Merrion Frances Fox is an Australian writer of children's books and an educationalist specialising in literacy. Fox has been semi-retired since 1996, but she still gives seminars and lives in Adelaide, South Australia.

Nicolee's sister sent this series to Nicolee's son, so when we went to their house for dinner, she brought it out to share with Jack, as another half-Australian boy.

I read it to Jack at the dinner table after we had eaten and the night was winding down, as he was getting a bit bored. Daniel and I loved how it was based on the original Possum Magic book and characters. Jack seemed to love the animals, and he laughed when I did some dramatic voices that echoed the actions.

This was a find in a charity shop in the U.K. book originally from Australia. Incredibly cute drawings of Australian animals. A good opportunity to teach my baby about other fauna :)
