The book includes lessons on how A leader's time is valuable, as is that of their staff. There's no room for waste. The Together Leader prepares leaders to truly lead their teams, with the tools and strategies that make real, effective mission-driven leadership possible.
Perfectly timed - read this at the beginning of a very busy school year and start of my second year in this leadership role with a growing team and company. So much to implement - started with email guidance for my team and already feel less stressed/more focused.
I'm always on the lookout for a more effective organizational system, and this book offered a few suggestions (from email bankruptcy to using a flexy) that I plan to begin using this summer into next school year. I've also had success with the Passion Planner over the years, but it didn't help me streamline all of my systems. Let's hope I've found a system that sticks!
A wide-variety of strategies for those in need of increasing their level of organization. My favorite quotes: “If you base your success on completing a daily to-do list, you will never feel successful.” “Togetherness is not about ticking things off a list but rather ensuring the right things are done by the right people at the right times.”
Incredibly helpful ‘how to’ guide for leaders, individual contributors, and people looking to making themselves and or teams more productive. The section on email (although spelled ‘e-mail’ in the book!) was life changing.
