Sadie Barnett suspects there's more to it than meets the eye. What she doesn't anticipate is that her name will be added to the list of suspects.
To complicate matters further for her, Chief Woodstone is off the case, meaning Sadie has to play detective under the radar to save herself and catch an elusive murderer before they escape.
This was good. I really enjoyed it. Sadie is strong and self-confident personality, and it's a trait that's definitely needed in this story. Really good mystery and characterization. I'm enjoying this series!
Sadie is deep into another murder with a few suspects. She not only helps with the murder, takes on a project for budding artists, and takes on who she thinks is a bully trying to trash her boyfriend good name.
